Clues

Hey Guys, Author here, just to tell you that I found that the name Arthur didn't stick well with the story as it is not a Devil name, I'll change his name in all chapters to Azrek from now on, thanks for your support.

Enjoy your stay!

------------------

After another six months of research to find how to surpass the bottleneck he had encountered, Azrek still didn't find anything useful in the library. Of course, he had not even read one-tenth of it.

Even though he didn't find anything about the bottleneck, he found some clue about how to create a memory storing spell.

Like humans, only small parts of the brain were exploited by demons, and even though it was still a lot more than normal humans, it still had a lot of room for development.

Azrek had theorized that if he managed to stimulate the unused part of his brain, he would be able to create something similar to a sub-brain to which the only task would be to store and order his memories.

The only reason he didn't try was that he wasn't sure if this manipulation would create another personality, thus he decided to continue doing more research.

During the six months, his magical power continued to grow at a very slow rate, thus he didn't even reach the Mid-Level of a High-Class Devil.

What Azrek wanted to do at the moment was to collect information about potential human to reincarnate as demons when he got his Devil Pieces.

And even though he had already found some candidates, they were only at the lowest requirements of what he could accept in terms of capability, either possessing high intelligence or high physical strength, thus making it easier for them to become stronger in the future.

Azrek wanted to get human subordinates in priority because they had a chance to possess a Sacred Gear, thus making their potential and strength on the same or a slightly lower level as pureblood Devils.

Unfortunately, if a Sacred Gear wasn't awake, it was practically undetectable, it could be sensed if the possessor was not too far from him, but it was impossible to accomplish at the moment as he was not even five years old.

Aside from that, Azrek had started to learn how to play chess from the book in the library, practicing every day either with his mother or his father.

His mother was a Devil considered very close to the Ultimate-Class while his father was an Ultimate-Class Devil, thus they both had their peerage, amongst them, he met a few members, and managed to learn from them some things about magic and physical training.

Unfortunately, once more it was ineffective as the only thing they taught him were things he already knew from the library, no matter what, adults still saw him as a 4 years old kid, and so no matter what.

"Since it has already been one and half a year since I came to this world, maybe it's time I go out a little... Now that I think about it, I've never left this castle before..!" Azrek opened his eyes widely as he thought about that, in less than two years in this world, he had already become a shut-in who never went out of the castle.

It wasn't that he was never invited, on the contrary, as a member, and Heir of the Dantalian Household, he was invited at each gathering of high-ranked Devils, it was just that he never bothered to go as he was fully absorbed in his training.

'Now that I thought about it... wasn't there a gathering in which mother wanted me to take part in two to three months... I'll tell her that I went to go this evening.'

Him going to the gathering would probably shock both his parents who were now familiar with there son mentality, due to him being born more clever than others, he had matured a lot earlier and thus wouldn't mix well with other kids his age.

That was the case even before the current Azrek crossed over, the previous Azrek had attended a gathering before but wasn't able to mix well with others, after this events, he had even started to doubt himself a little, but it soon disappeared.

After that event, his parents never forced him to participate in gatherings that weren't important, but this time his mother had especially wanted him to come, thus there should be something that was going to happen.

'Now that I think about it... it's time to make some name to myself amongst the young Devils, thanks to my background, fame will not affect me too much, and it will allow me to create some connections for the future... If I remember well, the kid from the Bael don't possess their Power of Destruction but he will grow to be one of the strongest Devil of his time, someone like that was someone worth befriending for the future, furthermore, he was someone who will come to master Touki in the future, thus if Azrek wasn't able to on his own, he could ask him for his experience in the future.

'Alright, It's decided, I'll go to the next gathering for young devils and go make some friends that will be useful in the future.' After having made a few plans, a large smirk appeared on Azrek's face as he left the library toward the dining room.
