When Azrek arrived at the place where Young Devils gathered, he saw differents scenes, first was a kid slightly older than him, he had blonde hair and he seemed to be boasting to other Devils with an arrogant face. When Azrek saw him, he immediately knew who he was.
Riser Phenex, the third son of the House of Phenex, Azrek remembered him because he was for a short time the main antagonist in the Novel, but he didn't have much interest in this guy, at least not till he changed himself after being trashed by the Red Dragon Emperor in the future.
Next was a Devil kid standing alone in the balcony, even though he wasn't old, you could still see pride exuding from his body, but he seemed to be a little ignored by others Devils of their generation. He like Azrek had back hair and purple eyes, same as most peoples in the House of Bael, thus his identity was easily determined to be Sairaorg Bael, the Devil who just by hard work and without even possessing his family distinctive magic would rise to the apex of this world in the future.
Two girls also seemed to be departing after having spoken to him, Azrek recognized them immediately, long crimson hair, clear blue eyes, this was the Gremory's House Heiress, Rias Gremory aside from that, she was also the little sister of one the Four Satan, Sirzechs Lucifer.
Walking by her side was another girl, she had short black hair styled in a short bob cut and a pair of violet eyes, she was the heiress of the host of today's gathering and the little sister of one of the other Four Satan, Serafall Leviathan's little sister, the House of Sitri's Heiress, Sona Sitri.
Both of them didn't seem to have the same prejudice toward the members of the Bael, probably due to them being more mature than their peers, the fact that Rias and Sairaorg were cousins should have also helped.
When he saw them coming toward him he nodded at them and walked past them toward Sairaorg.
Both of them were pretty surprised to see someone going toward someone that was basically everyone else, what's more, this person was the same age as them and thus they only went to the nearest table and began to observe what would happen.
Before going to speak to Sairaorg Azrek stopped his mind-reading ability as it wasn't a good method to make friends.
When Azrek was about three meters behind Sairaorg, he decided to take the initiative.
"Suffocating isn't it." After he finished speaking, he supported his back on the balcony and looked toward the sky.
At first, Sairaorg had thought that someone had come to mock him when he heard someone walking toward him, but now he didn't know how to react when he saw someone speaking to him normally even though he had just been announced to not have awakened his clan's power.
"You're speaking to me?" Was the only thing he said in response.
"I don't see anyone else here." Azrek still had a relaxed attitude as he spoke to him, from what he knew, it was probably his last chance to speak to him before a long time as he would soon lose his position as the heir and be sent away in the countryside with his mother.
Sairaorg was surprised when he heard that, all the peoples he used to know from his childhood had started to look at him scornfully with the exception of some peoples like his cousin and a few others, but here a guy he had never seen came to speak to him without mockery.
"Do you know who I am?" Sairaorg asked doubtfully, he was still a kid, in the end, it had been a difficult time for him to adapt to his new situation, thus he still hadn't recovered from his surprise.
"Of course I do, Sairaorg Bael of the Bael Clan."Azrek still had a calm face when he spoke to Sairaorg, he knew nothing about how it felt to be brought from the peak of society to the ground in a single day, but as a former adult he could still understand some things, the feeling of betrayal, the pain, all that he had experienced back on Earth, but it was what made him the man he was before his death.
"By the way, I'm Azrek Dantalion, the Heir of Dantalion." Once he heard both sentences, Sairaorg was a little speechless, the person speaking to him had done so while knowing that he had already lost his status, furthermore, he was someone considered by most people of the older generation as one of the most talented devil, the exact opposite as him who was now considered as trash by even his own father.
"Since you know me, you should know that I won't be the heir of the Bael Clan for long, so why did you come to speak to me?"
When Azrek heard this, he couldn't help but sigh internally.
'It is true that hardship makes one mature faster, being scorned by his own father while being this young...'
"Why wouldn't I, true friends aren't made due to their position, also who said that if you don't have the Power of Destruction you can't become strong, magic isn't everything." Azrek still had a smile on his face as he spoke, he knew full well that magic, while useful, wasn't everything, there were plenty of examples of this, and he knew parts of the future of this world.
Sairaorg looked at Azrek for a while and also turned toward the sky with a smile.
After that, the two of them continued to chat for a long time, Azrek was the only person that didn't look down on him since he discovered that he didn't have the power of destruction, thus Sairaorg was able to return to his normal personality while he was speaking to him.
