Chapter 13

"We have armed security on the rooftop" GMN-3 said from his vantage point.

"Mr Hutton is in a meeting. Those men look like gang leaders, might be the leaders of the two groups" GMN-5 said.

"Who else is in there with him? "GMN-1 asked

"His bodyguards, their bodyguards and a funny looking human male" GMN-5 replied

"Security out front? " GMN-1 asked

"I've counted fifteen. Five stationary and the rest patrolling the perimeter" GMN-2 said

"9?"GMN-1 asked

"Computer does a sweep every twenty seconds, coming to starting point at 30 seconds, we have less than a minute. "GMN-9 replied

"Safest route? " GMN-1 asked

"Second floor, left window." GMN-3 said

"A guard passes there every five seconds. They intersect twice every twenty seconds. So you have approximately five seconds after the next intersection"GMN-9 said

"According to the layout, the basement is a bar and game room. 6 make sure nobody comes out. 7 you locate the power box and wait for my signal. 9 disabled every camera, alarm and other security measures. Get on it now, we need a green before we head in."

"OK" GMN-9 replied

"3 keep an eye on those guys on the roof. 2 those out front. None of them should interrupt, distract them if necessary. I and 4 will go after our targets. 5 alert us if they change their positions even in the slightest. "GMN-1 said

"OK" GMN-5 replied

"Done but we have only a minute before it comes back on. The next intersection comes up in five" GMN-9 said

"Ok. You're our time keeper. Everyone ready?"

"Ready" they all chorused.

"Go! "GMN-9 said.

The four GMNs dashed to the wall with lightening speed and began climbing. They were inside the window within four seconds.

"We are in" GMN-1 said through her communication device.

"You have 50 seconds" GMN-9 replied. GMN-1 signalled to the others to go.

They made it out of the room to the corridor. GMN 6 and 7 headed downstairs while GMN 1 and 4 headed towards the right end of the mansion.

GMN-6 headed downstairs towards the basement. She crossed the kitchen where the cook was preparing dinner. He was slicing something but whatever he was cooking it smelled nice. She quickly crossed him. She turned the corner, she heard voices. She peeped three men were standing outside the door talking. It looked like they were making bets. She used her ears to check, aside from the basement the other human noise was coming from the kitchen. She climbed the wall and went to the ceiling and then headed towards the basement door. She passed above the men but they didn't notice her. She opened the basement door that was slightly ajar and peeped in. Thirty-three men were inside either playing games or watching sports on the various screens. She waited.

GMN-7 made it downstairs and located the power box. It was just before the back door. He locked the door and crouched down waiting for the signal.

GMN 1 and 4 made it to the other side of the mansion without incident. There wasn't much people on the floor except those that were having the meeting.

"35seconds " GMN-9 said

"Now! " GMN-1 gave the signal

GMN-7 turned the power switch off and cut the wire. At the same time GMN-6 dragged the men in without coming down from the wall and closed the door, locking it from outside. She made her way to the kitchen before the cook could scream and made him faint. Using the cover of power loss, 1 and 4 entered the room. 1 went for their main target while 4 went for the other two leaders. They made quick work of wringing their necks sneaking quietly past the body guard who were there to protect them. The bodyguards stood in front of their bosses calling for backup. They stood in front of the chairs that their bosses were sitting down on scanning the area before them in the pitch darkness and did not notice the two GMNs walking out and locking the door behind them.

GMN 1 and 4 made it to the weaponry where 7 and 6 had packed more than half it's contents into large bags they had snuck in with. The bags were compressible when empty and made for convenience.

"22 seconds " they heard GMN-9 say

1 and 4 joined them in the packing and they made quick work of it.

The men were going about their usual business when suddenly the light went off. They knew something was wrong. Those who were outside tried to get in and those who were in the basement tried to get out. The back door was locked and so was the basement. The first group of people who were closer to the front door which was the only door open rushed up to meet their boss. The rest tried the back door but it wouldn't bulge so they had to go around to the front door. Some of the men that rushed in later went to free those trapped in the basement while some others went to check the power box. No one noticed the four teenagers who jumped out of the window and proceeded to walk toward their exit each with three bags five times their size.

The weaponry was on the second floor close to the room with the open window. They packed the weapons into the bags and made their way to the room. GMN 7 and 1 jumped down while the others threw down the bags which they stacked on the ground.  When they were done the others jumped down and they picked up the bags and were out of site before anyone knew what happened. GMN-4 who was the last made sure to close the window for them. 

The men tried to restore power as quick as possible. Those that were remaining downstairs divided themselves while some looked for the culprit, some others looked for sign of forced entry and some others checked the mansion to note what was stolen. Those who went upstairs in search of their boss could not gain entrance because the key of the door was nowhere to be found and the door was too sturdy to break with human strength. Those inside couldn't see anything because they didn't have their phones on them. Due to the confidentiality of the meeting, they were ordered not to bring their phones and they all obeyed. Their bosses seemed to be running out of patience as they sat quietly in their chair, one looking straight into the darkness, the other resting his head on the headrest and the last sitting with his hand around his brandy. This was basically the position they were when the power went off.

Those outside shouted to the others if they were okay and they replied by saying the bosses were angry and losing their patience that they should hurry up and get the power back on so they can continue their meeting. Someone got the spare key and open the door just as power came back on. Those in the room didn't even know they were locked in. They were instructed before the meeting by their various bosses not to leave the room until the meeting was over. When the power went off they were more interested in protecting their bosses in case of any threat so surrounded them rather than head for the door. They had shouted out to their mates for backup.

When the light came back on and the door opened, the men turned to their bosses apologizing and urging them to continue their meeting. One of the men that entered from outside picked up the key of the door, inside on the floor. He was surprised and showed the rest. It was then that they noticed that the heads of their bosses were hanging at weird angles. One of them touched the one closer to him and the body slumped forward lifeless. All hell broke loose.
