Prince Noah

"What!! No way Dad...I'm not ready to get married..." Jennifer turned to Leo while making a puppy face, "brother, say something."

Leo was in shock with the announcement his father just made. When Andrea saw Leo is not saying anything, she nudged him to respond. "Yeah, Dad...Jennifer is right...you just can't tell her that you found a partner for her and she must get married now."

"And I'm still studying, there's no way I'm giving that up...just to become somebody's wife."

"If you two are done, can I talk?" King-Smith didn't get a response from either of his children, so he continued, "I didn't say Jennifer will get married this very minute. Of course, she can continue and finish her studies before becoming the next queen of City J.

"No Dad, don't tell me, Jennifer is going to marry Prince Noah." King-Smith smiled in affirmation.

"No way!!" Jennifer yelled.

"Lower your voice, Jennifer, don't forget that you are talking to your father."

"Sorry Dad," she apologized. "But I don't want to marry Prince Noah."

"Why not Jennifer? Prince Noah is a very nice guy. I met him in City D...he seems so nice and polite. A real gentleman." Leo frowned at Andrea and she stopped talking.

"Thank you, Andrea, for trying to make Jennifer understand." Andrea was delighted about getting King Smith's approval but the siblings weren't too pleased with her siding with their father.

"Dad, why are you really doing this?" Leo asked not really understand why his dad suddenly came with a marriage proposal for Jennifer.

"I didn't get you, Leo," King-Smith said, acting as if he didn't get what Leo was saying.

"Oh come on Dad. Just a few weeks back, we both went to City J and we finalized a deal with King Jones of City J," Leo said.

"Yes, so what?"

"He was going to give us the most sought after pieces of land in City J, for us to build our new hotel. So...let me guess, in exchange for that land...you are giving Jennifer."

"Is that what you think I did?"

"Yes Dad, that's exactly what I think you did," Leo confirmed.

"Is brother right? Tell me, Dad," Jennifer asked angrily.

"You two have already made up your mind on that...well, don't forget...I am still your father. I have given my word to King-Jones and the two of you are going to damn-well fulfill that promise," he announced, and then continued, "Prince Noah and Jennifer's engagement will be in two months' time when Noah returns from Canada." After saying that King-Smith walked out of the study room.

Jennifer cried uncontrollably as she took comfort in her brother's embrace.

"Don't worry Jennifer...As long as I'm around, you don't have to do anything you don't want to do!" Leo caressed her.

Jennifer looked up at Leo, "You promise brother?" Leo nodded and Jennifer stopped crying. She believed and have trust in his word. Jennifer too, left shortly thereafter.

Andrea was in her room, busy packing when Leo entered.

"Going somewhere, Princess?" Leo asked as he hugged her from behind.

"Yep...I'm moving in with my husband," she replied casually.

"Oh! well, in that case, you don't need that." He pointed his fingers to the clothes, making his chin comfortable on her shoulder.

Andrea pulled away from the hug knowing very well what he meant, she picked the pillow from the bed and threw it on him.

Leo caught it just in time. "Princess, leave all this, we have servants to carry out these chores," he knew that Andrea would want to do her own work.

"Princess, can you tell me why you were taking the side of that Prince Noah downstairs."

"I like him. He's nice," Andrea shrugged.

"Yeah...I know you think he's nice. I remember when we were in City D, how you were cozying up to him...trying to make me jealous."

Andrea crossed her arms in front of her chest and frowned at him. "I was not trying to make u jealous!"

"Awww Princess, you're so cute when you lie," Leo said as he pinched her nose. She slapped his hand away.

"You were jealous!!" she announced.

"No chance! I wasn't jealous."

"You were!!" Andrea as she picked up another pillow and threw it in his direction.

Leo looked at her and was about to come closer to her but Andrea held his arm and pushed him out of her room and slammed the door.

"Princess, this is not fair," came his reply from the other side of the door. Andrea continued with her packing.

While packing Andrea noticed a shadow and turned around to see that person but before she sees that person, someone jumps from her balcony.

She screamed, "Leo!!!" and quickly opened the door. Leo heard her screaming, he entered her room.

Andrea hugged him tightly, "I saw a shadow and when I turned around to see, that person jumped from the balcony."

Leo called the guards and ordered them to check the premises.

"Don't worry Princess, whoever he was...the guards will find him" he consoled her as she battled to get over the shock.

After a while, a guard told Leo, "Prince we checked the whole area...we couldn't find anyone."

"Can you identify that person, if guards find that person later?" Leo asked.

Andrea shook her head, but in her mind, she knew who it was, 'Damien!!!'
