Chapter X

"What do we do with her?" Derek asked Mareth.

They were currently standing in the basement watching Jennifer sleep. Tenko had just left the house and Derek was soon to follow, though he didn't feel comfortable leaving Mareth alone with Nurse Jennifer after she had used so much magic.

"She's a clean slate. Besides witnessing Peter in his feral form, she knows nothing. I couldn't even find a memory that explained why eyes turned steel-blue. She can be your first Beta." said Mareth

"Is that druid advice or just a wild suggestion?" asked Derek.

"Druid advice. The way I see it, Tenko has been collecting money to build and take care of his pack. With me as his emissary and the recruit that he's working on, he doesn't need this one. Besides, in her current state, she just might require a softer touch."

"Softer touch?" Derek raised an eyebrow as he looked at Mareth.

"Seduction, Derek. All you have to do is suggest that you want her dead and Tenko won't bat an eye when he dispatches her. If the stories are true, he's been through shit that makes him bury enemies nine feet deep in a steel coffin. So make a choice, Derek." said Mareth.

Derek sniffled and looked at the nurse. "Fine, I'll take her only because she doesn't deserve to die. She's just a pawn, Mareth. Do me a favor and find the O'Connors. Tell them their daughter is going to be away for a while."

Mareth smiled at Derek and said, "Decisive. It looks good on you, D. Go ahead, I'll take care of everything here."

After Derek left the house, Mareth put on a devilish grin. "Now, you and I have somethings to straighten out," Mareth spoke to the sleeping Jennifer.

She positioned herself behind Jennifer and placed two fingers on each of the woman's tempos. A ring of fire was conjured and Mareth began to chant, weaving her druid magic.

"Peidiwch â gwrthsefyll y tân. Gadewch iddo ddod i'ch meddwl. Gadewch i'r fflamau chwilio'ch meddyliau, teimlo eu bod yn llosgi i mewn i gilfachau tywyllaf eich meddwl."

Mareth's brown eyes went milky white, Jennifer's eyes snapped open and shined steel-blue with blazing intensity. Frozen they stood as Mareth began to weave complete and coherent memories within Jennifer's mind.

Later in the evening or very early in the morning, Tenko was on the phone with Lydia while he was driving to the police station. He had just left the long term care facility with a few articles of Peter's clothing.

"Are you going to stop by tonight?"

"I can't. Busy," he replied.

Lydia sighed. "Another pack thing?"

"More than I care to explain," he said.

"Hmm, I'm starting to feel neglected." she pouted.

Tenko laughed a bit. "Then call your boyfriend."

"Really? We're going there?" she asked.

"No need, I'm pulling up at the station. I need to go."

_______________________________________________________________________

Tenko walked into the station. And a caramel skinned woman was standing at the front desk.

"Deputy?"

"Clark," she said as she pulled on her nameplate.

"Deputy Clark. I have a few questions for you." Tenko said tiredly.

"Why do I feel like a suspect?" she asked.

"I don't know, you're the cop," Tenko replied nonchalantly. "If I asked to see a case file related to a car accident. What would I have to do to get said files, tonight?"

"Well I'll ask you for a case number and--"

"Don't have one. I partial policy number connected to the insurance investigation that was requested during the case. I just need a copy." He interjected.

"Well, in that case, I'll take that number and we'll work from there." said the Deputy.

"Fantastic," he replied and handed her the faded partial.

Deputy Clark eyed the paper and then began to punch in some numbers. After a few moments, Deputy Clark's eyes went big and she glanced at Tenko. She then put on a half-assed smile and said, "It looks like I need the sheriff on this one."

Tenko licked his lips and sighed. " Deputy Clark, do you have kids?" he asked.

The Deputy froze. "No." she replied.

"Anyone that you care about? Someone that you will give your life for?"

The Deputy nodded her and turned to face Tenko.

"Good. I want you to think about them. I want you to think of how happy they make you... Now I want you to ask yourself, 'Self, do I wear this uniform to serve and protect or do I wear it to provide for that special someone?'."

Tenko let her think for a moment. He then put on a friendly smile and put a black pouch on the counter.

"If the answer is to provide. Take that gift and tell me what that computer is telling you," said Tenko.

Deputy Clark looked around the station a bit fidgety. It was the worst part about working the graveyard shift. While everyone was out patrolling, she was left all alone.

"Don't worry, no one is watching. Take it." he goaded her.

