Elle stayed home for the last remaining week of July. She did not touch her laptop. Watching television, eating her favorite food and sleep she engaged herself while staying home. She just muted her phone. And Andrew knew it ever since about that alone time for Elle. He would not manage to disturb because he respected her. And he knew how Elle would be pissed off. Andrew just stayed home also, played video games and rested too. James kept on calling Elle. But mostly she was downstairs in the living room and her phone left upstairs. She did not mind. All she thought was to be free from everything. No gadgets. Just food, sleep, tv and music. She had chitchat with her parents when they were around with her. Sometimes, she spent her time on their big swimming pool in the morning. She enjoyed that one week alone time. On weekend, her family went out for dinner and attended church together.
Sunday night came when Elle prepared her things for the first day of classes the following morning. She checked her class schedule and she remembered Andrew's that they were classmates in all subjects. They were Freshmen so they had blocked schedule. Everything was settled, she put her gray Nike backpack on her desk. She prepared her clothes to wear. Since she was in Freshman year, one month she would wear her civilian attire. "And I'm ready for tomorrow!" She told herself with an encouraging smile as she glanced on the mirror. She went to her bed and took a good night sleep.
