Strong Fist

(Li Wei POV)

4th stage! Woo hoo! I got it two hours before the next day. I think I'm going to focus on the cultivation technique again. I would love to see what it gives me once I complete it. More stamina? That would be helpful. Maybe more comprehension ability? It will certainly aid me. I can't wait!

(Normal POV)

Another normal day passed in the Clear Sky Sect and the peace continued. For those that were seasoned, they knew that something was brewing and started to make plans. Those that were inexperienced lived their lives ignorantly and enjoyed what life had to offer.

Li Wei completed both cultivation and body training techniques in the span of two weeks. Now, he was invincible in the White Realm as no one can harm him unless they are in the third stage of the Red Realm and above or they have mastered a very high-level martial technique. If he had the natural defense bonus of the White Realm, then his base defense level would reach the fifth stage of the Red Realm.

He also figured out that his cultivation technique gave him more stamina like he thought and a natural Qi absorption ability. At all times, he will automatically collect Qi and once he manually used a cultivation technique himself, this passive ability won't go away which further increased his rate of Qi gain. Very useful to any other person besides him since he can't even cultivate in the first place. It sucked.

Now that defense was out of the way, the offense was next. Li Wei figured that it would take the same amount of time or less for this one to reach the fifth stage. His innate ability that he named Dimension Time was so amazing to him. What should've been a month of hard work was reduced to two weeks total instead of its original time. Librarian Li did once say that it took the greatest genius three weeks of pure devotion for each manual to reach its last stage and Li Wei took pride in the fact that he shattered the previous record. Since he wasn't the bragging type, he cheered mentally at his accomplishment and forgot it when he continued his cultivation.

While he slaved away on his stuff, the rest of the sect lost their motivation. It would always brighten everyone's day up when they see the happy smile of Li Wei first thing in the morning. Recently, he was barely spotted throughout sect and was mostly cooped up in his home ever since he became an outer disciple. They all knew that Little Wei loved cultivation and so they answered his questions whenever he asked. Now that he was a disciple, they understood that Li Wei was most likely studying more and more so that he could be a proper cultivator in the future.

As proud as they were at the youngest disciple, they were just as sad. Working hard was difficult to do when they weren't getting energy from their favorite munchkin. The mental state of most disciples was reaching the levels of depression and this gave the Headmaster a huge headache. Not just the disciples, his own daughters stopped cultivating too and were holed up in their rooms until they get their daily Wei'er. It was utterly ridiculous to him. How could a child hold this much prestige and value amongst all these people? Next to him was his wife that admired her fourth child even more due to how casually he can influence others by his presence. She was also laughing in the inside when she saw her husband struggle with such an odd issue.

For another week, Li Wei only stepped out of the house when he needed to use the bathroom, eat food, or get new stuff. Other than that, he was very distant. He only ever gave one-word answer answers to everyone he knew and that hurt them very much. Even when guests from other sects came to have an exchange, the weaker disciples gave up in the beginning and the stronger disciples destroyed the opponent wordlessly. The guest elders described the sect as more of a ghost town than anything and were greatly confused at the state of it. They were in an alliance with them and the disciples being this lethargic wasn't a good sign for them.

The Headmaster couldn't speak the truth because it was too embarrassing. He can't say a child caused this. That would make all his friends laugh at him.

Only after the week did Li Wei finally come out and go back to his usual schedule. All of the disciples threw a party for a Little Wei while the Headmaster finally had a good night's sleep. Li Wei definitely found it bizarre as to why there was a party without an occasion, but he enjoyed the company. Solitude was something he wasn't quite used to yet, so talking with everyone there made him quite happy. As for his cultivation, the mind text speaks for itself.

As of now, Li Wei is the strongest Outer disciple in the Clear Sky Sect. He might be slower than the rest, but he will never take damage from them unless they have a strong martial technique or a good body training technique. All he had to do was get one lucky hit in and he would win.

The next day, he reported everything he accomplished to the Librarian and returned his books. Listening to the young boy doing things that have taken geniuses years to do bothered him. He knew that Li Wei wasn't lying, but he was too curious. Telling Li Wei to attack him with all his power, Librarian Li saw a punch come in his direction. He lowered his defenses to prevent Li Wei from getting hurt by them and in the end, he was highly impressed. Li Wei wasn't just a genius. He was a super genius who is passionate about cultivation. Librarian Li could already predict how many hearts the little boy in front of him will break because of it.
