Dinner Discussions
As the four figures walk in, heads turn and mouths gape open. They are oblivious to the fact that their entry is likewise to that of celebrities. Whispers arise from every corner of the restaurant as the waiter leads them up to the V-VIP room on the third floor. Pictures are secretly taken by the people on the first floor and posted onto weibo [1] instantly. Captions include.
'Oh my gosh! Who are these people? Tag them please!'
'I saw my god CEO Qin today *heart eyes emoji'
'Who are these women?'
'Aren't these people matches made in heaven?!'
The four are oblivious to the big debate starting to surface on weibo. They head upstairs and take a seat at the table. After ordering, Lin Ya starts the debate on the contract.
"Hi, thank you for meeting my assistant and I here. We are negotiating on the contract that would bind LY cosmetics to the Qi corporations entertainment company. If I am right, you want to use these cosmetics on celebrities and promote them." Lin Ya cuts straight to the point and her domineering aura overtakes the two men for a second before they can respond.
"Yes, CEO Lin. Qi corporations requests that LY cosmetics branch will be used for our entertainment stars. We will provide full sponsorship and cover any additional fees including transportation and such. We chose LY because they have the cleanest reputation and their products have amazing quality." Qin Jie returns the same tone as Lin Ya, drawing a slight smile to the corner of her lips.
"Do you have any questions about the contract? We can increase the sponsorship rates if necessary." Qin Jie quickly adds, seeing Lin Ya unresponsive.
"The contract is perfectly satisfactory, it was very well written out. But if you want to increase the sponsorship rates by your own volition I can accept that, too." Lin Ya teases the two men at the end. She puts on a warm smile seeing their blank faces.
"Okay, good. It is a pleasure to do business with you CEO Lin." Qin Jie rolls CEO Lin off of his tongue in an alluring way. This action would cause any other woman to swoon except these two. It could be said that Lin Ya is (nearly) immune to the advances of men, but even she can not deny that this made her heart pound a little bit more.
At that moment, the food arrives and the four dig in.
From then, the conversation takes a turn and becomes what would be expected of close colleagues. The four have a natural chemistry as they talk about everything from favorite foods, songs, etc and even funny company interactions. It is already nearly 11:00PM when they finish talking with each other.
"CEO Lin, do you want to exchange contacts?" Qin Jie asks shamelessly making Pan Huan gape in surprise. Fan Mei almost chokes on the water she is drinking and looks to her boss with raised eyebrows.
"Sure, because we can be counted as acquaintances now that would be okay." She shrugs and the embellished crystals on her suit glimmer in the light. She hands her phone to Qin Jie and he follows suit with her phone.
"Assistants should exchange contact information as well." Lin Ya noticed that Pan Huan's eyes almost never left Fan Mei since they sat down and Fan Mei kept shooting glances in his direction.
"Okay, boss." Both assistants murmur and quickly exchange numbers and even social medias. Qin Jie observes this scene and can't help but snicker at Lin Ya's antics. Lin Ya gets more and more interesting to him as he sees and understands her more. For one, she has a million faces and knows how to play her cards just right to get reactions out of people.
As the four leave the restaurant, the aura around them is warm and joyous. Not only did they pack up a huge multi-million dollar contract, they earned each other as acquaintances. When they walk through the first floor, once again, heads turn and there are clicks and flashes of cameras capturing their leaving.
Lin Ya walks beside Qin Jie as they discuss their companies and depth while Fan Mei and Pan Huan follow behind them, talking about their bosses (including the fact that they look really good together!). When they finally depart, there is only smiles and laughter from the four.

Lin Residence
Lin Ya can not help but smile at what happened at dinner. She didn't think that she could be kindred spirits with the 'King' of CEOs Qin Jie so easily. His reputation of being icy and cold crumpled as she talked to him and his assistant. She learned that they were in the military together and they had even saved each others lives. Another thing that sparked her interest was that he was fluent in multiple martial arts - just like her! While she did not reveal her martial arts history, she wants to challenge him to a match someday!
On her bed, Lin Ya opens up weibo. She started a weibo account after her masquerade ball one week ago. She has already racked up 9.2 million followers despite having posted only one picture. In addition, she has already been donned the 'ice goddess' by silly netizens.
However, she was not prepared for what she saw on the trending topics...
