"Oh James! What did you and Dad talk?" Elle asked as he entered the Music room again. He saw Andrew stood on the wall where Elle had left him. He sat on the couch and so did Elle. "Andrew, what are you doing there? Come, join us here!" Andrew said, smiling. Elle smiled at Andrew as she asked James' conversation to her Dad. "Ah, he just asked about my relationship with Uncle Adam, asking about Stanley."James said. He seated across Elle then suddenly Andrew came near them. He sat beside Elle. "Miss Elle, here are your snacks." Nanny Ann said as she entered the room. "Thank you, Nanny Ann. By the way, this is James." Elle said. She introduced him to her nanny. "Nice meeting you, Sir." Nanny Ann said, smiling. "Nice to meet you too, Nanny Ann." James smiled back. "Thank you for these donuts, Nanny Ann." Andrew said. He picked a chocolate donut and took his own glass of Coke. "If anything you want, just call me." Nanny Ann said. "Okay, Nanny Ann, thank you, you're the best!" Elle said, smiling sweetly. She got out of the room and left them eating the snacks she brought for them. It was hitting almost sunset. But the conversation was around Elle and James. Andrew kept silent as he listened to their conversation. "Drew, why so quiet?" Elle asked, patting his lap. "I'm just savoring the taste of this donut. No words to say, Elle." He replied, smiling. He did not want to talk whenever James around. He was not comfortable. Like it was so fine when he and Elle were alone together. "It's all my fault I introduced him to Elle during that last day in Stanley." Andrew thought to himself. "I just want Elle to be around me not with James." He thought again. "Are you okay, Andrew?" James asked. "Yup. Maybe I'm just tired from the whole practice." Andrew replied, smiling. But inside his head it was a lie answer. He was not tired. He wanted James to go home now. "Ya, that was so tiring." Elle agreed. "Final practice next Saturday," James announced. "Elle, I have to go now. Thank you for today." James said. He stood up. "Thank you for coming and for the cooperation, James." Elle said, smiling. "Andrew, I gotta go. See you around school, Elle." James said. "Okay, drive safely." Elle answered. Andrew smiled at him as he waved goodbye.
"What's wrong with you, Drew? You had few words around James." Elle blurted out as she played her favorite FM station, Magic FM. "I had no words to say, Elle. I felt uncomfortable when he's around us." Andrew confessed. "But before you initiated conversation with him." Elle was confused. "That was before. He was not a threat to me." He pulled her beside him and stroked her hair. "He's not a threat, Drew. You know we have mutual understanding. Why are you so worried?" Elle waited for his reply but instead of words, he quickly kissed her. Elle pulled away after kissing him back. "I don't want Dad or anyone to see us kissing, Drew." Elle said seriously. "When you turn 18, I'll tell your Dad about my feelings for you." Andrew said with a serious look on his face. "I'm scared, Drew." Elle said, covering her face. "Why scared, Elle? We've known each other since we were seven years old. From that time until now, our friendship is good. It's not my fault that I love you more than a best friend, Elle. My heart beats for you. Only you, Elle." Andrew said as he cupped her hands in his. Elle just stared at him, speechless.
