Chapter 3: Enter Training

The light of day breaching the curtains, was it morning at last. The sound of knocking luminating through the room, much to my suprise there were two men. (Good morning Sir sorry to wake you so early, but it's time for your inauguration into the holy knights of Celestia. Now after you get dressed, if you would follow us We will be showing you to the traing grounds.) As we walked through the kingdom, I couldn't help but admire how peaceful it was. Even early in the morning, the kingdom was so virbrant with life. Travelers from all over, here just for the sake of finding a better life. It was apparent to me that, there may still be much more upon which I still haven't seen. One thing was apparent to Me though, it had been bugging me all night. What Ezra had told me about Oros, could I really be the one to lead, and protect this prosperous land. We had made it to the training grounds, upon which we were greeted by Mira. (Good morning I hope you slept well, because it's gonna be a long day. Now if you would, please kneel on one knee, I hereby beseech you the rank of rookie knight. Now stand, I want you to look around, and take in all that you see. This land is more than just a kingdom, it is a home for all, and a sanctuary of which the God's were said to have once roamed free. This land is the pillar of which we protect from collapsing. So I want you to remember that as a knight, you are honor bound to protect, and secure the safety of this land. Now we'll get you set up with some amor, and equipment. Then we'll get in an evaluation of your skill level, this will be to get a good idea of where you stand, compared to other knights of you rank. Know them let's begin shall we.) The training had begun, my opponent was swift and quick. Altough I stepped back, and closely watched his movements. Every time he moved it was obvious that he left his left leg open, which made him susceptible to low blow kicks. My thoughts were correct, when he jumped forward to swing he was open. So I dropped low to avoid the swing, and put all my force into one striking point. A blow to his leg, this shifted his balance causing him to fall, which allowed me to point my sword down thus ending the scrimage match. But for some reason Mira seemed very surprised.(I haven't seen many rookies who posses, they ability to read an opponent's muscle movement to that degree. It would be amazing if your memory were to come back, for all we know you could've been a military solider from another land, or even maybe a high ranking soldier of Celestia. But anyway congratulations you passed your fist test. Usally people dont beat a novice ranked soldier, on there fist training test. This will conclude the combat portion of your training, next will be physical limit testing.) The training was rough, my body was completely exhausted from all the activites. But at last the training had come to an end for the day. Mira told Me to meet her for a drink, later in the day. Happily I said yes, because if it weren't for her I would've been an amnesia filled man, wondering through the woods alone. At last I had gone home to relax for a while. Time quickly passed, thats when I remembered that I had to meet Mirs for a drink. Rushing out the door I went, I was moving as fast as I possibly could. I had made it on time. There she was outside the tavern, I had never seen her without amor on before, I couldn't help but admire her beauty. The sparkling aura resonating from her was like a million stars shimmering. She was calling for me, I nodded, and made my way over to her table. We talked for what felt like hours, ordering drink after drink. Until I could hardly see in front of myself.( Well I uhh, ohh my stomach, I bid you goodnight.) She darted of in the distance. So I headed home, by time I got back it was already past midnight. But now there was something new on my mind. It was about my first mission. She said that we would be doing patrolling around the border, near a small village. The village had been ransacked many times. Although I mustn't let such a trivial matter distract Me, from the goal in front of Me. The alcohol must have kicked in, I started to feel dizzy, and as a result I passed out. Darkness enveloped me again, as I once again had fallen into this this endless void, of nothingness. Falling into slumber at last.
