An unexpected event happened during Azrek's tenth year. A gathering was hosted by his families and he still didn't know anything about it a week before the event.

As the heir of the host family, he had the obligation to attend the event, otherwise, it would look like he was looking down on other Clans and disrespecting his elders.

Thus Azrek was once more brought away by his mother to select his clothes. Fortunately, his mother now knew what type of clothes fitted him the best which made things a lot easier compared to the previous time.

The day of the event came soon after, Azrek didn't have the obligation to attend the start of the event since he was still a child, thus he continued to read books in the library while the event was beginning.

He was able to continue like this until his mother sent a servant to bring him to the main hall.

When he entered the room, he recognized most of the people here were the same people that came to the gathering of the Sitri Clan, but this time, he also saw something that surprised him a little.

'Alright, this gathering should have a deeper meaning since the Four Satans are also here... In any case, I won't take part in these serious matters before I come of age lets just let things go as they should...' As he looked around the room, Azrek also saw that the adults looked at him in a different manner compared to previously and he could very well think about the reason.

During the last gathering he attended, he displayed some of his power, and thus these peoples now wanted to form ties with his Clan, this could be seen by the fact that most of the peoples who looked at him had daughters of the same age as himself.

In the first place, Dantalion Clan possessed the Rank of Duke, making it a house comparable to the Gremory in terms of Rank, that plus his talent had made him the perfect target for marriage to these few Devils.

Amongst the kids present, he quickly saw Sona once more accompanied by Rias both of whom he nodded in greetings.

Sona seemed to be also looking at him at this moment since she did the same.

When Rias saw her friend nod she turned around to look at who she just replied and saw the person who had spoken with her cousin back at the Sitri Clan.

She already knew who he was since Sona had told her that she was possibly going to be engaged to him, she also knew that he had defeated her future fiancee just by glaring at him when he had wanted to mock her cousin, thus she felt a little conflicted, on a side he had become friendly with her cousin that had been completely ostracized by other kids, and trashed the fiancee that her family had chosen without her agreement, and on the other, he was to become the fiancee of her good friend in the future, and she feared that she also wouldn't have the choice.

Back to Azrek, he had only walked down the stairs when he was surrounded by other young devils, amongst them, some were part of Ryser's group in the past but still came forward to greet him and talk to him a bit.

Azrek wasn't so petty as to reject a kid because he had chosen side and thus replied to each of them with a smile, after some time, he excused himself and went back toward the library discretely without being noticed by his mother.

When he arrived in the hallway, he let out a sigh.

"In a few years such gathering will become interesting, but at the moment it only serves to waste my time... how I hope Mother wouldn't ask me to attend this, I would've been able to think about new spells or practice some chess..." He walked down the hallway as he said to himself.

Soon after he arrived in the garden of the castle and he sat on a bench beside the fountain.

This was one of the places he liked the most in the whole castle, especially so when night came, no sound could be heard and he liked the ambiance around here quite a bit.

Azrek mostly practiced chess around here from late afternoon to the middle of the night before going to bed, thus his chessboard was still around.

Having nothing to do, Azrek started to try to resolve the play his father had left him with.

Azrek had begun asking his father to do this after he had finished reading all the books about chess in the library, it allowed him to apply his knowledge in complex situations to gain experiences.

While he was focusing on the board, he heard some noise from behind him, but he didn't turn around as he knew that it was probably some servants, he continued to think hard about the next play he could make.

While he was focusing, two small shadows appeared in the garden and were surprised to find someone else there... After some time seeing that he didn't turn around, they began to walk closer.

Rias and Sona had come out of the Gathering Room to take a breath outside when they saw someone else had already arrived before them.

"There is already someone here?" Rias asked Sona while pointing her finger toward the center of the garden in surprise.

Hearing this Sona also looked toward the solitary figure also surprised.

Both of them were able to recognize him pretty soon since they had seen him not long ago.

"Sona it seems to be your fiancee," Rias told Sona with a light smile on her face.

"He is still not my fiancee." Sona eyed Rias for a moment before turning back toward the figure.

"Is he playing chess?" Both of them easily recognized the chessboard, since the creation of the Evil Pieces System, Chess had become extremely popular in the Underworld, children of the 72 pillars were also taught chess from their young age.

"It seems so, but I can't see what he is doing from here, let's go say hello to him." Sona didn't have a bad impression of the guy in front of her, after all, he was the reason as to why her engagement was able to be postponed, and since their family had already said that they would speak about it in the future, she didn't receive any new pretendant in this time period.

"Alright." As Rias replied, both of them started walking forward.
