"Kean! Dinner's ready!" Jean said knocking on my door.
"I don't want to eat! Just leave me alone!" I told him.
I heard him sighed heavily and just left.
Hugging my pillow on my bed with the lights turned off, this is just how it always feels. Everything is just as dark as it is right now.
Even if i'm hungry and want to eat, Sean would be after me and beat me up. So i locked up myself inside this room. I could already feel my stomach growling, but i really don't want to see Sean right now.
Not that i'm afraid he'll beat me up, but i'm sick of seeing his face.
"Ugh..." i curled up like a ball resisting my hunger.
Now this is just depressing. Thinking of how i was acting and thinking earlier...
I was definitely childish.
I should've just shut my mouth. I'm hungry as hell because i didn't had lunch too. So i just tried to fall asleep.
But with all this hunger, i know that's impossible.
I went to my bathroom and searched my medicine cabinet, and it was still there, my sleeping pills. I used to have trouble sleeping so i had to buy these.
I took one... two pills and swallowed it. After that, i went back to my bed and closed my eyes waiting to sleep.
"...wakey-wakey Kean! I baked some muffins!" Then i smelled a sweet scent that made me feel even more hungry. I opened my eyes and i was inside of Sasha's house.
She was actually infront of me holding a freshly baked muffin. It smells really good. "Here, you're probably hungry with your stomach growling loudly."
"T-Thanks..." i ate the muffin, and it was so damn good!
"Is it good?" She asked.
"Good?... it was the best thing i tasted so far!" I told her.
Then she smiled like the usual. "Wanna go take a walk? You seem like you need some fresh air." She offered.
I just nodded and walked with her.
We were just silent at first, i was really enjoying that peaceful moment until Sasha suddenly said something. "Why were you crying, Kean? Did something wrong happen?"
Did she just read my mind?
I answered anyway. "Yeah, but... i don't want to talk about it. It's... just pathetic." Literally.
Unexpectedly, her hands grabbed mine and had our fingers intertwined. "Come on, i'm your friend Kean. You can tell me anything."
I wanted to refuse.
I don't actually want to talk about it...
But Sasha is really something else. With her, i really feel at ease. Even if she's just some part of my dream. "I... Do you think i'm pathetic, Sasha?" I asked her.
She was surprised to hear what i said, but her face quickly changed into a gentle smile. "You were never pathetic, Kean. You're a wonderful person, you're kind, you're fun... because you're my friend, Kean."
Her words were soothing.
The intoxicating feelings vanished, and my eyes started to tear up again. "Sasha... thank you, for being my friend."
Her gentle smile will always be marked on the back of my mind. "Your welcome." She said as she laughed sweetly.
