No calls, no conversation

He didn't reply to her texts, didn't pick up her calls and refused to come to the girls' dorms. And when Xuan had once tried to meet him by making up an excuse to the warden, he had ghosted her once again and left the campus, leaving behind Kio to send Xuan back to the dorms.

Ying Xuan whipped out her phone and everyone began to order what they wanted to eat. She ordered enough for all her friends and once the conversation shifted to other topics, Xuan quietly messaged Wei Jingyu. 'Hii.'

As she had expected, he gave no reply, though the message was seen immediately.

'We're all having dinner at my room. Do you wanna come?' she sent another text. Seeing that he was still ghosting her, Ying Xuan groaned in frustration.

She kept her phone beside Shi Weiwei, knowing they would need it when the food arrived, and quietly sneaked out of the room.

Unknown to her, Lu Zuan had seen her sneaking out and followed Xuan up to the roof of the girls' dorms. Ying Xuan walked up the stairs and once on the roof, she swung her leg over the railing. Lu Zuan was scared out of her wits but she sighed in relief seeing Xuan sit on the railing, her face in her hands.

Zuan was about to go talk to her but she saw Xuan shaking. She could even hear some little sobs in the quiet of the night. Lu Zuan sighed and decided to give her some space. She turned around and walked back to Xuan's room, slipping in quietly.

While all this was happening, Wei Jingyu was sulking in his room. He was still very angry at Xuan for making him act with Ying Xi, and of course, being able to do nothing about it, he felt all the more frustrated.

Jingyu was playing a game on his laptop to distract himself when his phone buzzed. It was a text from Ying Xuan. He decided to ignore it like he had been doing for the past two days. Wei Jingyu was still angry, and he knew that if he talked to Xuan now, he would burst and make things worse. Plus, he didn't even know what to say to Xuan now-a-days.

While he was lost in thought, his mobile beeped again. It was Ying Xuan once again, asking him to have dinner with everyone. His concentration faltered as he was reading the text and as a result, Wei Jingyu lost the game he was playing.

He groaned and pushed his laptop away, plopping down on the bed. Jingyu picked up his phone, and scrolled through all the messages Xuan had sent him in the past two days. They really were a lot.

Wei Jingyu read through them and groaned as he threw his phone away. He missed Ying Xuan like hell. And not being able to talk made everything worse. He wanted to talk it all out, make-up with Xuan, but didn't know how.

While he was lost in thought thus, his phone buzzed again. Thinking it was Xuan again and deciding to reply this time, he picked it up.
