Qin Corporations
Qin Jie finished all of the work that had piled up on his desk. It felt good to have to time to think and let the mind wander, to have nothing mandatory to do. About midway through the afternoon, Pan Huan bursts through the office door.
"LY enterprises CEO accepted our invitation. They arranged for a place and time." Pan Huan reports to Qin Jie who bursts into a smile.
"When is the dinner?" Qin Jie asks, eager.
"Friday, 7:00 PM at East Lake Restaurant." Pan Huan dutifully reports the location and date of the dinner. He knows that his boss and best friend has been distracted with thoughts of the LY CEO since their meeting three days ago. Surprisingly, however, Qin Jie's eyes furrow and a slight frown marrs his lips.
"Um...boss?" Pan Huan nearly whispers. He is a little nervous... shouldn't his boss be the happiest man in the nation right now?
"Why is it so late? I want to see her sooner." Qin Jie pouts a little bit and Pan Huan nearly bursts out laughing but instead covers it with coughing. Isn't his boss a little bit too shameless sometimes? For heaven's sake, he has just met this girl not a week ago and is already complaining about not seeing her for a mere few days.
"We are lucky to get a date with her schedule. She made time for you." Pan Huan calmly reminds Qin Jie and watches as the smile reappears on his bosses face.'Whew' he thinks to himself.
"Okay. Clear my schedule of all the afternoon meetings." Qin Jie instructs Pan Huan who nods once again and takes his leave. Since leaving the military together, it seems that Qin Jie has only gotten more bold. Shaking his head, Pan Huan goes back to his own desk.
Qin Jie stands up and looks outside of the large window that encompasses nearly 1 side of this office. In the far distance, the LY enterprise building stands tall, dwarfing the surrounding buildings. 'I'll see you soon, CEO Lin.' Qin Jie thinks to himself with a smile. He still doesn't know what fuels his curiosity towards this young woman and still wants to find out more about her and her past.

Lin Enterprises
Lin Ya finishes all of her work in a daze, rejecting all of the marriage proposals (politely! of course) and arranges meetings for herself to attend with reputable companies. She still plans to lie pretty low for the first few weeks to help herself adjust to the 'royal' culture.
Fan Mei visits her mid afternoon and the two of them eat lunch together. Fan Mei has known Lin Ya for almost 15 years since they went to the same primary school together. Since then, they had been each others support systems and their friendship was unbreakable. For a while, they were separated, however, they came back in contact after Lin Ya finished her schooling.
There are no secrets between the two of them. Fan Mei is a petite, full chinese girl with short, dark hair that frames her face. She has almond eyes and small features. She is already 26 and has been Lin Ya's assistant for three years. Fan Mei understands Lin Ya the best and her parents even treat Lin Ya like their adopted daughter.
"The Qi corporation has accepted the time and place of the dinner meeting." Fan Mei says in between bites of food.
"Okay, good." Lin Ya smiles mischievously and Fan Mei can almost see the gears twirling in her head. Having a high IQ is really scary sometimes! She thinks to herself. However, she knows Lin Ya's tendencies and how she thinks.

Friday, East Lake Restaurant
Lin Ya gets off of work a little bit early to get ready for the business dinner. Fan Mei accompanies her as well. She is wearing a Alexander McQueen Crystal Embellished black blazer with matching pants, and two inch silver heels. She looks put together and classy. Fan Mei stares at her best friend (and boss!) in awe as she fixes her hair into a high ponytail and leaves her makeup natural and light.
Lin Ya has a natural glow and the dark blazer accentuates her pale skin and gives it a star like luminance. The blazer highlights her curves unintentionally. Fan Mei is wearing a simple black skirt and white blouse. She has a petite figure which screams youth and innocence. The two of them make a eye-catching pair.
They head in Lin Ya's black Aston Martin and arrive at the East Lake Restaurant at 6:50 - 10 minutes before the supposed meeting time. To their astonishment, CEO Qin and his assistant are already standing outside of the entrance.
"They were obviously excited to come here." Fan Mei mutters with obvious implications. Lin Ya gives her a side eyes as the two girls laugh and walk towards the men.
In an instant, all of the eyes of people dining and coming to the restaurant fall on them. This includes those of Qin Jie and Pan Huan, who meet them in the middle.
The four of them walk into the restaurant looking like celebrities and bystanders are rapidly taking pictures.
If only they knew what a huge topic this would blow up to be overnight...
