Forecasting The Wedding!

Without even apprehending how the one week passed by, the celebration that would transform the future of the citizens and royals of Granzreich conclusively arrived. Everyone is aware that Princess Sennett announced that she would be hiring the world's best and well-known reporters to film and forecast the wedding on every television ever built. Prince Licht requested to receive the explicit permission of the King that only the Granzreich's royal guards would guard the ceremony and that the other foreign guards would be dismissed, The King considered the request and reinforced the same on the event.

The reporters finally graced the palace with their dashing entrance and immediately rolled the camera and recorded the atmosphere of the live event; they were twins; one male and female. The female turned the camera and portrayed her brother, who was the lead anchor.

He spoke with beaming confidence, "Greetings to the entire world who has been waiting anxiously for this spectacular ceremony that would change the lives of everyone in Granzreich and their relationship with their neighboring countries. Yes, precisely you have recognized my twin sister and me as the one and only, 'The MacQuoid Reporters!' I, Dave MacQuiod will be your lead anchor and our editor/cameraperson, Kaylynn MacQuoid will be more than honored to record this lively event that would be joining the two young souls of Prince Bruno Von Granzreich and Princess Sennett Von Ringelstein, for you guys!"

*IN OFDAIN*

Professor Heidi was surfing the channels on the television until she switched to the live news and was shocked to see what was being aired. She yelled, "HEINE! PRINCESS BRUNIA; COME HERE QUICK!" They both came rushing down the halls and flung the door open and demanded to know what transpired. Heidi's voice was stuck in her throat as she could merely point at the television to indicate what was going on.

Professor Heine's eyes widened with shock, and he screamed, "Prince Bruno, oh no! How could this have happened!? How come the Prince has accepted the Princess's proposal?! All this while, I thought that he was in love with--" Heine stopped and glanced at Brunia whose eyes were fixated on the screen and didn't even utter a single word.

She asked, "Why am I not feeling so good while looking at this? I feel different like someone is trying to tell me something by watching this." Professor Heine and Professor Heidi stared at each other and were wondering how to elucidate the fact that the wedding was a piece of tragic news for her.

The anchor on the television continued, "Well... now let us give our audience some smoking information about this wedding! The word has just come in on who is the maid of honor and the best man of this wedding! You see... this isn't an ordinary ceremony, this is an extravaganza! So there are three best men and three maids of honor!! Prince Bruno, the groom's best men are Prince Kai, Prince Leonhard, and Prince Licht, whereas Princess Sennett's maids of honor are as follows: Prince Kaira, Princess Licha, and Princess Leonora!"

Brunia looked at the screen and shouted with tears in her eyes while clasping her hands to her chest, "WHY AM I FEELING THIS PAIN!? I FEEL LIKE MY HEART IS ACHING!! I DON'T EVEN KNOW THESE PEOPLE!"

Professor Heidi placed her hand on her shoulder as a sign of comfort and explained, "You know, Princess. Once upon a time, these people and your Professors were an integral part of your life. We can't force upon the issue on you, you have to recollect the events naturally. You already possess the information about your life before the orphanage, you need time and space to let everything sink in or else your condition will only deteriorate." Brunia buried her face in her hands, frustrated on who she was, and couldn't reminisce anything before she woke up in a strangers house who helped her to obtain the job of a reputed doctor in the mighty kingdom of Ofdain which turned out to be her home. Even after her biological parent's approval of allowing her to pursue her dream of helping everyone worldwide with her knowledge and skill, she thought that it wasn't good enough as she had forgotten 16 years of her life.

*BACK IN GRANZREICH*

In Bruno's dressing room, the Prince was fidgeting with his hands with his eyes full of tears of regret. His brothers entered the chambers and couldn't watch to see him cry like that. Kai composed himself and reminded, "Bruno, it's time for you to go to the aisle, now."

Bruno responded while crying, "I know, okay! I am just not ready, I'm petrified here!"

Licht asked, "Then why did you agree to this if you knew that being King is not as important as being happy?"

Bruno yelled, "Becuase, I didn't know it at the time! I don't even know where is the love of my life! Is she alive or dead, I just don't know! I am not at peace at all, I'm trembling with nervousness here. You all know what my precise answer to Sennett is going to be, but if I listen to my heart, millions of lives could be ruined, and we will have one of our best-allied nations to be our enemy!"

Kai reassured him by saying, "We all are aware of your purpose here, Bruno. And we all know that this wasn't an easy decision to make. However, whatever happens, we are still brothers, and we will always be here for you." Bruno put on a weak smile and rose from his seat, and the four siblings exited the room and composed themselves for the camera.

As the anchor perceived them after the flower girl's entry; Princess Adele, he continued with a confident grin, "And here the groom and his best men arrive at the aisle! Ah, what everyone says is right, Prince Bruno indeed holds resemblance to his dear mother! However, the Prince doesn't really look in a radiant mood today, maybe he will cheer up when his bride arrives, oh look there are the bride and her maids of honor! Let us all rise people!" Everyone rose from their seats as Princess Sennett Von Ringelstein graced her entrance to the room, thus spreading cheer all around the hall except for Prince Bruno and his brothers.