Deputy Clark eyed the black pouch and snatched it off the counter. She slowly unzipped the pouch and found a few stacks of cash. The deputy gasped, slipping the pouch into her lunch box, she took a deep breath, then looked at the computer.

"There are documents from the same company with the same policy number, name, and date of entry. It's part of a cold case," she said.

"Good, I want it all. And the next time I need a hand, I'll look for you first, Miss Clark."

Deputy Clark looked around the empty station once more then left the front desk. When she returned she held an old office box and gave it to Tenko.

"Thank you, Deputy. And be sure to spend that wisely," said Tenko with a hint of a smile on his face.

Scott was walking through the parking garage with the groceries he picked up for his mother. She had informed him of the sheriff's diagnoses about being hit the previous night. He tried calling Stiles all day but his friend wasn't returning his calls or answering any of his texts. He guessed that Stiles was mad at him or something. Scott was hoping that Stiles wasn't blaming him for what happened to his father, even if he did feel guilty about him getting hit. He'll try and talk to his friend about it at school tomorrow.

As Scott walked down the ramp he didn't see any sign of the car. He looked back and saw that he was on the wrong level.

"Damn it," he growled before heading up to the next parking level. He wasn't seeing the car anywhere here either. Scott set the bags down and pulled his keys from his pocket. Pushing the buttons, Scott listened for his car when the horn sounded on the level above him. Scott guessed that he had so much on his mind that he had spaced on where he parked the car.

Suddenly the milk he bought fell from his bag and rolled away. "Crap," he said trying to catch it but missing it as it rolled under a car.

He went down to try and get it back but it rolled too far. When Scott was about to try and go around to see if he could get it from the other side, the bottle started rolling back to him, though it was leaking milk from claw marks. Scott started to hear soft growls, he took a few steps back and quickly took off running down to the lower level of the garage.

He jumped down and then ran off as fast as he could with the sound of growls following after him. He quickly threw himself onto the hood of a car and ran across them in order to set off the alarms in an attempt to hide the sound of his steps on the pavement.

Scott then crouched down between some cars as he tried to stay hidden. He could feel that someone was nearby and passing him over. But then his phone rang and when Scott reached to turn it off he felt someone grab him from behind and throw him down on the hood of a nearby car.

Scott looked up to see Derek's hard and glaring face looking down on him. "You're dead," he growled at him. Derek then got up and started to walk off.

Scott stomped off after him. "What the hell was that?" he asked pissed off.

Derek walked on, indifferent to Scott's tone with him. "I said I was going to teach you, I didn't say when. I also left you over 10 messages that you didn't reply to."

"You scared the crap out of me!"

Derek gave him a look over. "Not yet. "

"Okay, but I was fast right?" Scott asked.

"Not fast enough."

"But…the car alarm thing, that was smart right?"

"Till your phone rang. Even if it didn't, I could still smell you," Derek countered.

"But that was…okay, would you just stop?!" he roared out.

Derek stopped walking and turned to face the teen wolf. "What happened the other night, Stiles' dad getting hurt, that was my fault. I need you to teach me how to control this," said Scott.

"Look, I am what I am because of birth. You were bitten. Teaching someone who was bitten takes time. And I don't know if I can teach you. Besides, I'm starting to wonder if Tenko was right and I'm wasting my time with you."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean the night before, you were complaining to me about your grades and school and the next day Stiles tells us that you ditched. Tenko never seems to be at School but he still manages and never complains and let me tell you, that kid handles his shit. He's still out right now working with no sleep. "

"Wait…Stiles?" Derek talked to Stiles the other day? "You talked to him?"

"No, Mareth did," he grunted. "This is what I'm talking about. You have a feral, serial killing, alpha werewolf, hunting you. You're worried about getting your dick wet and you're human best friend is doing everything he can to figure this out for you. Don't you think he wants to be a star lacrosse player and make out with pretty girls all-day? But he can't, because all you do is bitch about the greatest thing that has ever happened to you and fawn over a girl that will probably string you up and cut you in half when she finds out what you are."

Scott was getting angry due to the verbal lashing. Derek quickly snatched Scott's phone away and looked at the missed call from Allison. Derek silently nodded his head and threw the phone at the wall.

Scott growled.

"Yeah. There it is... that anger. That's how you control it, that's how you stay alive when the Alpha comes to eat your heart out." Derek growled as he was fed up with teen wolf antics.

"I can get angry!" Scott roared.

"Not angry enough!" Derek roared in return, his eyes shined steel blue causing Scott to take a step back.

