Day out

Xuan chuckled as she looked down at her own outfit and then at Wei Jingyu's. She shrugged and signed, 'I have to say, I think I pull this bad boy look better than you.' A mischievous smile tugging at her lips. Jingyu narrowed his eyes upon hearing this.

Xuan knew that this sentence would push all his buttons, but she had not been able to resist. She had come to realize in the past few months that Wei Jingyu was extremely competitive, and it helped that he was good at most things too. As expected, Wei Jingyu huffed and opened his mouth to say something that Xuan assumed was a rather cutting come-back, but instead she had the breath knocked out of her as he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her close.

Ying Xuan's breath hitched and her heart was doing overtime as Jingyu slowly inched closer to her ear and lightly whispered, "And I think this outfit would look the best on my bedroom floor."

Ying Xuan was still short-circuiting as Jingyu laughed and pulled her towards his bike. As promised, he had her favorite coffee to go hanging in a bag from the handle of his bike. Xuan happily grabbed the bag and pulled out the cup. She sighed contentedly as she took a sip and could feel life beginning to flow through her veins. It was then that she noticed another, smaller cup inside the bag. 'What's this?' she signed with one hand. Jingyu reached in to pull the cup and took a long sip before replying, "This, is mine."

'I thought you didn't like having caffeine.' Xuan signed, eyeing his cup and wondering if she could sneak a taste of whatever he had in there. Jingyu chuckled as he handed the cup to her and replied with a shrug, "I don't. My dad hates all artificial energy sources, and I picked it up from him. But it'll be a while before I can have a cup, so I thought, 'why not?'" Xuan was shocked as she asked, 'Your dad doesn't let you have coffee?'

Her expression changed from one of shock to disgust mid-sentence as she took a sip of Jingyu's coffee. It was black, black coffee with no sugar. Jingyu laughed and patted her head as he took back his coffee and slipped his hand around Xuan's shoulders. "So, what would you like to do today?" he asked as they started to walk.

Wei Jingyu would have loved to hold hands like a normal couple as the two walked through the city, but it was a downside of dating a girl who talked with her hands. The best he could do was grab her shoulders or waist, and that was exactly what he did.

The two of them had a blast going to all their favorite spots the whole day. Xuan hugged Jingyu as he dropped her off back to her dorm just as the sun was setting. 'What time is your flight tomorrow?' she asked. Jingyu chuckled as he mussed her hair, "You don't have to drop me off, you know." 'I know I don't have to, I just want to.' Xuan replied with a roll of her eyes like this was the most obvious thing in the world.

Jingyu sighed as he touched their foreheads together.
