"See you soon, Nanny Ann." Elle said as she and Drew got out of the mansion. They headed towards Drew's car that was parked outside the yellow gate of the Smith's mansion. "Bye, Mr.Sander!" Drew waved at the guard. Elle just smiled sweetly at their family's loyal guard.
"Whoah, Drew! We'll use your car again. Why not my car?" she suggested, smiling. It's bigger than yours," she teased. Elle owned a white SUV Mercedes Benz. It was her Dad's birthday gift to her when she was sixteen. "Okay okay, Elle, I'll leave my car here but I'll be the one to drive your car on the way to Ridgeland, back and forth." Drew said, smiling broadly. She just nodded with a grin. "Mr. Sander, please hand me the car key." Elle ordered politely. "Okay, Miss Elle," Mr. Sander obeyed. Andrew opened the gate to park his car in the garage. After awhile Mr. Sander handed the key to Elle. Andrew took it and started the engine. They drove out of the McVille on a sunny Saturday morning.
Elle turned the music up and sang at the top of her lungs. She has been always good in singing, won many competitions in Dale City and competed some major cities in Chesterland.
Drew stopped by the gasoline station for a full tank. They bought several chips and drinks in the convenience store and started to drive for Ridgeland for three hours straight. That was their favorite place to go every summer when their parents allowed them to go by themselves since Eighth Grade. They gave them freedom because they always excelled in Academics and extracurricular activities. And for 2 years they had their escapade ever!