"You want me to teach you. You stay away from her." Derek pointed to the shattered phone against the wall.

The anger in Scott dissipated and Derek could see the hesitation in Scott's eyes. "If that's what it takes.."

"It's going to take a whole lot more than empty words. Just remember Scott. Moments like these are what define a man."

__________________________________________________________

Scott immediately went to Allison's house where they quickly started to heavily make out on her bed. Half of their clothes were off when there was a knock on the door.

"Just a second," Allison said as she helped Scott hide in her closet.

"Allison?" her aunt called out.

"Coming. Coming," she said hurriedly as she made sure she was decent and went to the door.

"Hey, what's up?" Kate said as she stepped in looking around the room.

"Nothing, just…doing some homework and sending some emails."

"Emailing the boyfriend?" teased Kate. Scott tensed a bit in the closet.

"Emailing PETA about how my dad shot some poor mountain lion in the school parking lot." Allison was referring to the night before at the parent-teacher conference.

"And that wouldn't have anything with the fact that you're grounded and can't see Scott?" she asked with a smirk on her face.

Allison shook her head. "I'm not going to be one of those whiny teenagers who looks at their father and says, I hate you. I wish you were dead."

"But-" guessed Kate.

"But…I hate him and wish he was dead," she finished flatly.

Kate laughed at her niece. "See? Now you're starting to sound like a normal, angry teenager. Say, what is it you're working on? Can I help?"

"Just…history project and I kinda want to be left alone."

Scott was hoping that her aunt would get the message and just leave. But Scott's luck was running low.

"What kind of history project?" Kate asked.

"Just a report that has to have some reference to my own family history."

Kate nodded. "Specific to your family?"

"Why? Do you have any ideas?"

Kate nodded and came in closer to her. "Type this in, La Bete de Gevaudan."

From the closet, Scott's eyes narrowed and he leaned in closer. He thought Stiles had mentioned that to him somewhere before but he couldn't quite recall what it was about.

"What is this?" Allison asked when the page came up.

"It's an old French legend, believe it or not, has something to do with your family."

Kate then started to talk about how the legend revolved around mysterious animal attacks, much like the ones happening now. When Allison commented that the beast's depiction resembled that of a wolf, Scott's heart jumped. A werewolf legend. That's what it was and it involved not only what he was but what Allison was too, a hunter. He didn't like that Allison was starting to circle the truth like this. He had even caught her staring at him a few times with scrutinizing eyes. He blamed it on Tenko's brazen ways and Derek's impromptu appearances.

But the truth was, Allison was just losing trust in him because of his sketchy character. She could feel that she was being kept away from something and she wanted to know what. Scott then thought that it might a good idea for him to stay away from her, at least until this talk of animal attacks and wolves started to go away.

When Kate finally left Scott decided that it was a good time to leave while he still could. He went and gave Allison a kiss goodbye before he climbed down the side of her house and headed for his car. Along the way, he heard a faint rustling in the bushes followed by some light growls. Scott assumed that Derek had followed him.

"Derek? Look, I know I said I would stay away but, you broke my phone. Had to at least tell her why I wasn't answering." But there was no response. "Derek?"

Scott's eyes soon narrowed on a pair of red eyes in the darkness. He soon realized that it wasn't Derek, but the Alpha. Scott then immediately ran for his car and fumbled with his keys when an Alpha roar shook the block.

Inside the Argent house. Kate and Chris immediately went for their guns while Mrs. Argent ran upstairs to check on Allison. When she reached the top, Allison was on her way downstairs. Mrs. Argent Immediatly stopped her and pushed her back inside of her room, locking the doors behind them

Outside, Scott watched as a massive wolf was tackled by a dual sword-wielding Tenko. When the alpha got to its feet it lunged at Tenko, Tenko sidestepped and slipped the alpha's attack. Tenko then stepped forward and delivered three quick slashes on the alpha's chest before flipping out of the alpha's reach.

Tenko's ears then twitched when he heard the sound of guns being loaded and the door to the Argent house being opened. Tenko ran at the alpha and the alpha pounced. Tenko suddenly dropped and slid under the airborne alpha. Tenko then spun around on his knees threw a barrage of shuriken at the alpha. Only half managed to hit the target before the Alpha ran off.

Tenko picked up his dropped ninjatos and sheathed them before walking to Scott and punched him in the jaw. Tenko then grabbed him by the throat and whispered, "What part of, an Alpha is hunting you, don't you understand."

