The Party (1)
Lin Ya gets to the party early and sees that there is already a massive crowd of fans, reporters, journalists and people at the entrance. 'Thank heavens you are not going through that entrance.' She smirks to herself and parks in the staff lot in the back instead. Pulling down the mask, Lin Ya hurries inside for the preparation of her 'game.' Nobody sees her enter the building and she has requested for shutting off of security cameras at the time of her arrival.

7:30 (official start time)
The invitees of the party are stirring up a scene at the entrance. Nearly 80% of the people coming are single and Uncle Lin has even managed to invite all 10 of the nations top bachelors to the party.
One by one people file in and look around in amazement of the grandness of the party and the ballroom.
The room has been dressed to match the theme of the party. There are silver tassels hanging from many surfaces and a large crescent moon glistening with lit up crystals. In addition, stars have been hung from the ceiling and there is calm music playing by a string quartet. There are banquet style tables for snacks and delicacies and chairs around the room for resting.
The dance floor is completely clear except for some large silver-colored sparkles. There is even a stage area The whole room screams sophistication, class and exudes a strange sort of tranquility.
All of the invitees are famous people but even they are struck silent upon entering the room. One by one, people come in and stand for a few minutes at the entrance, shocked by the scene in front of them before beginning to socialize.
Qin Jie arrives at ~7:45 and is shocked to see that most people are already in attendance. Due to the mandatory mask situation, the faces of women and men are obscured. Knowing that business king Qin Jie would be coming, many women wore their best dresses and caked their faces with makeup to seem whiter-skinned. But Qin Jie only had eyes for one girl... and nobody has seemed to find her yet. So in time, he starts sociable conversations with the people around him.

Lin Ya comes into the party room through a back entrance as she does not want the paparazzi to find her and speculate on her appearance even with a mask. Immediately, her social anxiety starts to flair up and she looks for her aunt and uncle.
Absentmindedly walking along, she suddenly collides with somebody and nearly falls. Luckily, due to years of training, she holds herself up. Of course, what also helps are the two large hands with slender fingers resting on her waist.
"Sorry" she murmurs to the man looking at him through the eyeholes of their masks. He doesn't say anything so she frowns and furrows her brows a bit. This snaps him back to the present.
"Oh no, I am at equal fault." The man says while releasing her waist. She still feels the warmth from them on her sides and this causes her to blush.
Staring at him she realizes his identity. It is Qin Jie from the Qi corporation. 'Interesting' she thinks and then initiates the conversation between them. There is an imperceptible look of playfulness in her eyes.

Qin Jie had been so busy searching for the CEO of LY enterprises that he didn't see the young woman in front of him until it was too late. They bumped into each other and he quickly reached out his hands to hold her waist and steady her. The encounter was so smooth that nobody even looked over. He then takes a good look at her and realizes, she absolutely beautiful.
The girl he is holding is absolutely gorgeous. Her waist length hair is undone and hangs in loose curls. She is wearing a breathtaking turquoise gown with off the shoulder straps which accentuate prominent collar bones. She appears to be bathed in silvery dust. Her mask is not too extravagant unlike many of the women that he saw before.
Her features are delicate and her eyes deep with so many layers of emotion. He gets lost in her eyes before realizing that she had apologized to him already. His response is simple and mirth appears in her hazel eyes. She goes from looking desolate to playful in a seconds notice which shocks him again.
"What is your name?" the girl asks as she cocks her head to the side a little bit. She looks like a little innocent puppy and he can't help but smile.
"Qin Jie, CEO of the Qi corporation." He smiles at her waiting for her reaction. As expected, her eyes widen.
"Your family owns this hotel." She gestures around the room. Her voice is sweet and clear. High pitched yet not like a screech. Qin Jie is speechless so he just nods earning himself a round of light laughter from the girl.
The girl looks over his shoulder and sees somebody gesturing to her so she quickly makes an exit.
"Thank you for your time CEO Qin, I hope that we can talk later." She quickly runs off, unaware of the stares of men all over the room. For some reason, it makes Qin Jie uncomfortable to see the eyes of all of the single men focused on her. Clenching his fist, he takes a deep breath and forces himself to go socialize with some of his other friends.
