Chapter 15

"So this is what a party looks like" GMN-5 said

"Focus will you! " GMN-3 cautioned her

Planning for this auction wasn't an easy task. An event this size meant lots of people, so they had to be careful to avoid unnecessary mistakes.

"Security is really tight" GMN-2 said

"7, any visual on the chip? " GMN-1 asked

"None. It is not in any of the display cases " GMN-7 replied

"Any sign of Casio? " GMN-1 asked

"He's not here" GMN-5 replied.

Things were not going according to plan. The auction should have began an hour ago but so far, nothing. They had carefully planned and positioned themselves but it seemed the whole operation was going to fall through.

"9 anything? " GMN-1 asked

"Nothing" GMN-9 whispered

Great! They had been out for two days they were not going back empty handed.

"Change of plans. Find Casio wherever he is, we need his exact location. "GMN-1said

"On it " GMN-9 replied

"2 ,I need you to get your hands on the VIP guest list "

"What are you thinking? " GMN-3 asked

"This is a big event for Casio and he can't afford any last minute cancellation. My guess is, he's waiting for someone" GMN-1 said

They had recruited themselves as members of staff that would be working that day. GMN 5 and 3 were to act as wealthy auctioneers. 7 was working with the security in charge of auction items. 9 was posing as an IT specialist working with technical crew, he was their eyes. 2 was their man out front who joined the patrolling security. 1 was working with the event planners and busy planning her own event. 6, an attendant in charge of bugging anyone necessary. 4 was on standby in case there was need for back up. It was to be a clean operation. In and out before anyone knew what was happening.

"Someone just arrived with bodyguards"GMN-2 said

"Did they identify themselves? " GMN-1 asked

"No, they were given free passage. Someone came down yo meet them and took them in" GMN-2 replied 

"Okay, keep us posted " GMN-1 said

"He's in his suite." GMN-9 said

"Then we're going there" GMN-1 said

"Hold on! Someone just entered his suite. They just called room service for a bottle of wine"GMN-9 informed 

"6 move"GMN-1 instructed

"Aye aye captain. One bottle of wine coming up" GMN-6 said

GMN-1 instructed GMN-9 to keep an eye on Mr. Casio. She asked GMN-2 for feedback on the guest list. He reported that there were only three VIPs and two had already been cancelled out leaving one.

"The highest bidder. Of course. " GMN-1 said sounding sarcastic.

"The audio from the suite has been turned off. "GMN-9 reported

"Got you covered. Water resistant audio recording device. Told you it would come in handy" GMN-6 said

"What are they saying? " GMN-5 asked

"Hold on" GMN-6 said and patched the feed to their communication device. They could hear the conversation.

"My employer hopes it contains all that you promised" The man who entered said

" I wouldn't dream of deceiving him" Mr. Casio said

"He's not a man to toy with" the man said and dropped a suitcase on the table. He opened it and it was filled with bank notes.

Transaction!

"Time to blow this party. 2 secure our exit. 9 jam all the feeds. 3,5,7 you are on shopping duty. 6 and 4 you're with me" GMN-1 said

The GMNs moved into action. GMN 3 and 5 left the auctioning arena and made their way to the back. Seems the auction will still take place after they finish the most important transaction. Too bad. They met GMN-7 at the door to the room the items for auction was kept. He had the keys, twirling it around his index finger. When he saw them, he unlocked the door and motioned them in with flair.

"Ladies first" GMN-7 said

"How sweet" GMN-5 said playfully and entered. GMN-3 was about to enter but GMN-7 stopped him and said. "Learn from the master" and then preceded him to go inside. GMN-3 just shook his head then entered inside, locking the door.

GMN-5 looked around at the glittering jewels and some artifacts that were supposed to be auctioned. 'Pity' she thought. Rubbing her hands together, where should she start.

"I'll take that and that and also that. Oh that looks nice" GMN-5 said as she moved around pointing at things which GMN-7 promptly put in the bag. She looked around as if she couldn't make up her mind on the next. She threw her hands up dramatically.

"Whatever. Who cares? Let's just take all of them" GMN-5 said.

"As you wish" GMN-7 said and proceeded to park up everything thing. GMN-3 who kept watch at the door through a tiny hole briefly turned back to look at them then turned his attention back to his chore.

GMN 1 and 4 met up with 6 who was leaning on the door of the private elevator leading to Casio's suite with one leg propped up.

"Took you so long" she said pressing a button. The elevator opened and the three entered. She pressed in some combinations as they looked at her.

"What I have better hearing and eyesight" GMN-6 said as she proceeded to bring out an index finger. That raised their eyebrows even 4's because they didn't notice when she did that.

"What? I just borrowed it. I'll give it back" she said with a shrug. The elevator went up and opened at the last floor. They got out. GMN-6 used the nearest painting on the wall to jam the elevator. It couldn't go back down.

They headed toward the suite. They could hear voices. The transaction was complete. They used their eyes to give signal.

"Hope you are done shopping? " GMN-1 asked into the communication device

"Yep" GMN-5 said. She sounded very happy

The door opened.

Mr Casio looked at the large travelling suitcase full of cash.

"And the rest? " Mr. Casio asked propping one leg on top of the other.

"Wired to the accounts you provided, as requested. "

"Very well" Casio said signalling to one of his men who brought forward a smaller suitcase and opened the lid. Inside was a chip and some paper documents.

"These are the information up, as agreed"

"I would have verified but I have been prevented from touching. I hope your word is good. I'll be going " the other man said. He closed the lid and carried the suitcase, standing up.