"Woah Woah Woah, settle down!" Chris barked as he separated the boys.

Kate then grabbed Tenko and pulled him back. His eyes had bags and he looked beyond exhausted. Kate noticed and grabbed Tenko by the cheeks to take a closer look, she then checks his body for any bites or scratches.

Chris put's his gun away and looks over Scott as Kate looked over Tenko. Chris then looked between the two boys and said, "Care to explain."

"You're an Argent figure it out." Said Tenko as he smacked Kate's hands away, startling her. She had no idea why he would treat her like that.

"I think you two should come inside." Said Chris.

"I think not. Half of my shurikens are in the alpha's back. And those things go deep. Now I need to find him before he slips out of beacon hills again."

"Again?" Chris and Kate asked in unison.

Tenko just smirked as he went to pick up his shurikens. He then looked at Scott and said, "Get out of here before your mom finds you in a body bag."

Scott looked at Chris and he took his hand off of the door as he sighed. Scott then got in the car and drove off.

"What does the alpha want with Scott and who are you?" Kate asked.

Tenko froze for a moment and thought about all the ways Scott could fuck everybody by caving under the Argent's pressure. Tenko then decided to go undercover to stir things to his advantage.

"I am what you are. And why was the Alpha stalking your house?" Tenko asked.

Kate raised an eyebrow and looked at Chris. Kate then looked at Tenko again. "You sure you don't want to come in?"

"Only if you pour me a drink," Tenko replied.

As the trio walked back to the house, Tenko looked up to Allison staring out of the window. When they walked into the house, Tenko smiled at the sight of Mrs. Argent with a shotgun.

Mrs.Argent lowered the shotgun and looked at Tenko. "I'm actually not surprised," she said with a pleased smile on her face.

"Where's Allison?" asked Chris.

"Locked in her room," she replied.

Kate then scuffed and grabbed Tenko as she walked to the kitchen. The spouses then moved closer to each other and began to whisper amongst themselves.

"You look exhausted. How long have you been tracking it?" Kate asked Tenko.

"Since last night. It killed my girlfriend and her friend. Put the only survivor in Eichen House."

"So this is revenge?" She asked.

"Of course it is." he spat. "So why was it here?"

Kate poured Tenko a glass of scotch. "It must have been following Scott."

"You think I would be this fucking tired if it was following Scott? All I would have to do is watch him until the Alpha showed itself."

"Unless it's recruiting Betas," Kate said.

"Ahh. Scott? It could be possible. More likely Allison though. I engaged the Alpha when it was in the bushes outside of her window. By that time, Scott was already near his car. But Allison, young, smart, beautiful, and an Argent. Bite her and watch the Argents implode. If she manages to survive, then the alpha has a promising beta. Be honest, she would be a sexy werewolf."

Kate emptied her glass in a hurry. She then gritted her teeth as she thought about Tenko's words. By the kitchen entrance Chris and Mrs.Argent were both staring at him with hard eyes.

"What," he said. "I'm just stating facts. The bitten are harder to train. But a girl like Allison with potential. She can get bitten and become an all-star Beta."

The Argents let Tenko's words sink in and like that, all attention was on Allison, like Scott wasn't even present when the Alpha attacked.

After that, Tenko made up a quick facade that painted him as a young hunter. As long as the Argents didn't go digging, then his story would hold up. He then swore not to tell Allison anything before he left. But then again, foxes are known to me tricksters.

Later that night, Tenko was laying on his bed when Mareth walked in.

Mareth saw how tired he was. She went and sat on his bed and Tenko moved to rest in her lap.

"I see you've been wearing a lot of skirts lately," he said tiredly.

"Hmm, I can always go back to pants and shorts," she said.

"Oh no, that would make me sad. Is that what you want, Mareth? To make your Alpha sad."

Mareth smiled as she ran her fingers through his hair. "On the contrary, babe. I'm here to cheer you up... And then we're going to get some sleep, okay?"

"Alright, but no outside clothes in the bed," he replied.

Mareth rolled her eyes as she smirks. " Your coyote is Malia Tate. Seven Years ago, she, her adoptive mother, and adoptive sister went for a ride and never came back. The official story is a car crash and then a coyote finished the job. But it's still a cold case. I looked at the files and it says Malia was probably dragged away by the coyote and eaten. Her body was never found. I matched the day of the accident with a full moon. So I'm 99 percent sure your coyote is the missing Malia Tate...

