EPISODE 19: Scold!*

Early in the morning, I wake up, furious at Mawile and Absol. Immediately upon awakening, I release them from their Pokeballs to ask more about what happened yesterday. Pokemon also needs some disciplining at times but not the harsh disciplinary action wherein one would literally spank their Pokemon, or worse, abandon them. I've noticed that from some trainers who got triggered because they lost and instead of scolding their Pokemon they leave it down an alley, saying "I will return" when in fact they will never. Of course, no matter how harsh a trainer is, Pokemon is always loyal and there are times when it would literally wait for its trainer to return.

"What happened yesterday?!" I ask ferociously, eyes sharper than ever. Mawile was completely scared of my raised voice, and as for Absol, she emitted those sad puppy noise in hopes of me being lulled by her cuteness.

"That won't work Absol! Sigh, the incubator broke didn't it?"

"Who started it?"

"Alright! One of you must admit the truth or else I won't groom your furs for a week." I bargain, quenching the fight between them.

Finally, the two of them decided to raise their hands, (For Absol, paw), no longer having the courage to blame each other but instead accepting it was both of their faults for this to happen in the first place.

"See, and now that the truth has been admitted, this argument can be over at last. And since the two of you told the truth, I will be forgiving you just this once. After all, you did your best to acquire a new one and the egg turned out to be safe. Still, there will be a punishment and that is, none of you will be groomed today and tomorrow."

Hearing my words, they accepted their punishments. A day or two isn't long, especially when time seems fast nowadays. Also, to cheer up their guilt, I hug them tightly and cuddled them for a minute or so like how Athena hugs me every time I feel guilty because of my actions. In this way, I feel more of a caring parent rather than a strict trainer.

With the argument settled, I returned to the warehouse to meet with Admin Hector and my partner, Zeal who is looking rugged as ever. Finally, another mission has been assigned, and it will be a very long mission. After alerting them yesterday, Professor Olive decided to search for their closest hideouts, and earlier this morning, the professor told me she was finally able to detect them, thus calling us.

To understand their motives, with the need to know more about our enemies. What better way to know about them by the classic "steal the database" mission? Since Zeal is a woman who wants to try new things, I believe this mission will have twists.

We have two objectives today. Number one is to infiltrate an Aqua Hideout in Dewford Town. They're in a submarine, and the only way of entering is through diving. According to the professor, that is where they keep the archives of their organization. By knowing their motives, we can easily identify their weaknesses.

Number two is to infiltrate a Magma Hideout in the famous Hoenn Desert. Just like task number one, our goal is to obtain the archives of Team Magma which is apparently in the desert.

The professor gave us special gadgets which include a radar for determining heat signatures, exclusive for the desert portion of our mission. We were also given some smoke grenades in case of tough situations. And this will be exciting for me, since this will be the first time I'll be diving for the sake of a mission.

Once portion one of our mission is complete, all we have to do is to press a button from our scuba outfit and it will immediately shift into the outfit intended for desert terrains. Team Rocket is getting high tech as the seconds pass by. I also wish to use one of their laser guns, that would be something amazing to try. I've seen grunts using it before and its destructive power gives me awe.

I am looking forward to further understanding our enemies. It is time to learn more about them. In this way, we can plan an emergency scheme in case they try to attack us in response to this mission. Surely, they have strong grunts as well, and most of them are waiting for us. Let the conquest begin.
