Throwing a Tantrum (updated)

During a long week of grading papers and almost died again, I get up a lot more early, more cautious of my surroundings more, able to finish work more quickly, and I feel like my blood pressure also rose. I guess I can finally go back to 'my' daily life. Oh, it'll still be hell staying in the same room with a white lotus and her obsessive boyfriend.

Before I entered the classroom, I heard something continuously slamming against something. When I slide the door open, the first thing I see is Yang Li facing the backboard, banging his head on the wall. He looks depressed with those lifeless eyes.

Just as I turned my head to pretend not to know whoever this person is, I find a handful of yellow seaweed stuffing on a pillow, Li Honglie probably brought the pillow to school.

"Are you guys dead?" I asked.

Yang Li's eyes quickly lit up and turned his head, then jumped towards me with tears, "Haohao! I thought you died!"

I quickly took off the backpack on my back and shoved it in his face, "Get your disgusting face away from me!" Yang Li probably heard the news about the assassination. Let me guess, it's due to Li Honglie's loudmouth.

"The guy has been keeping me up every day just to complain about you being missing. Is he obsessed?" Li Honglie lifts her head.

"If you're trying to show me your dark circles, it's covered with the layer of paint that's called 'makeup.'" Li Honglie groans at my answer.

"Well, what have I been missing?" I try to change the topic.

"Not much." Yang Li gave me my bag back after turn back normal as if nothing has ever happened, "Just Li Honglie flipping Long Jingluo off after he ridiculed her for bullying and the bald girl's father lost his job from your grandmother's company, so she moved to another country."

"Ohh- so her father is the one who I fired." I pulled back my chair to sit down, Yang Li followed.

"I guess so." He mumbles. Li Honglie raised an eyebrow, questioning Yang Li's IQ.

"Wait, you fired him?" He finally caught on.

Li Honglie stole a chair near our tables and brought the pillow with her, "Can I have the permission?" I immediately understood what she's trying to say. From her actions and her facial expressions, she really hasn't gotten much sleep.

"As long as you don't leave a bloody mess." I waved as Li Honglie starts to suffocate Yang Li with the pillow.

"I heard that bastard came back today." I overheard a conversation while getting a drink from the vending machine.

"Looks like a week is too short." I hid around the corner, opening the can in my hand to take a sip.

"Don't worry about it, I already got something plan-" Then a high pitch scream came from the classroom that I just came out.

"What happened?" Not only the two guys that were talking trash about me ran towards the room to check out what happened, everyone else in the hallway did.

I pour out the rest of the drink in a pot of plant, threw the can on the floor, stepped on it to flatten it out, then pick it up and threw it in the trash. I lazily walk to the classroom.

"Alright, move it." I squeezed through. Someone probably found that 'thing' in my bag.

"W-why is there a gun?" A girl pointed at my backpack with a handgun sticking out.

"A gun?"

"Whose bag is that?"

"Oh, that's mine." I raised my hand, everyone's eyes are now on me.

Only muttering can be heard in this room, "That's a nice water gun." Yang Li interrupted the awkwardness of the room with the dumb expression of his.

"Huh?" The girl changed her tone after heard what Yang Li said, then pick up the gun.

"Not yours." I walk towards her and quickly pulls it out of her hands. "Why are you touching my bag?"

The girl looked nervous for a second, "I was just trying to pick up the backpack that fell on the ground." She quickly made an excuse.

I unlock the window and slide up the button half, the wind breezes in. I move the safety switch and point at the tree.

"Why are you so sensitive about people touching your stuff? It's just a water gun." I pulled the lever and a loud bang ringed in everyone's ear.

"And this is why kids-" I move the safety switch back to its original position, "you should never touch stuff that isn't yours."

While everyone froze in place, Long Jingluo rushed over towards my direction, "Why do you have this!?" He pulled my hand, "How can you smile in this situation? Why are you threatening people!?"

I'm smiling? Actually, I'm quite pissed, enough to almost shoot that girl in the head.

I pulled my arm back, "So you can throw a tantrum when things don't go your way, but I can't take things back that are rightfully mine?"

Then, the police came, quite quickly. Someone contacted the police as soon as the gun was visible. Chen Bai came to sort everything out, he wasn't panicking a single bit. Chen Bai was able to talk with the officers out, it seems he has a high enough authority that the police won't even bother.

The school day ended early because of my action, everyone's questioning why I wasn't arrested. Li Honglie was suggested to stay with Yang Li for a while. Before Chen Bai drove me home, Yang Li looked worried. I can't tell if he's worry about me getting in trouble or just me in general. When I went back for the first time in a week, Zhao Lili didn't do anything. I'm sure she has heard what happened, but she only told me to go upstairs, and she'll bring dinner to my room.

It's strange, I didn't feel like myself the entire time.

Was the Xie Feihao in this world really a naive kid?

I laid on the bed and stare at the ceiling, felt too lazy to do any homework that was assigned. Let's be honest, I never do any homework.

I'm sure I remembered everything correctly: the moments where he went to school, the time where he was Long Jingluo, the time he got kidnapped, the memory of his family and their relationship, and confession and almost everything. What if he really was acting?

I feel like I'm overthinking this, but this gut feeling won't go away- Why was he kidnapped? It would make sense if Zhen Liyue is the reason, but she had a lot of grandchildren, why Xie Feihao?

I got up and out of the bed, I look around the room, to see if I missed something. I went into the closet and flipped through his disgusting shirts, then a box fell from the top of somewhere. Was this always here? I lift the lid, it was a stack of paper, I scanned through the page on the top.

"Xiao Hao." I heard Zhao Lili's voice from the outside. I quickly closed the lid and hid it behind the shoe closet.

"Yeah?" I came out of the closet before she opened the door.

She looks around the room just to find a mess. Zhao Lili shook her head and puts the plate on the nightstand near the bed, then starts picking things up from the floor.

"Uh- don't worry about it." I stopped her, "I'm cleaning my room, I can do it myself."

She took a sigh then smiles, "I hope you feel better." I gave her a wave before she went out.

The paper in the box was a DNA test between Xie Feihao and his parents, the results came up as negative.