However, the missing body isn't the only reason it's a cold case. The windshield glass came back positive for gunshot residue. There was also a second pair of tire marks on the road that day. It matched a 2001 Hummer H1. The good news is, you can bring her back, it's not her fault. The bad news is..."

"Someone wants her dead," Tenko sighed.

_________________________________________________________________

Tenko woke up holding Mareth. She lay snug in his embrace as if it was the way she had slept for years. When Tenko rolled out of bed, Mareth stirred and eventually opened her eyes when the cold replaced the warmth that was generated by Tenko.

Mareth watched as Tenko dressed in very functional attire.

"Where are you going?" she asked.

"To find Peter, he hasn't been staying in Beacon Hills. But I have a feeling he isn't that far away. I'll find him today. Then I'll kill him. If I can't find him, well I have a test in math and Latin today."

"And what about Derek?" she asked

"Who's your Alpha?"

"You are" "She answered. "But I know he is your friend and he's expecting to take the Alpha Spark from his Uncle."

"I don't think he can do it. So when I find him, I'm going to kill him. And you won't tell any of this to Derek or Stiles, I see you two have been getting close."

Mareth rolled her eyes. "He has the makings of a Druid. I thought the Hale pack was going to be our allies? They'll need a Druid." she explained.

"That's fine. But what we discuss is our business. Teach him what you want, but he isn't in this pack... I'll be back later, call me if you need anything." he said.

"What about Malia?"" Mareth asked.

" I don't need her in this fight. I'll tend to her when I'm finished," he replied.

Tenko then grabbed his gear and left Mareth alone in his room. Mareth fell back on the bed and sighed. She looked at the time and rolled over to get a couple of more hours of shut-eye.

When she woke up to the sound of her alarm clock. She laid in bed for a moment before getting up. She walked downstairs to find that Tenko's Parents were up and eating breakfast at the table.

"Good Morning, Nikita." Mareth sang.

"Good Morning. I didn't know you slept over. Are you and my son.."

"No. We aren't. Between the damn Alpha and that werecoyote, all he has left for me is business." Mareth replied as she poured herself some coffee.

Nikita snickered as she sipped her tea. Mareth sighed and rolled her eyes before turning to face Nikita at the table. " Do you have something to say, Nikita?"

"Oh no. I just find it odd that my son, somehow, carves out time for, Lydia Martin, when he's 'So...busy'. " said Nikita.

"Nikita..." Mark barked.

Mareth snorted and turned back to her coffee. But she couldn't help but think of the name, Lydia Martin.

_______________________________________________________________

Lydia raised her fork up and waved it in the air. "The what of who?" she asked.

"The Beast of Gevaudan," said Allison. She was explaining the legend that her Aunt Kate helped her find about their family history. It was quite interesting and she felt that should share it with someone. She had the book she borrowed out in front of her.

"Listen to this, a quadrupedal wolf-like monster prowling the southern lands of France from 1764 to 1767 La Bete killed over a hundred people becoming so infamous that King Louis XV sent one of his best hunters to kill it."

"Boring," Lydia said.

"Even the church eventually declared the monster a messenger of Satan."

"Hmm, still boring."

"Crypt Zoologists believed that it may have been a subspecies of predator," Allison read.

"Slipping into a coma bored," Lydia said before eating a piece of cut fruit.

"While others believed that it was a powerful sorcerer that could shapeshift into a man-eating monster," whispered Allison for effect.

An effect that only made Lydia roll her eyes. "Any of these have anything to do with your family?"

"This. It is believed that La Bete was finally trapped and killed by a renowned hunter who claimed his wife and four children were the first to fall prey to the creature. His name was Argent."

Lydia didn't seem impressed by that revelation. "Your ancestors killed a big wolf. So what?"

"Not just a big wolf. I mean, look at this picture," she said showing Lydia the illustration. "What does that look like to you?"

Lydia focused on the picture, mostly on the beast in the back that had the red glowing eyes. The same glowing eyes that flashed at her when the Alpha attacked her at the video store. Lydia then thought of Tenko and remebered his mentions of hunter. Lydia's mind then bagan to spin. Lydia heard Allison call her name and she pulled herself back to reality.

"It looks…like a big wolf. See you in history," she said leaving Allison there to stare after her with scrutinizing eyes and overflowing suspicions.

Allison had shared the story with Lydia for two reason. The first was pure intrigue for the story and wanting her bestfriend to hear it. The second was because, her aunt made some pretty obvious insinuations last night. The same night a beastial roar shook her beedroom window and Tenko walked to her house with sword on his back while her family was armed with guns. And Allison knew that Lydia knew something about Tenko that she was keeping to herself.