After the bride was escorted to the aisle along with her maids of honor and her father; the Priest and her groom were in front of her who wouldn't meet her eyes, Sennett observed the Prince's expression and whispered into his ear, "You need not worry about Princess Brunia, anymore. I know that you're dying to know where she is. And if you don't put up for the show, I will drag you out of here and get us married in a chapel."

Bruno raised an eyebrow and asked with curiosity, "What is that supposed to mean?"

Sennett whispered back, "I burned the Princess to death, and if you make any apparent indications, trust me, your brothers are as good as dead." Bruno's eyes widened as he raised his hand to punch Sennett, but he tried his level best to compose himself.

The Priest commenced with the traditional wedding rituals, and eventually, time flew by to the part where the ancestral part is concluded with the final questions. The Priest asked, "Do you Princess Sennett Von--" Sennett interrupted him by scoffing, "Yeah yeah, I know! I do!"

The Priest was shocked by the response and thought, "My, my Prince Bruno, you got one dominating wife there. Why on earth do you want to marry this woman?"

He then composed himself and proceeded, "Well... then. Do you Prince Bruno take this woman to love and to cherish for life and take care of her when in need?" Bruno was silent for a long moment, and everyone at the audience was anxiously waiting for his answer.

*IN THE OFDAIN PALACE*

Brunia's eyes filled with tears and the camerawoman forecasted Prince Bruno up close. She whimpered, "Bruno, oh my god! He accepted the proposal?"

The Professor glanced at each other with the realization that the Princess was recollecting her past!

Professor Heidi asked, "Princess, did you just say that Prince Bruno accepted the proposal?"

Brunia only buried her head in her hands and started weeping. Professor Heine inquired, "Wait a minute... do you remember what the Prince means to you?"

Brunia responded, "Yes, I'm in love with him... he sacrificed his happiness for the benefit of his kingdom and to pursue his dream of being a worthy monarch that his father would choose... my respect for him has reached new heights. As miserable as I am, there is still a part of me who is proud to be acquainted with such a man."

Professor Heidi replied, "That is a very mature answer, Princess." The King and Queen of Ofdain were standing at the door and observing the entire conversation.

They entered the room, and the King questioned, "Is that the man who my daughter adores so much?"

Brunia nodded with approval while the tears overflowed her eyes. She spoke, "Dad, I cannot imagine going back there. I mean, my sisters believe that I'm dead."

Professor Heine raised an eyebrow and inquired, "Princess Brunia, how do you know that?" Brunia snapped into realization and recognized the events after she encountered Prince Bruno, who was lying unconscious in the forest.

Brunia yelled, "SENNETT IS THE ONE WHO TRIED TO KILL ME! AND SHE INJECTED ME, AND I BET THAT IS WHY I COULDN'T REMEMBER MY PAST!"

Professor Heidi was shocked as everyone else in the room and asked, "W-W-Wait a minute.... can you tell us, how did you get out of there?!" Brunia closed her eyes and reminisced the events and then finally replied, "Karan Von Rathanlandia; Kabir's cousin! In fact, he even got me his post of being a doctor in Ofdain to facilitate the medical facilities to develop and help the people here." After eventually comprehending the transpiring of the unresolved matter, Brunia commented, "I wish there were a way to stop Bruno from making a huge mistake of marrying a criminal who uses power and authority to get what she desires!"

The Queen replied, "I'm incredibly sorry, my darling, but it is too late." They glanced at the television to see the Prince giving his answer.

The Prince finally responded, "I-I-I-- wait! Something is wrong with the wedding cake!" Abruptly, a peculiar noise started coming from the direction of the wedding cake, and everyone turned towards it to see six assassins jumping out of it and were heavily armed with dangerous weapons! All of them were dressed up uniformly in black costumes and also had knives in her pockets. One of them spoke, "If you love your lives and respect the King and the future Queen of Granzreich run away!" Two of them whispered to one another, and one of them shot the camera which caused it to fly in thin air and stop functioning whereas the other person fired the chandelier which caused the lights to go out!

The King of Granzreich commanded, "Quick security! Someone go to the Maintenence room and put back the power! And when the electricity came back, the groom and his best men were missing and two out of the six assassins disappeared!

The four assassins fought against the guards as the terrified guests and royals flee from the hall with chaos filling the room. Surprisingly, the four individuals defeated the guards and rushed with all the guards collapsed to the palace gates, which was the assembly point. Bruno ascended the carriage with two assassins where his brothers and the Vermillion sisters were found.

Bruno shrieked, "Who are these two assassins?! Are you out of your minds?! You want to kill me!?"

One of the assassins gasped and responded, "Your Highness, that is so offending after that heroic rescue of ours!"

Bruno raised an eyebrow and asked, "Why is your voice so familiar?" The two assassins removed their masks, and it turned out to be the most frequent and trustworthy guards of granzreich; Ludwig and Maximilian!

Licht explained, "Well... we did reassure you that you would be okay, so here we are!"

Leonora yelled, "UGH! What is taking these four morons too long!? We need to leave, or else we will get caught!"

A few seconds later, the four assassins who slaughtered the security came rushing to the carriage, took their seats, and departed from the Granzreich palace!
