Like every normal girl, Andrea had a picture of her dream man, a prince charming with a generous heart and brave mind, who will love her. But some things that life plans for us are easier to deal with than others. Sometimes the calm is an indication of a storm.

Destiny always has another plan...One day she meets someone.He became her greatest enemy. He was the Crown Prince Leo Smith of City K. He wanted his estate to grow. When a thing goes stagnant there is no purpose of it, growth and change were his two keywords.

Even though the kings have lost the rights to rule, they still have the power and money. And according to him those two things can make or break you. This drive to thrive and take over the world has made him selfish, ruthless, manipulative and conniving. He had everything a modern day prince should have looks, money, power and a tag of a bachelor.

These two very different people are destined to meet. One of them is coal unpolished, unpretentious and ordinary. Another is a Kohinoor among the diamonds polished, sparkling and exceptional. Who will affect whom in what way is yet to be seen. This is their story of love and every other emotion that comes with it. What will happen when coal is brought into diamonds by fate?

Can You See My Heart

Leo was fuming with rage, he was ready to give Becca a piece of his mind, but suddenly someone came and pulled his phone away from him.


Andrea disconnected the call before anyone could answer. Seeing Andrea's face, Leo immediately calmed down. Andrea put her file on the table and made herself comfortable on Leo's lap, "Leo, I'm bored! Entertain me!"


"Princess, do I look like a clown from the circus who will do tricks to make you laugh?" Andrea pouted her bite lower lip and nodded.


Leo pulled her closer and whispered in her ear, "By the way...I do know a couple of tricks that will make you very happy."


Andrea knew exactly what he meant, she quickly got off his lap. "You Devil child!!! 24/7  only these things run in your head."


"Oh! Me devil child? Then you are devil's daughter in law!!!" 


Both burst into laughter but stopped when they heard someone clear their throat behind them. Both swallowed hard when they saw who it was.


"Uncle," Andrea said with a slight smile on her face.


"No no...call me, devil!!" King-Smith laughed. Leo and Andrea looked at each other and they also laughed.


Andrea bowed in front of King-Smith and greeted him. King-Smith also greeted her back. He had never seen Leo this happy before, he knew that the reason behind Leo's happiness is Andrea. 


This was the first time King-Smith was genuinely grateful for having Andrea as his daughter-in-law. Seeing Leo's smile of contentment, all his hatred towards Andrea disappeared.


"Dad, you here, Is everything all right?" Leo asked.  


"Yes Leo, everything is fine...actually let Jennifer come, then I will tell you everything."


Andrea left the study room and came back with a servant, brought tea and snacks for King-Smith. Andrea poured tea for him.


While having tea King-Smith noticed Andrea's file on the table. Thinking that it was something dealing with Leo's hotel business, he looked through it.


"Dad, this is Andrea's," Leo moved to take the file away but was stopped by Andrea.  


"No Leo, it's fine. In fact, I would like Uncle input on that project."


King-Smith was thrilled about the idea of mining in City D, "It's a great idea...I wouldn't mind adding my name to this venture!"


"Dad, please stay out of it... it's a terrible idea!"


Andrea was shocked that Leo disagreed with his father. Leo turned to Andrea, "Princess, mining in City D will be the worst thing for the people of City D."


"No Leo, this project will be creating jobs for so many unemployed people."


"I know that it'll be creating jobs but what about the health risks. People will get ill- working for long hours in harsh conditions underground.  A man like Stanley Phillips is only concerned with filling his own pocket, he will not care for the miners and their health issues. He'll pay them minimum wage and work them like animals. Is that what you want for your people?" he asked angrily. 


Andrea got scared. Leo calmed down and held both her hands in his, "Princess, one day this mining project will backfire and everyone is gonna point fingers at you. I don't want that to happen, so it's best if we stop this now while it is still in the planning process."  Andrea agreed.


"Hey everyone," chirped Jennifer, she hugged the three members of her family lovingly.  


"So, tell me why the sudden family meeting?" she asked curiously.  


"I have good news for you," her father said excitedly, "I have found the perfect boy for you to marry!"