Across the way at another table not that far from Allison. Stiles and Scott sat evesdropping.

"Why is Allison reading that legend?" Stiles asked. With his research into Allison's family history, he knew that Allison was now practically circling her family's legacy.

Scott was hiding his face behind a textbook so that Allison couldn't see him. "Her aunt gave it to her last night."

"Last night?" he asked Scott who nodded before hiding back behind the book. "Didn't you just tell me that Derek told you to stay away from Allison until the full moon. last night. And that the Alpha attacked you and Tenko had to save your little werewolf ass from being eaten, last night. So, where was Allison during all of this?"

"I-- In the house," Scott replied.

"In the house, as in at her house and you were attacked at your house, being attacked?"

"In the house, as in she was in the house while I was being attacked outside of her house."

"So she could have seen everything and could be getting initiated as a baby hunter, tonight? And all of that was a rouse to tell Lydia the truth because she doesn't know that Lydia already knows the truth? Which means Allison could know the truth right now and be hunting you by the next full moon?" Stiles questioned, nearly loosing his mind due to his friends stupidity.

Scott looked a bit confused, then he frowned.

"Hmm, well you're life is about to get harder." Stiles gestured behind Scott.

Scott turned around to see Tenko looking across the cafeteria. Scott followed his eyes and discovered that Tenko was holding gaze with Allison. Allison seemed tense and keen on talking to him. But she didn't move, she was worried that if she looked away to pack her things, Tenko would vanish.

Tenko, on the other hand, had a very nonchalant look. He then looked away from Allison and his eyes landed on Scott and Stiles before he walked away to find a table by himself.

Allison rushed to gather her stuff and moved to Tenko's table. She stared at him for a moment, then said, "You were at my house last night. And you had swords on your back."

"Ninjatos. But yes, so what?"

"So what? My dad and Aunt were armed to the teeth and then my mom went to grab a shotgun. What's going on, Tenko?"

Tenko smiled at Scott and then moved closer to Allison. He whispers, "Our families have a shared history. A long connection, that I feel you should talk to your father about."

"My parents, my aunt, my best friend, and I think my boyfriend are all liars. So, I'm asking you. You don't know me, I get the impression that you don't like me, so whatever it is that everyone is 'trying' to protect me from, you shouldn't have a problem telling me." She said.

Allison looked extremely irritable. The creases on her forehead gave the impression that her was turning nonstop and she was at her wits end with everyone around her. Tenko sighed grabbed Allison by the arm. She tried to pull away with a startled face, but Tenko held her with half of a smile on his face.

Scott was about to leap from his table but Stiles stopped him. "He can't do anything to her, Scott. At least not here. If you go over there, you're only going to cause problems for yourself. Or ar you forgetting the time he broke your arm, ribs, and jaw."

"Who did that?" Lydi asked the boys.

Lydia had returned to the cafateria to Allison about the alpha. She had decided that it was the least she could do for her new bestfriend. And if Tenko didn't know already, she could help by finding out if Allison and her family were really hunters. Though, when she walked into the cafeteria she saw Allison and Tenko talking. She then noticed Scott and remembered that he had super hearing.

She walked to Stiles and Scott with the intentions of spying but when she got there. Stiles had said something that disturbed her. Looked at her and then he put his head down. But, Scott was feeling petty at the moment and told Lydia about how Tenko had assualted him and has been threating him ever since.

Tenko laughede at the boys and he just winked at Lydia. She didn't know how to feel, but she knew that Tenko could hear what Scott was saying and he still had the gall to wink at her.

Allison noticed that Tenko's attention had shiftd. She then turned around to see Lydia, Stiles, and Scott staring at her. She began to feel uncomfortable. Not wanting to give them the wrong impression, Allison tried to get up but was pulled down by Tenko.

He then pulled out a sharpie marker and wrote on Allison's forearm. He locked eyes with her and softly kissed her well manicured hand.

"Jusqu'à la prochaine fois, mademoiselle Argent." Tenko the rose from his seat and walked away.

Allison knew enough from french class to know, that Tenko wanted to see her again. Most likely outside of school sometime, most definately away from prying eyes. She stared lingerly at his back as he left and then looked at the ten-digit number written in red ink on her forearm. She suddenly caught a glimpse of Scott forwning at her and she moved to cover arm with her things before she left the cafeteria in haste.