"Nice doing business " Casio stood too but didn't shake him. The other man just smiled and headed to the door with his bodyguards. He opened the door and came face to face with an emotionless teenager. The last face he ever saw.

It was fast, it was quick. The man opened the door and lost his windpipe. GMN-4 slashed the man's throat using his claws. Those inside who were not directly behind him were surprised when the man fell to the ground. Those directly behind him did not have the chance to react as two females pounced on them. The remaining brought out their guns and started firing.

The GMNs dodged the bullets. The men could not keep up with them as they were fast. They shoot at many furniture and fixtures, but couldn't get any one of them. The GMNs reappeared from where they had previously dodged to escape the worst of the bullets, slashing out on the men closer to them. One of the men attempted to grab the suitcase filled with bank notes, while still holding his gun with his other hand. GMN-6 got to the suitcase before the man 

"I'll be taking that thank you "GMN-6 said

The man pointed his gun at her and fired, she dodged.

"How rude, I'll be taking that as well"GMN-6 said using her other hand to grab the man's hand which was holding the gun. She did it swiftly that before the man could know what was going on, she used him as a human shield blocking the bullet that were aimed at her. As the man fell to the ground, she fired his gun and someone's head went pop.  She smiled, firing more as men dropped like sacks cf potatoes. 

"Human technology, loving it " she said as she gleefully jumped in the fight with her new toy.

Casio had no idea who these teenagers were or who they were working for but he knew one thing, they were killing machines. They had killed majority of his men in record time. The remainder of his men tired to get him to safety but one of the teenagers wasn't having any of that. She grabbed him by the shoulder ,how she got to him in the middle of his bodyguards he did not know but she flung him back with surprising strength. The male teenager caught him. He wanted to thank his stars for not landing on something hard but was suddenly dumped and tied to a chair, the teenager left him and went to finish up his men. He watched as three scrawny looking teenagers finished up his men. The one with the gun quickly ran out of bullets. She looked at the empty thing and shrugged saying

"oh well, it was fun while it lasted " she threw the toy away and continued with her hands.

He saw her make slashing motions with her hands and blood poured. He wondered what kind of device she wore on her hands that slashed the flesh that way. The other two were more terrifying, while one seemed bored, the other showed no emotion as they efficiently disposed his men, sustaining no injury. Their strikes were both confident and lethal as if this fight was beneath them. They finished each man with just one strike, aiming to kill. In less than three minutes more than twenty men have died excluding those that weren't his men. When they were done, they dusted their bloodied hands and turned to face him. He swallowed.

"Our man" the crazy one who had the gun said advancing towards him. He tried to get away but couldn't. He looked down at what was used to tie him. His iron walking stick. He nearly fainted. Who were this people.

"The man that bought the chip, who is he? " the other female asked

Casio refused to talk. If they wanted information then they'll keep him alive. The female looked at him and tilted her head and then smiled. She had a nice smile. The smile disappeared the way it came and she ordered.

"Kill him"

The crazy one grabbed him before she finished.

"Wait! " He pleaded "I'll tell you" he said but she was already gone, searching his suite.

"Don't worry, talk. I'll listen" the crazy one said. The male teenager just stood arms folded, waiting.

"He's Elkadin. A Mafian lord. He is not to be angered" Casio said

"You are doing business with him because? " GMN-6 asked interested

"I need the money" he said and shrieked when he heard a sound. He peeped from around the crazy one to see his table crushed and the safe hidden inside the table exposed. The other insane one packed the contents and put them into the suitcase with the money. So it was information and money they were after.

"I have more money, jewels that would suit a pretty girl like you " he said to the crazy one and she grinned her eyes sparkling

"Really ?" GMN-6 said

This one seems greedy Casio thought. Maybe she was his ticket out.

"Help me and I'll give it to you" Casio whispered. The other female brought his laptop closer.

"Password "

He told her without hesitation. She just turned and finished what she was doing.

"Done" she said and listened before saying again"we need to move" the one leaning on the wall raised himself. Casio looked at the crazy girl, his last hope.

"Listen, you need to help me out of here" he said

"Ok' she said. Casio smile and then spit blood from his mouth.

GMN-6 had pierced something into his heart. He looked down, his favorite dagger. He didn't see her take it. He had used that same dagger to end a few miserable souls. He slumped back gasping for his last breath. His eyes accused her.

"Oh don't look at me like that. I agreed to help you out, we just didn't agree out of what. If it makes you feel better you have a very nice dagger. I'll keep it as souvenir " GMN-6 said as the man closed his eyes and breathed his last.

"Dramatic much? " They heard GMN-9's voice from their communication device.

"please" GMN-6 said with an inflation.

"Do you always talk to the dead bodies of men you just killed? " GMN-9 asked

"I try"GMN-6 replied

"By the way, more men are coming to get you. Choose the door and you may have to fight your way down" GMN-9 said

GMN-1 zipped the bag she had packed Casio's laptop, documents and other stuffs she found in another safe.

"Can I borrow that? " GMN-4 said to GMN-6 who was pulling out the dagger to stash

"Return it" she said moving away 

"You guys go ahead we'll meet you 30km north"GMN-1 said into her communication device 

GMN-4 came back later with two suitcases. The one with the money and another. GMN-1 didn't pay much attention to him but GMN-6 did.

"What do you have there? "GMN-6 asked as she collected her dagger back. He just shrugged and handed her the money bag.

"We go out that window... " GMN-1 said

"Yes! "GMN-6 exclaimed and was already out the window before GMN-1 finished what she wanted to say.
