The truth comes out

The next morning after Seth's arrest the sun shines into the cell through the small window with bars over head. The sun glares into Seth's eyes and awakes him.

SETH

Ow...my head is killing me. Hey is anybody there, can I get some water?

OFFICER MILLER

Hey quiet in there.

SETH

When do I get something to eat? Don't I get a phone call?

OFFICER MILLER

You'll get something when I'm good and ready. You lost all rights the moment you killed someone.

Officer Orso walks into the station. Ready to take Seth into court.

OFFICER ORSO

Get up kid let's go.

SETH

I haven't go anything to eat or drink yet I've been asking.

OFFICER ORSO

Really miller? He still has to eat.

OFFICER MILLER

He doesn't deserve anything in my book.

OFFICER ORSO

Straighten up you're out of line miller.

Orso looks at miller with a stern face his eyes glaring him down.

OFFICER MILLER

Yes sorry sir.

Miller looks away ashamed.

Officer Orso escorts Seth to the car and helps him into the back. They drive off to the courthouse for Seth's court hearing.

They pull into the parking lot and park. Orso gets out and opens Seth's door. Seth gets out and they walk up to the entrance. They walk down the long never ending hall. They get to a room the door opens to a huge room with a bunch of benches full of people of the community. They stare Seth down of he walks down the isle to his seat the the table in the front of the room. Seth sits down. Officer Orso takes his seat in the row behinds Seth's table along side Seth's mother.

The judge walks into the room. The bailiff has everyone rise.

JUDGE MALONEY

You may be seated please.

JUDGE MALONEY

We are hear for the case of Seth Silverton for the murder of Johnny Jameson how does the defense stand?

DEFENCE ATTORNEY

Not guilty your honor.

The case continues the court sees all the evidence collected. Then the offense attorney wants to ask Seth some questions.

Seth is called to the stand.

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

Mr.Silverton, would you please tell us why you shot Mr.Jameson ?

SETH

I'm was defending myself he was attacking me. I thought I was going to be killed.

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

Okay fair but you didn't have to shoot him. You could just hit him back no one would have blamed you, if it was just self defense.

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

Now could you tell me where you got the gun you had?

SETH

I bought it from a guy online.

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

Okay.

The attorney brings up the missing kids in town.

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

Mr.Silverton do you have any idea what may have happened to the missing kids in town?

SETH

How does that have to do with my case?

Seth's face fades to a white pale bleak frown. He is getting nervous his hands are sweating. His heart is pounding. The stress and anxiety are at a all time high. It would all go away if he'd just say it.

JUDGE MALONEY

Answer the question son.

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

Do you know of the whereabouts of the missing kids from your school?

SETH

JUDGE MALONEY

You are under oath son, you have to answer the questions without lying.

Seth turns to the courtroom. He snaps and just lets it all out he couldn't hold the pressure of it anymore. He wants the world to know of his little game. So with a big smile he lets the room know.

SETH

Fine I'll tell you I'll tell all of you.

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

Please enlighten us Seth.

SETH

I killed them yeah I did. I enjoyed it to, they were all assholes. They thought that they could treat me like they did. I did what other nerds and other bullied kids wouldn't do I did it for them all.

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

Thank you for your honesty. Could you tell us who and how you did it?

SETH

My first was brad he was a huge dick. But not in the pants. He used to like making me his little bitch he used to say. So in return I made him my bitch. I took him to my storage unit and strapped him down and used a car battery to shock him to death. Boy was it fun watching him jump around. Haha

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

Who was next?

The whole courtroom was in discuss. They couldn't believe what they hear.

SETH

Next was the pretty sam. She always made everyone feel ugly and she thought she was a pretty little princess. I took her to my storage unit I'll it my play room to make it easier. I put her on the metal bed and tied her down. I took a gallon of acid and dropped it on her face and watched it melt away like ice cream on a hot summers day. It was pretty poetic. When I was down watching she was still alive, so I poured the rest on her and watched it melt to her bones. Oh was it just beautiful.

SETH

Now she looked just how she made me and others feel.

People in the courtroom had to get up and leave due to them being sick from the stories.

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

The attorney scared to ask Seth.

SETH

Yes there was next is Jake. You see Jake was just a straight up ass. I came into school one day and I went to sit down at my desk. Before I sat there was something written on it. It said go kill yourself with a hangman next to it. So when I took him to my playroom. I had him tie a rope to a pipe and I tied a loop in the other end. I made him want to get on the chair. And I made him jump off. See I made him kill himself.

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

SETH

Yes, but I shot ashley but that was a accident I really liked Ashley she was a friend hopefully could still be. She was a kind person.

OFFENCE ATTORNEY

So do we hear this right Mr.silverton are you confessing to the murders of the missing teens in town?

SETH

Yes I am, I'm glad you got me you stopped a lot more from happening my revenge was not yet done.

The families of the missing teens crying in the courtroom. Hearing the fates of the children taken to soon was to much to bare.

JUDGE MALONEY

I find the defendant guilty of three counts of first degree murder. Two counts of attempted murder. Two counts of assault. I sentence you to twenty five to life due to the metal state of the defense I'm declaring you mentally insane and will be sent to the mental institution of the state. Court is adjourned.

The bailiff take Seth's to the holding cell to be taken to to states mental hospital.

Seth's mom in the group of towns people watching she's in tears from what she has just heard. She turns to the families and says to them with such sorrow.

SETHS MOM

I'm so sorry.

ASHLEY

It's okay Mrs.Silverton it's not your fault. He needs help he's going to get it now.

A week later at the mental institution.

HOSPITAL ORDERLY

Silverton you have a visitor.

Seth looks up and walk to the visiting room. A small room with four grey walls. That's the most color he's seen in a while since the courtroom. Besides all the pills they have him shoving down.

As Seth walks into the room he sees sitting Kitty.

KITTY(KATE)

Hi Seth, how are you doing?

SETH

I'm doing okay. Hey do you wanna play? Haha

Seth gives a big creepy smile and looks at Kitty. They grow smaller as the fade away.
