Elle woke up early in the morning. Sun had not risen yet. Her parents woke up early too. They were excited for the first day of class of Elle at Phoenix University. Mrs. Bess Smith made her family a delicious breakfast. Elle took a shower, dressed herself with the clothes she prepared last night, combed her hair then she went downstairs for her breakfast. "Good morning, Mom, Dad. Good morning, Nanny Ann!" Elle greeted them as she entered the dining room. "Good morning, Elle!" Her parents greeted her in chorus. "Good morning, Miss Elle!" Nanny Ann said, smiling. The Smith's family ate breakfast together. Suddenly Mr. Jerry Smith said, "I'll give you your allowance before you go to school." "Thanks Dad!" Elle replied, smiling. It was past six o'clock in the morning and her class started at eight o'clock. She ate in focus. Then she said, "I'm going upstairs now, fix myself." "Okay, sweetie. Prepare yourself well double check your things and your schedule too," Mrs. Bess Smith reminded her with a smile. "Yes Mom, I will," Elle responded. She went upstairs. She brushed her teeth, combed her hair again, put a little lipstick. She put her phone inside her bag, got her car keys and closed her door and went downstairs. "Mom, Dad, I'm going now," Elle said as she saw them sitting on the sofa. "Here Elle for one week allowance. Spend wisely okay," Mr. Jerry said, handed her $100. "Thank you Dad, okay I will spend wisely," Elle agreed, smiling. "I have to go now, Dad, Mom, before traffic starts," Elle said, kissing her parents' cheeks. "Take care, sweetie." Mrs. Bess Smith said. "Thanks, Mom. You too, Mom and Dad take care," Elle said, putting her bag on her back. She got out of the mansion and said, "See you later, Nanny Ann." "Enjoy your first day, Miss Elle," Nanny Ann said as she stopped watering the plants. Elle smiled and she hopped right up in her car, started the engine and drove out of the garage.
Elle headed off to Phoenix University. She parked her car beside the guard house. She grabbed her bag and went to Az Building where her first class located. "214, here you are," Elle said as she glanced at the number painted on the top of the doorway. She entered the room with few students and suddenly, "Elle, we are classmates!" "Hi Karen Lee!" Elle greeted her high school classmate, decided to sit on the second row next to the isle. It was thirty minutes past seven and Andrew wasn't here yet. Elle wondered. She reserved a seat for him next to her. "Can I sit beside you, Elle?" Karen asked shyly. They were both classmates since Seventh Grade. Karen was kind and in honor roll too but Elle was not close to her. Karen got friends with others. Before Elle could reply, Andrew suddenly said, " Good morning, Elle." Elle greeted him back. Andrew sat beside her as she pulled her bag away from his chair. "Karen, you can sit beside Andrew," Elle responded, smiling. Karen agreed. She transferred beside Andrew. "Whoah! I'm in between the two girls," Andrew said, laughing. "Elle, you sit here on my chair. I'll be on your seat," Andrew commanded. Elle smiled and obeyed anyways. She knew how it felt awkward for Andrew to be in between and one thing, there were two remaining chairs in their row, waited to be filled in so it was fine for Elle to be on second chair from the isle. The three of them seated while waiting for the Professor to come in.
