First Encounter

Cold, everything was cold.

Charles woke up in the middle of a forest soaked to the bone. It just had to raining at that time. He thought to himself as he stood up. He checked the bag he apparently had. He found ten normal Pokéballs and a single Luxury ball.

The black pokéball glistened Charles pressed the gold button from the spiral of red, black, and gold came out an Aron. The small Pokémon barely reaching his knee looked to him with wonder.

Ain't that the cutest? The Aron responded with it holding on to his shins. What could the Lil guy-or girl want, since Aron line of evolution nearly has no difference in the looks department, If only there was a way to find out. A pop similar to the notification sound from a messaging app startled Charles.

He looked at the small white box that resembled the Luxury ball's design seemingly floated at eye level.

Welcome to the world of Pokémon!

It was what the blue box had said- ahem had written. It was lucky since Charles, as much as he loved the Pokémon franchise got sick of the introduction to the world of Pokémon. Who could blame him? The skip function wasn't added until 2109 when Grievous Platinum came out. It was better for veterans that played the old games. And he is rambling to himself, soaked till the bone, and alone with his Aron.

He really needed to fix that.

He noticed the [Notification] had a blinking button saying [Examine Aron?] written. Of course, He had to press the button. After a quick blip, a new line of text appeared.

Name:?

Species: Aron

Type: Steel|Rock

Nature: Brave

Gender: Male

Current Mood: Idyllic

Level: 5

This makes it convenient for Charles to know his little buddy was a Lil dude. Ok, now all Charles had to do was to give him a name and get to shelter.

The rain began to pour harder as the winds began to pick up. This wasn't good if this was a typhoon he had to find shelter and the sooner he did the better.

"Come on, Aron."

"Aaah!" a screamed came from the forest. It was no Pokémon cry and Charles had literally just spawned in a few minutes ago. He tried carrying the Aron.

Fuck, forgot Aron weigh around 60 kg(132 lbs).

Charles wanted to run, he couldn't risk his second life for someone he didn't know. He had to leave them, right? He began to pace away from the forest to the beaten path.

The screams began to sound desperate, begging for someone to hear them, to save them. Whoever it was they wanted to live.

"Help Me!"

This was Charles' second life, he knew he might not get another chance but he had to help. He, Charles was never the smartest when it came to people, this was true, he was bland and plain as many of his peers called him, He knew that himself but if he learned anything in Shin Megami Tensei and their 5 Persona games. No one wanted to be alone, No one wanted to die alone. If he was going to die saving someone they fuck it.

He placed the armor Pokémon down and knelt down.

"I know we just met bud," He began patting his gunmetal stubby-legged companion." But I need your power. Can I ask you about it?"

Blue eyes met brown with a raise of one of its stubby legs and a seeming nod of affirmation.

This brave little tyke was willing to help me Charles smiled he knew what to name his little brave companion.

"Let's Go, Camelot!"
