Chapter 49 A Night To Remember

Throughout the celebration of Elle Smith, the Candles and Treasures took place after the dinner. Plenty of deliciously sumptuous food had been served. The visitors got satisfied with the good services of the waiters and waitresses, especially the food being served for them.

Elle Smith got emotional when all her female friends and classmates rendered messages as each of them lit the candle. She thanked them for the beautiful and inspiring statements. Finally, the eighteen treasures took place, Elle expressed her gratitude and appreciated the gifts they gave her with all her heart. She could not ask for more. She had every good thing in life. All she wanted for them was to be happy, healthy and safe all the time. Before the dance party began, Elle Smith stood up and walked towards Mr. Ed Gibson. She smilingly took the microphone with her own initiative and faced the crowd with a big smile. "Before we end this celebration with a dance party, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you all for this beautiful night we have together. To the eighteen Candles and Treasures, thank you for your inspiring messages and gifts, I could not ask for more. I'm blessed! To the eighteen Roses, thank you all for that memorable dance together. To my parents, Mom and Dad, thank you, thank you, thank you so much, I love you both! To everybody behind this celebration, thank you so much! And most especially to God, from the depth of my heart and soul, thank you so much for giving me another year of life, I'm so grateful and blessed! Let's start the dance party now, everyone! Enjoy and go home later with happy smiles on your faces!" Elle said happily. She returned the microphone to the Emcee. While she walked towards her parents where they seated, Andrew held her hand and said with a gorgeous grin, "Let me escort you, my beautiful princess!" "Sure my handsome prince!" Elle sweetly smiled at him. They both walked together while in a far away distance, James watched them.

The music started playing in a blast. Elle Smith chose R&B, Hip-hop and Mellow songs for the dance party. The dance floor was filled with more Phoenix High students. They were more closed to the birthday celebrant. The floor was full of screaming joys as they danced L.A. walk together when the music turned into Buttercup. Elle together with Andrew on her side perfectly finished it with excitement. Then, the music became Perfect, Andrew took Elle's hand. Only few remained on the dance floor. Some visitors went back to their tables. "Whoah, Drew! We are at the center." Elle said, laughing softly. "I don't care. As long as I'm dancing with the beautiful woman in my life. I love you so much, Miss Elle Smith!" Andrew said as he looked intently at her eyes. Elle smiled and said, "I love you too, Mr. Andrew Jones. Don't kiss me here. Everyone's watching." Elle grinned. Andrew disobeyed her and as soon as the song of Ed Sheeran finished, he planted a quick kiss on her lips. They both left the dance floor and went to her parents table. The celebration ended, Mr. Jerry Smith thanked all the visitors for coming. Some of them asked permission to leave. James went near them to say goodbye. It was past one o'clock in the morning when the party ended. "Thank you for coming, James." Elle said, smiling at him. "My pleasure, Elle. I gotta go, Sir, Ma'am." He told her parents. "Thank you, James, drive carefully." Mrs. Bess Smith said and smiled. James smiled back and went away.
