The power of Gale Tray City was enormous, thanks to their ruler, the Battle Mage Academy. No one dares to offend Gale Tray City. The people of Gale Tray city always saw themselves as superior to other powers of the Ash Expanse.
But at this moment, the citizens of Gale Tray City were in an uproar. As their ruler and the most influential power of the Ash Expanse, the Battle Mage Academy has just been destroyed.
The stronger and older ones of the Gale Tray City, although panicked and worried at what happened, afraid that the same thing will fall upon them, also had another thought while seeing the destruction of the Battle Mage Academy.
The portal that leads to the midgrade world and the power that is the real backing of the Battle Mage Academy, these two things appealed into the ambitious people's eyes. After all, although Teacher Dio and the Dean and Vice Dean were strong, they are only three people, so they can still be taken down by flooding them and exhausting their energies using cannon-fodder.
The real reason no one in the Ash Expanse dared to do anything to the Battle Mage Academy was its connection to the midgrade world and the power of the faction that supports it. But now, with the Battle Mage Academy being suddenly destroyed by an unknown individual, the greedy hearts of the people started moving as the power of their ambition radiated through their eyes.
Many of them wanted to head directly into the ruins of the Academy. Either to snatch the portal that leads to the midgrade world. Or just to steal all the resources of the Academy to further their personal and the growth and power of their faction. Still, even though they wanted to do that, they didn't get ahead of themselves less they regret it.
After all, someone who is able to destroy the Battle Mage Academy must have the power of a high-Level Magic Master if not higher, and that kind of existence isn't something they can deal with, so they decided to wait a day before going to the Academy and Leaving whatever scraps that powerful person might have left.
What these people didn't take into account was that Xue Mo doesn't waste resources, so when they get there, they will find nothing but rubble and the empty ruins of the Academy.

Battle Mage academy
Two creatures were going from body to body. These bodies that the two creatures were going through were actually the bodies of the Students, Teachers, and Staff of the Battle Mage Academy. These two creatures Xue Mo and Lu Yao.
Before heading to the Treasure pavilion to raid it, they decided to search through the bodies and the belongings of everyone in the Battle Mage Academy. If they tried this before, Xue Mo and Lu Yao would have needed at least three days to search and plunder everything. But because they have reached the first level of the Foundation opening realm, they had been getting stronger as their 'Heart Core' kept absorbing energy into it. Although this energy wasn't used and Xue Mo and Lu Yao didn't know where it was disappearing, they didn't dwell on a matter that was out of their hands.
Though the energy was disappearing in the 'Heart Core,' Xue Mo and Lu Yao weren't without benefits, as the energy that entered their bodies, was expelling the impurities in their bodies and reinforcing their bodies. This method automatically improved their bodies, which can also be considered a kind of body cultivation.
In only 5 hours Xue Mo and Lu Yao were able to form a mountain of corpses that contained more than ten thousand corpses, composed of students, teachers and Academy staff. Other than the colossal mountain of corpses that have nothing on them anymore, as anything they have that is useful has been stored in Xue Mo's Void Samsara parasite Ring.
After piling the corpses on each other, Xue Mo went ahead with Lu Yao and plundered all the houses and took every book there is in them, not leaving any tattered, old or brand new book.
Searching and raiding all the houses took Xue Mo and Lu Yao just a little more than 2 hours. After all, many things can be taken from the houses. Other than the Elite students, Teachers, and some staff homes that have Workshop rooms, the only thing worth anything in the homes were the books that Xue Mo and Lu Yao took, to make sure that they haven't missed anything or had their book collections incomplete.
Stuffed to the complete with many things, the Void Samsara Parasite Ring wasn't even half full. Deciding to take the bodies for other reasons such as experimenting or using them for other things, Xue Mo filled another portion of the Void Samsara Parasite Ring with bodies.
While Xue Mo was collecting the bodies in the ring, Lu Yao was making plans for them so they can start hunting for food good enough in nourishment, quality and tastes good (Magical and Demonic Beasts). That way, they won't have to waste more time or go in a direction spontaneously. Lu Yao wanted to make sure they got the most out of this world as they can before leaving it.
Lu Yao opened the map that she memorized of the whole Ash Expanse; after searching it carefully, Lu Yao marked five places that they can use to hunt an abundant amount of food with quality and taste to boost.
At the time Lu Yao finished deciding and marking their next destination, Xue Mo was also almost done with collecting the bodies.
After waiting another ten minutes, Xue Mo had completely preserved the dead bodies in the Void Samsara Parasite Ring, and after he was done, Xue Mo let Lu Yao jump on his shoulder where her new resting spot became. Confirming that Lu Yao was comfortable, Xue Mo and Lu Yao, who was resting on his shoulder comfortably, made their way to the Treasure Pavilion, the last stop before they left the Academy for good.
The Treasure Pavilion was going to be the last stop since Xue Mo made sure that everything was Dio, Giorno, and Sakamoto's stuff and placed it in his Void Samsara Parasite Ring.
Making their way to the Treasure Pavilion, Xue Mo and Lu Yao observed their surroundings. Seeing the ruined and destroyed buildings that were the result of either the fight between Theodore and the three oldies or when Xue Mo and Lu Yao destroyed the Academy to scour it for anything that the higher ups might have hidden, too bad they didn't find anything like that.
Xue Mo and Lu Yao arrived at the Treasure Pavilion and started plundering it directly, getting every last treasure, miscellaneous, or anything that might be of help to them.
Although the Ash Expanse was a low-grade world, the supply that came from the power backing the Battle Mage Academy made it have a vast treasury to exploit. Such an example would be the four normal grade space rings and the only middle grade one or the last three mana stones that remained after Xue Mo used two of them, and much other precious stuff.
Lu Yao and Xue Mo didn't hold themselves back and started to pack everything in the space rings they found. Making sure that they cleared everything and hadn't missed a single precious or usable object, only then did Lu Yao and Xue Mo finally exist the Treasure Pavilion.
