Ying Xuan: 'You will make my life a living hell? Need I remind you that you have tried to do that since birth. I always looked the other way, but not anymore.'
Ying Xuan: 'We came from the same womb Xi. I might not be able to speak, and might ignore most of what you did, but do not think for one second that I will let anything go after last night.'
Xuan: 'Last night was the limit. Try and cross me one more time Xi, I beg you. And you will see exactly what a living hell is.'
Ying Xi screamed in frustration and threw away her phone after reading the messages. It hit the opposite wall with a bang and landed on the floor with a thump. "How dare she threaten me?!?!" Xi cursed as she proceeded to wreak havoc throughout the whole room.
Ying Xuan was a bit worried about her sister as she walked out of the dorm building, but her worry turned into anger as she thought back to all Ying Xi had always done. How she had always sabotaged her in front of their father, leading to Xuan getting almost no parental love. And how she had once tried to convince Jingyu that Xuan was cheating on her, especially how she had tried to sabotage Weiwei's play last night. It was with these thoughts that Xuan came out of the building. Her feet turned towards the cherry blossom tree Jingyu always waited under of their own accord. She stopped once she noticed that he wasn't there.
Xuan took out her phone and texted him, 'Where are you?'
Jingyu replied almost instantly, 'Everyone went to drop Busak. On my way to the campus.'
Xuan: 'I'll meet you in front of gate 4.'
Jingyu: 'Sure. See you in 10 minutes.' He added a heart emoji at the end of his sentence, which had Ying Xuan sighing like a fangirl. Xuan had noticed that Jingyu's style of texting had changed slightly ever since they had started dating. He had started sending a lot more emojis, pictures and voice notes. He complained that it was because he could never call her, but Xuan knew that he secretly enjoyed being goofy.
Ying Xuan walked to gate 4 and saw Wei Jingyu waiting just outside. Xuan stopped dead in her tracks as she looked at him, leaning casually against a wall, his arms crossed against his chest and a stray strand that had escaped his man bun sweeping his forehead. He looked like a man straight out of a movie about handsome CEOs, but that was not what had made Xuan stop and stare.
Wei Jingyu was still the bad boy of the college, he was still late to classes more often than Xuan liked and had the habit of sometimes getting into trouble. Oh sure Xuan got herself into trouble too, but it was rarely physical trouble. So, according to his role, Jingyu was used to dressing up in leather jackets and ripped jeans. Even his casual lounge wear had sometimes scary looking skulls or band members printed on them. But today, today it seemed like Xuan had fallen into an alternative universe.
Wei Jingyu stood looking around, looking unearthly dashing in a plain white shirt and trousers.
