While Mo Kio had been engrossed in his indirect kiss with Shi Weiwei, Wei Jingyu was trying to snatch a box of chocolate wafer sticks from Ying Xuan.
Ying Xuan had snatched up the only box of chocolate wafer sticks just as Wei Jingyu was about to reach out to them.
And then when Jingyu had asked if she could share, Xuan had stuck out her tongue in reply.
So Wei Jingyu tried to use his height as he reached for the box, but Ying Xuan stretched out her hand upwards and leaned backwards.
It was then that Wei Jingyu exclaimed, "Come on Xuan!!! Just one!" and Kio's attention was drawn to them.
Wei Jingyu and Ying Xuan were engrossed among themselves, Jingyu leaning forward, desperately trying to reach towards the box and Xuan putting up her hands as high as it could go in the air. Mo Kio suddenly coughed and Xuan and Jingyu looked at him, surprised.
They saw Mo Kio looking very uncomfortable and Shi Weiwei very red in the face.
It was then that Ying Xuan and Wei Jingyu looked at each other.
They were really in a very inappropriate position. Wei Jingyu was leaning on Ying Xuan who had bended so much that she was practically lying on the ground with Wei Jingyu on top of her.
Upon seeing their own position, Xuan's face turned a deep shade of pink as she tried to get away from Wei Jingyu who just grinned and grabbed at Xuan's hand which had been holding the box.
But his hand clutched only Ying Xuan's empty hand. Xuan grinned as she slipped from under him and began showing off the box, which had god knows when slipped into her other hand.
Wei Jingyu sighed as his shoulders drooped, "Sometimes I wonder if you are even from this world, the way your mind works."
Ying Xuan chuckled but stopped when Shi Weiwei suddenly clapped her hands and exclaimed. She stood up and shrieked, "I've got it!! I've got it!!!"
And then she rushed away.
'Now that was a Eureka moment.' Xuan signed as she popped a wafer stick in her mouth and offered it to Wei Jingyu.
Wei Jingyu pouted as he took a stick, "And now you're willing to give them to me. Weird. Kio? Kio, what's wrong?"
He looked at Mo Kio, who was looking at the spot Shi Weiwei had vanished with a confused face. "Why did she run away?" He asked, his face gloomy.
Ying Xuan signed, 'Isn't it obvious? She thought of something for her story.'
Mo Kio tilted his head and looked at Wei Jingyu, "Please translate."
Wei Jingyu picked up a sandwich and leaned back, "Nope. Learn sign language for yourself."
Mo Kio pouted as he looked apologetically at Ying Xuan, who didn't look in the least bit bothered and texted him, 'Don't worry. You don't need to learn sign language. And Weiwei probably thought of something for her story.'
Mo Kio nodded and took another bite from his sandwich.
Ying Xuan headed with the leftover food to the girl's dorms after saying goodbye to the two boys.
She headed into Weiwei's room, and sure enough, found her furiously writing away something on a sheet of paper.
