It has been a week since I got this Attribute. Once I settled down on my disappointment of the underlying nature of this power, I started to appreciate this a lot more. The first two parts are negligible at best, but the last two aspects are where it gets interesting. My body is now able to train a lot longer, more efficiently, and I do not need to eat as much food to maintain my current prowess. I almost feel as if I have become something further beyond human with this level of endurance and stamina growth that I am experiencing.
This power really is amazing! I am sorry to my predecessor on how ungrateful I was in the beginning, but I realized that even with the shitty nature of attracting more attention then necessary, this growth ability is incredible.
To achieve my final goal of escape, I have been honing myself in preparation for my expedition against the Blood Boars. Prime had stated that these boars are the best monster for me to fight if I want to practice my magic power and speed at which I use magic. For the last few days, I have been making sure my equipment is up to par to where it needs to be in order to be both tough enough to endure a fight, and flexible enough where I could still move around. The time I spent before that was dedicated to practice using my magic power and improving all my skills that I have acquired. In addition, I have also been practicing the use of Primordial Instinct and Charm to familiarize myself with the use of Unique Attributes. I mainly wanted to see what Charm could do for me during battle, and I found that the third option of maintaining my physical condition helps me keep my rate of physical growth at a constant. This means that even during battle, the increased progression of my Primary stats can remain balanced. For my Primordial Instinct, this was a difficult task mainly because activating it deals a serious toll on my body, to the point I could only use this power for about 3 minutes.
I can confidently say I have mastered the use of it activating on its own as a passive skill, however there is an interval of time where I still feel my senses are adjusting to the environment. This is a negative since anytime that is not focused on the battle at hand is severe weakness that could decide the confrontation in a moment.
In any case, I have been rambling about my new and improved powers to the point Prime was telling me that if I am so confident then I should go fight some Blood Boars. Feeling urged by his declaration, I boldly prepared all my supplies and headed out towards a place where there are Blood Boars.
That brings me to this situation…I am now confronting two Blood Boars at once. What happened to these guys being a bunch of loners?!
(Actually, Blood Boars are commonly found in groups of two. The others that you have found were considered the outcasts. Lone Blood Boars are the minority, and I am unsure of why you assumed they were.)
"Because it made sense depending on their movement and eating habits that I assumed so. Fuck…
(It is your own fault then. You reap what you sow.)
I really hate this guy…however, this situation could be a great training opportunity. If I could learn how to handle multiple opponents at once, my reaction speed and decision making should become a lot better as a result.
At least…that was what I thought a couple of minutes ago…
"THESE DAMN BOARS!!!!!"
These guys are just chaotically charging at me while I am casting my magic against them from a distance and fending them off with my magic imbued sword. Even if their teamwork is ass…two opponents who at least know not to hit each other and to focus directly on me is still tough for me to beat.
One boar persists against me with its stronger attacks using its tusks and head while the other one acts more nimbly so that I would not get the opportunity to garner more room in between us. This is a frustrating situation, but I at least know that I am slowly growing.
My Primordial Instinct has subconsciously activated once and in that time, I was able to move 500 feet away from them, but I was quickly cornered by them once that recoil effect kicked in after the initial activation.
In the middle of my anguish, the blood bears notice my struggling and quickly take the opportunity to counterattack. One charges towards the rear while using a type of strengthening magic of sorts, while the other attacks from the front to draw my attention.
…Naïve bastards…
I jump in the air using my magic at the last possible moment causing them to crash into one another due to their reckless charge. Resulting in the fatal injury of the boar charging in from the front.
"Die, you fat pig!!!!"
I enchant my sword with as much magic as possible towards the remaining boar and roughly slash the head off its body.
…how the fuck did I take these two idiots…simple, they are just plain stupid combined with some bullshit luck.
"…Feels like a bitter victory to me…"
(Yup. You clearly did not deserve to win and only got through with the skin of your teeth.)
…I really hate this guy sometimes…
*Hidden Quest (Boar Hunter) Completed*
…what? How did I complete it?
