Living in the Mansion pt 1

"It's good to see you in a good mood" said Charles when he saw Jean enter his office in the morning.

The redhead behaved a little embarrassed, as she got up early to choose her best dress, but she couldn't decide making her end up being late.

"Sorry professor, but my alarm clock didn't work" Jean explained as she used her fingers to remove a lock of hair from her face.

Charles could guess that something had happened to Jean, but it was good that they all had some secrets, so he did not delve into that topic.

"Then you should be more careful tomorrow, so for now let's start where we left off yesterday" said Charles as he was glad for the change in Jean.

Alex got up at noon, sleeping was one of the few pleasures that Alex had, since he never had nightmares, just a dream where he floated in nowhere, but that moment of peace was relaxing, especially when someone would wake up with pain in whole body.

"At least the sleeping pills still work." Alex rose from his bed using his powers, as many bones and muscles were still broken, but nothing too serious by Alex's standards.

Continuing with his new routine, the silver-haired man went to the bathroom to take a shower and to put on new bandages that would cover 90 percent of his body, his head being the only place intact in good measure, except for a scar on his chin.

Alex was already used to the mansion, and although Charles told him that if he agreed to stay, the professor showed him his laboratory with technology that he would not see in many places.

But being as he is, Alex refused, he will leave when he will improve, so the silver-haired went to the kitchen where his food was prepared, normally Ororo took care of that task. But it was obvious to Alex that there were quite uncomfortable vibes from Ororo, but as long as it didn't affect him then it didn't matter.

With Alex's second on the list, he went to meditate before beginning his experiments, and since only a magician could understand what Alex was trying to do, there was no reason to hide it.

After an hour of meditation, Alex took out a box that had various materials, such as copper, silver, ceramics, some gold, but the most peculiar thing was a silver-colored metal piece with golden touches that was stained with blood, that was a piece of the gold and platinum alloy that helped save Alex's life, although that piece had specifically pierced his diaphragm, and Charles removed it during the operation.But it was a good material to experiment with, since different materials would have different effects, and now Alex experiences some regret of not bringing the bullet that almost killed him, but the first thing was to experiment with the basics, and the silver-haired man forgot that topic.

Jean went to Alex, but first she had to change her dress again, luckily she found a green dress that her mother had bought her the day before coming to the mansion.But while she was walking, Jean was nervous, yesterday she discovered that Alex was her age, and that made her a little nervous, since she was the first person of her age with whom she had a conversation, and Jean definitely did not want them to think that she was weird.

But the redhead kept rambling as she toyed with her long red hair as she got going.

But Jean took a little longer than expected, since she couldn't muster up the courage to talk to Alex, although Jean didn't want to think about it, she was embarrassed why yesterday she hadn't even combed her hair, giving her a little heart attack when she realized by the time she returned to her room.But a part of her wanted to think that maybe it didn't look so bad, since Alex had no reaction, or any comment, so with renewed morale, Jean took courage while taking the first step.

Alex had finished the preliminary work, and only the telepath needed to arrive, but the silver-haired man noticed that Jean was doing a few laps, and only after 30 minutes Alex saw her approaching.

Alex hadn't noticed it yesterday, but today Jean seemed like a completely different person.

Yesterday most of Jean's hair was hiding her face, and the only striking thing was her emerald green eyes, but today Alex had a much clearer view of Jean's features. Her emerald eyes were framed by her fine eyebrows and long eyelashes, small and fine nose, where her pink lips stood out on her pearly white face where a small tint of red color slightly tinted her cheeks.

Alex is many things, but he always tries to follow the path of chivalry at the right times, and it was obvious that Jean had made changes, and it was easy to guess why.

Once the distances between the two teenagers was only a few feet, a silence surrounded the environment.

Jean did not have the courage to start the conversation, but her face was quite expectant with overt tones of fear.

Alex was ready to praise Jean's looks directly, but that could be mistakenly taken, as the silver-haired boy made no comment yesterday.

But it was easy to find a quick way out after thinking about possible interpretations of possible answers.

"Green really suits you, it matches well with your eyes, you should use that color more often" Alex said as he sat down again.

Jean really didn't know what to expect, she didn't know why she had arranged herself so much, but she was definitely happy to be praised."I guess you're right," Jean had regained quite a bit of confidence, so it was easy for her to continue the conversation, "But we should focus on the experiment," Jean said as she sat down and looked in the opposite direction from Alex.

The silver-haired man did not care about her behavior, he took out some notes and handed them to Jean, "Try to memorize this, before starting."Jean picked up the sheets immediately as she tried to hide her embarrassment at Alex's compliment.

Don't hate me for the short chapter, nor when I try to squeeze out your power stones.

It will be 3 quiet chapters before Alex tries to get filthy rich.

I also thought about bringing Magik from another universe, to put the travel bases in the multiverse, but I guess it will take time.

I think that short chapters I will have enough stability to upload one every day.
