The solution to paperwork

I facepalmed and Hiruzen laughed, I sighed and asked " Were you not paying attention in class?" Naruto laughed nervously for his answer and then I said " Chakra is the energy within you, it's what Ninja's use to do Ninjutsu." Naruto then had an 'oh' look on his face and said " So that's what that is! It's that warm feeling in my body right?" I nodded my head and said " Yeah, the more you can control it the better you can use different techniques." He nodded his head and to be honest I was a little surprised at how he was reacting, but it's probably because someone went out of there way to help him.

I nodded to myself and then ordered my ramen, while thinking to myself ' I should learn the shadow clone jutsu, that way I can send a clone to the academy since it's so boring.' With that thought I turned to Hiruzen and said " Hey Jiji, do you want to know the answer to your paperwork problems?" He looked at me with a curious glint in his eyes and said "Of course I do, but I doubt there is one..." I laughed a little and said " I'll tell you, but only if you give me a ninjutsu of my choosing."

Hiruzen put on a thoughtful look then shrugged and said " Why not?" I smirked and simply said " Shadow clones." He looked at me for a good moment, sighed then grabbed his pipe from his cloak and took a hit, while murmuring " I'm too old for this shit." I laughed and at that time my ramen arrived, then Hiruzen spoke up sounding a little defeated and asked " What ninjutsu do you want to know." and then a look of realization came on his face and he asked "How do you know what shadow clones are?"

I expected he would ask this question so I spoke up and said " I saw Itachi pick up his brother one day and he made a clone and when I asked him about it he told me about the shadow clone jutsu." Which wasn't a lie, I did see him the other day do that and asked him about it. Hiruzen nodded his head and then asked " So you want to learn the shadow clone?" I nodded my head and said " Of course, the academy is boring so I was gonna send a shadow clone there in my place. Well at least until next year when we start practical stuff."

Hiruzen nodded his head and said " I'll give you the jutsu tomorrow, anyways I have to go, paperwork awaits me." With that he left, leaving Naruto and I with our ramen. After eating a couple of bowls of ramen I decided to go back to training. Back in the training ground, I was in the middle of walking on a tree when I remembered my second wish. ' I need a sword, and some fuinjutsu things. Also I should learn what my chakra nature is. So much to do…' I sighed, but then all of a sudden I felt a connection with the tree I was on.

'What's this?' I thought and then I turned my head in a direction sensing someone on a tree through the tree I was on. But as soon as I looked in that direction the person disappeared. 'I can sense people.' Then, I heard Fawkes hum in thought and he said ' I think you can sense people that are on trees or near them if you are touching a tree. Although it is a hypothesis…' At that time I felt the same presence from before, but in a different position on a nearby tree. I turned in that direction to look and I saw a glimpse of a person before they disappeared.

'Why can I sense them now though, and not earlier in the day?' Then Fawkes spoke up sounding like he had an epiphany and said 'Earlier you were wearing shoes.' ' That makes sense, so do you think that was an anbu?' I felt him nod his head and I went back to practicing for the rest of the day.

--Meanwhile--

" You saw him face you many times throughout the afternoon?" Hiruzen asked the anbu in front of him. "Yes hokage-sama, I believe he may be a sensor." Hiruzen hummed in thought then said " If that was the case he would have noticed you earlier in the day. Perhaps it's something else, anyways just keep a farther distance from him when you watch him." The anbu nodded and said " Hai!" Then disappeared in a shunshin, leaving Hiruzen to his thoughts. ' I should get the shadow clone jutsu ready, but by the looks of it Sasaki may be a prodigy.' Then a person entered his office. " You called me hokage-sama?" "Yes Itachi…"
