Where's Seth

Seth scared and acting frantic doesn't know what to do. He can't go home that'll be the first place they would look. Seth gets a idea and decides to hide at a place no one would know about.

Officer Orso breaks Kitty's front down and rushes into the house.

OFFICER ORSO

I'm coming in!

Down in the basement Kitty comes to from being knocked out.

KITTY(KATE)

Help down here!

Orso rushes down the steps to the basement. He finds Kitty getting up rubbing her head and sees Ashley lying there bleeding everywhere.

OFFICER ORSO

What happened?

KITTY(KATE)

Seth came by asking for me to hide him. He had told me what he had done. He claimed it was a accident. Then Ashley got scared and threatened to turn him in if he didn't. Seth said no, so she started to run and get help. He panicked and fire the gun at her.

OFFICER ORSO

Okay calm down it'll be okay. Did he say where he was going?

KITTY(KATE)

No...I don't know he knocked me out before he left. I don't even know if this is all real or If I'm dreaming.

OFFICER ORSO

Alright I'll put a search out for him.

Orso gets on the radio.

OFFICER ORSO

Miller! Call a APB on the Seth I want him found.

OFFICER MILLER

Yes sir right away.

OFFICER MILLER

I need all units to be on the look out for a Seth Silverton. He is know to be armed and dangerous.

Officer Orso runs over to Ashley and checks her pulse.

OFFICER ORSO

There's a pulse she's still alive. The bullet went in and out the other side. It didn't seem to hit anything vital. She should be alright.

KITTY(KATE)

Oh my god, thank god she's going to make it.

OFFICER ORSO

Miller I need a ambulance to my position.

OFFICER MILLER

Right away sir.

A few minutes later sirens blare in the distance. Moments later the E.M.Ts are down in the basement working on Ashley.

EMT

Ma'am I Need to check your head.

KITTY(KATE)

Oh okay, but I'm okay though.

EMT

It's just routine there could be internal damage.

KITTY(KATE)

Okay.

Seth pulls up to a cabin in the woods next to a lake.

SETH

It's been years since I've been here not since dad past away. No one know about this place it was are special spot to fish and camp.

Seth walks into the cabin. He see old pictures hanging and can almost picture his dawn sitting right on his chair. Seth walks over to the couch and sits down. He grabs the remote on the table in front of him and turns the tv on.

TV REPORTER

Hello I'm standing here in front of the residence where a young girl has been shot and another girl hit in her head. I heard they should both make a recovery from the brutal attack. The Young man said to have done this is name Seth Silverton. He is said to be armed and dangerous.

Seth surprised on how fast this is unfolding is scared of what is to come.

Officer Orso decides to drive to Seth's house to talk to his mother.

Officer Orso pulls up to the Silverton residents. He gets out of his car and walks to the front door and knocks. Mrs.Silverton answers the door.

SETHS MOM

Oh hello officer.

OFFICER ORSO

Ma'am I've got bad news. Your son is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. I need you to cooperate with me and to tell me where your son could be.

SETHS MOM

Oh dear, I don't know what to think. This can't be true. How can he be the one that did this?

OFFICER ORSO

There is a witness that has identified him.

SETHS MOM

Oh dear god, I don't know where he could be at. He doesn't have many friends to turn to. We don't have much family most aren't even in the state.

OFFICER ORSO

Is there any place he like to go to be by himself?

SETHS MOM

Not that I know of.

OFFICER ORSO

Is there any places that you as a family would go for vacations?

SETHS MOM

No we didn't really do vacations much. But there was one place that he and his father would go to for bonding trips. It's up in the mountains. It's called lake Washo.

OFFICER ORSO

Okay thanks I'll be in touch.

Officer Orso heads to his car. He calls the station to have someone get him to location of lake Washo.

Officer Orso heads to lake Washo to find Seth. It takes a while to get there it's about a two hour drive.

Back in town Kitty heads to Seth's house.

Kitty walks up to the door and knocks.

SETHS MOM

One minute please.

Seth's mom hurried to the door.

SETHS MOM

Hello, who are you?

KITTY(KATE)

I'm Kitty, Seth's friend or I was I don't know today has been crazy.

SETHS MOM

Oh Seth has told me all about you come in.

KITTY(KATE)

No ma'am I can't. I need to find Seth, I want to talk him down I think he'll listen to me.

I told the officer that came by that he could be at lake Washo.

KITTY(KATE)

Okay great I know where that is, thanks see you later.

Kitty heads to her car and makes her way to the lake.

Officer Orso made it to the lake. He sees a lonely cabin with light coming from the windows in the distance. The sun setting behind the cabin. He heads to the door and bangs on it.

OFFICER ORSO

Seth opens up I know you're in there.

.....there's no answer.

OFFICER ORSO

Seth if you give up now I can make this easier on you.

.....there's no answer again.

OFFICER ORSO

Okay you have to the count of three or I'll kick the door in and take you in with any force I need.

OFFICER ORSO

A shadow comes from behind Officer Orso.

SETH

Seth Wales Orso in the back of the head with a wooden bat knocking him out.

Seth quickly pulls him into the cabin. He gets some rope and ties him to a chair. A few moments later Officer Orso begins to awake.

OFFICER ORSO

My head.

SETH

Hello Officer.

OFFICER ORSO

Seth you need to untie me. You have to give up, you're making worse on yourself.

SETH

You see I can't I just can't it's gone to far. There's no turning back from here.

OFFICER ORSO

The law will be easier on you if you give yourself up.

SETH

Do you think I'm stupid? I know your mind games I'm not falling for it.

OFFICER ORSO

It's not mind games Seth, you need help you aren't well. I know all the kids bullied you. I know that you lost your dad at a young age. I can help you find the help to fix your pain.

SETH

I...I'm sor...

From behind Kitty knocks out Seth with the bat used to knock out Officer Orso.

OFFICER ORSO

Kitty you shouldn't be here you could've gotten hurt. Seth isn't well.

KITTY(KATE)

I thought I could've talked him down but I was to late. I had to do it to save him and you if he would have killed you, there wouldn't have been any chance for him they would've just gave him the death penalty. I couldn't let that happen to a friend.

OFFICER ORSO

you're a good friend, even after the short time you have know him you were willing to risk your life.

Kitty walks over to untie Officer Orso.

OFFICER ORSO

We got to go, untie me quickly so I can cuff him before he wakes up.

Officer Orso cuffs Seth and gets him to his car and puts him in the back seat. Kitty and Orso get in their cars and head back to town.

Officer Orso made it back to the police station with Seth. Seth begins to awake in the back seat.

SETH

What happened? Who hit me?

OFFICER ORSO

That doesn't matter.

Officer Orso gets out and opens Seth's door. He helps him out of the car.

OFFICER ORSO

Let's go kid.

Officer Orso walks him into the station and takes him to a holding cell.

OFFICER ORSO

Sit in here for a bit while I make some calls.

The cell door closes hard with a loud clang. Seth looks down in the darkness.

SETH

You'll all regret this one day you'll see.
