Prologue Recap:
Ace is a 19-year-old who always wanted to live in the world of One Piece. One faithful night Ace fell asleep in his apartment but for some reason woke up somewhere completely different. When Ace woke up, he found himself in strange clothes with the appearance of Portgas D. Ace. He soon learned that he was supposed to be in One Piece but because of an unknown error ended up on a strange planet called Obisos. Obisos was a typical fantasy world with mana, however, he learned that the mana in this world has a dark past. As an apology for putting him in the wrong place, Ace was gifted a One Piece System, a magic bag for storage, and the Glint-Glint Fruit of Admiral Kizaru.

As the wind blows through a beautiful grassy plain the only sound heard is the occasional bird chirping. The weather is blue skies with the sun peeking through some clouds making it give off a nice cozy temperature. Looking out at the scene it feels so peaceful that it almost seems like a slight disturbance could ruin the whole thing. Yes, this is truly peaceful-
Suddenly a huge explosion erupts causing the ground to tremble and a cloud of smoke is seen rising from the source of the disturbance. Once the smoke clears, Ace is seen lying on his back wearing Luffy's outfit from Film: Z, sweat rolling down his forehead and breathing heavily trying to catch his breath. He then closes his eyes seemingly trying to concentrate on something. After a little over half an hour, he opens his eyes and stands up. Planting his feet into the ground Ace takes a deep breath and points his finger into an open area. He closes his eyes and begins to focus; three seconds pass and a bright light appears on the tip of his pointed finger. As soon as he opens his eyes, the light from his pointer finger shoots forward like a beam before making contact and exploding with dirt. Ace then falls onto his back again with more sweat and panting this time. He never expected his first mission assigned by the system to be this difficult.
FLASHBACK

Ace looks over his first mission with excitement. Before he starts his mission, he wanted to clear a few things up first.
[System, are the bronze and silver coins currency used in this world? Also, what does it mean by "Part 1/3"?]
[You are correct young master. There are four types of coins used: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum. 25 bronze coins equal 1 silver coin and 25 silver coins equal a gold coin and so on. This mission is special because of its stages. After you complete this first round of objectives you will immediately be assigned another one. After completing all four sets of objectives you will gain a large reward for completing the entire mission.]
Ace got excited about the prospect of a large reward. After all, if the other objectives were as seemingly easy as this one, then he had nothing to worry about.
Ace later learned that he couldn't have been farther from the truth.
After finding a suitable training ground, the system let Ace use a magic item that oddly looked like a tennis ball launcher to train his Logia abilities. However, Ace soon found out that this machine shot random objects of different sizes some being as big as bowling balls.
After taking a bowling ball to the gut for the third time somehow, Ace learned two things: First, he had a strong body as the bowling balls should have hurt more than it did, and he later found that after sleeping his injuries healed substantially.
The second thing he learned was that he focused on the object phasing through him, rather than him phasing through the object. Ace knew that if he didn't fully understand what it meant to be a 'Light Human' he could not accomplish this task and would struggle with future ones. He realized he needed to study more deeply into the idea of light and its properties
Luckily it seemed that the ball of light had provided an endless supply of textbooks and research papers about light in his bag once he got his fruit. Ace thought back to the words of the ball of light remembering it mentioning that the system wouldn't replace hard work.
Even though he didn't go to college, Ace was very intelligent for his age and managed to learn a good amount of information in only two weeks. With a better understanding of light itself, Ace began phasing through the objects slowly but surely. Although it wasn't perfect as he still got hit by some objects, Ace had made huge improvements from when he originally started. On the eighth day of training, Ace received a message from the system showing his hard work paying off.
[OBJECTIVES COMPLETE!
#1- BECOME FAMILIAR WITH BEING A 'LIGHT MAN' {COMPLETED}
CLAIM REWARDS: Y/N?]
Ace quickly accepted his reward and was told the items were put inside his magic bag. A grin was seen on his face as he was happy that the tough training he went through was finally over. If only he knew that the training would get much more difficult from here on out.
