Hey Guys, Author here, just to tell you that I found that the name Arthur didn't stick well with the story as it is not a Devil name, I'll change his name in all chapters to Azrek from now on, thanks for your support.
Enjoy your stay!
------------------
When Azrek reached the dining room, his parents weren't present yet so he had to wait for some time before dinner was served.
It was pretty normal for this to occur as both of them were busy peoples, his mother was spending most of the time with her peerage these days since she had felt that she would be able to become an Ultimate-Class Devil pretty soon in terms of power, thus she was preparing her future Rating Games to assure that her status would follow her strength upgrade quickly.
As for Azrek's Father, he was probably the busiest person in the house, after all, he was still the head of the household, thus all things that happened be it on the outside or the inside of the territory had to known and investigated by him.
Thus, both his parents hadn't had much time to spend with him in the last year, but in fact, Arthur liked it more this way, even though both Azrek's soul were now fused making him feel younger than he was back in his previous life, he still had the mentality of someone adult, it would have been awkward if they were too clingy with him.
After waiting for almost forty minutes, both his parents entered the room together, they both had smiles on their faces when they saw their son already sitting at the table.
Both of them knew that they hadn't been able to spend time with him due to their position, thus they were grateful that he was able to mature as early as he had.
While Arthur never attended another gathering of noble after the last one, both his parents were present at practically each of them, and they had never stopped feeling proud of him while compared to other devils kids, firstly he was extremely talented, to a point that in his whole generation he was practically unreachable, be it in terms of Magic or Physical Strength.
Also, from the time he first awakened the rarest ability of their Ancestors, it was determined that his talents were comparable to the original Dantalion's, thus making him one of the most talented devils in the whole history.
With such a son, both of them felt great pride when they compared children with other devils during gatherings.
From what they saw, although their son spent most of his time alone reading books and training, he was still able to maintain a noble demeanor all the time, thus becoming even greater in their eyes.
The only things that they regretted a little were the fact that he didn't have any friends his age, but they knew what was the cause of that when he was three years old, Arthur wasn't able to control his abilities to read other people's mind, of course only those who didn't have any mental protection, but due to this, he felt that he was very different from other kids when he read through their mind.
Thus they never forced him to attend another gathering again.
After some time spent chatting, dinner was finally served, it was a very luxurious meal with a lot of plates composed of different cooking.
Azrek mannerism was taught to him by his etiquette teacher back in his previous life when he was a kid, being the sole son and heir of a billion dollars conglomerate had its perk, first, he had always attended the best school, had the best teachers, and eaten the best cooking, he also met people of importance since he was young, and the fact that he led the whole group for three years made him develop a prestigious aura.
Thus, he never had any problem integrating with the noble society of the Devils, he was very thankful for this.
"Father, Mother, I'll attend the next gathering that you both wanted me to attend, just tell me one or two days before the time come." For Azrek, this wasn't considered as something important so he just told them about it after some chatting.
But it was a whole different thing for his parents, it was probably the thing they wanted to see happen the most as parents, no one would want his child to be a loner, even more so when he was that young.
"You finally decided to come out with us once more!" His mother seemed to be the happiest he had seen her be in the last year and a half, she had a sweet smile while she looked at him with a bright face.
"Hehe, it's good that you'll come, I'll finally show these brats whose son is a real genius, they didn't believe me last time I told them about your growth." Azrek's father also had a large smile, it would be the second time that Azrek would attend a public event, and he would be able to see the face of the other noble devils when they saw his son.
When Azrek saw how both of his parents had reacted, he couldn't help but let out an exasperated sigh as he looked at them, but he still had a smile on his face, he knew that in this world too, he was lucky to have the both of them as his parents.
The rest of the meal was finished with laughter ranging out of the dining room, surprising the servants as most meals for the past year were mostly silent with only chatter coming from the room because every member of the family was busy on their own matters.
