In the Throne Room <2-in-1>

I walk out of the cafeteria after finishing my breakfast. As expected of meals prepared by royal cooks, they were tasty. Still, they were a bit below the level of the high-class foods that I had the pleasure to sample in my previous life.

How can I know the taste of high-class foods? As a commoner and a college student who lived by my workaholic parents' money, I shouldn't have known 5-stars meals. Fortunately, I had experienced a diner in one of those fancy restaurants when one of my fuckbuddies invited me on a classy date.

For your information, that woman was the wife of a rich businessman. However, she had an unsatisfactory marriage life because her husband was a workaholic. We met in a bar, and I wanted to take advantage of her when she wasted herself.

In my previous life, I had another hobby besides indulging in Otaku's interests. This other hobby is the reason behind my negative karma as God mentioned.

After experiencing the addictive taste of fleshy pleasure, I became a nymphomaniac. I am fascinated with sex since then. And I kinda loved the thrill of conquering women, either consensual or through incriminating blackmails.

It was a miracle that policemen never visited me. Granted, I was always careful with my target and always had vice grips on them so they wouldn't report me. But, I digress.

I couldn't be satisfied with a single girl, but all my ex-girlfriends wanted me for themselves. And that was no good!

I am a pussy connoisseur and have a fascination with the concept of sex and harem. Thus, I broke up with them after I lost my interest or got caught cheating by them.

After getting tired with moody and flighty teenagers, I decided to set my eyes on more experienced women who wouldn't mind casual sex. Since then, I appreciated mature women and MILFs. And I could find an adult woman who needs to unwind from their stress in the club after I officially turned 18.

In the beginning, I only targeted women who dropped hints, but after my first experience in taking advantage of a wasted woman, I became addicted to the thrill and the minimum effort of such action.

To be honest, I felt that wooing a woman for one night stand was a waste of time and effort.

All that aside, back to my first meeting with the rich sex buddy of mine. I never expected her to quickly recover after we fucked. I was scared that the woman would report me to the police, but she just laughed at me and turned the table.

My fear and shock turned into confusion and anxiety as she mounted me with fervor. As if taking pity for my confusion and anxiety, she told me that she really needed it. After that, she vented out all her grievances due to her unsatisfactory marriage life to me, somehow.

I didn't know what possessed me at that time. I audaciously offered her a deal. I'd be happy to be her boy-toy, I said. Surprisingly, she agreed. We changed our contact numbers. We went to a date that ended up with a raunchy sex two times in a month.

Our casual relationship continued for almost a year. Around two months before my untimely demise, she broke up our casual relationship because she was pregnant. I am uncertain whose baby is in her belly. Is it mine? Is it her husband's? Well, that's not my problem since I am in another world now…

Wait for a minute! Why in the hell I was monologuing about one of my sexual adventure?!

Ah! Yeah. This started with me comparing the meals in the castle with a 5-stars menu I've eaten. I've been digressing. Well, then. Let's focus on the present.

As I am heading for the throne room, I'm not alone. Artemis is walking next to me, latching on my left hand. My left bicep is nestling comfortably in her lovely cleavage.

I'm wearing a uniform of Lugnica Royal Knights from Re: Zero — Starting Life in Another World from Zero. The base color is still white, but the blue linings are changed to yellow to match Legendary Bow's theme. I look cool and intimidating, and it is an image that I need for my plan for this kingdom and this whole world.

Meanwhile, Artemis is wearing a simple white one-piece worn by Jeanne D'Arc at the end of Fate/Apocryphal when she finally met Sieg in the Reverse Side of the World. I've braided her hair too, giving Artemis a simple yet pure and sacred appearance.

There is a maid leading us to our destination.

As we make my way to the throne room, we are gathering attention to ourselves. Soldiers and castle's attendants are looking at us in awe and apparently speechless. There are gazes containing desires on us.

I am holding back myself from eradicating the undisciplined soldiers who dare to look at Artemis with perverted desires. Yet, I am relishing the lovestruck gaze and admiration of the maids.

Yeah, I'm a hypocrite. So, sue me.

Artemis is disregarding all the lustful, awed, and speechless gazes directed on her, enjoying our closeness as we walk to our destination. I've realized that she's very clingy.

After a while, we arrive in front of the doors that separate the hall and the throne room. One of the soldiers who guard the doors then announces our arrival.

"The Bow Hero and the Spirit of the Legendary Bow enter!"

The doors open, and we walk in. The throne room is similar to the one that I remember in anime. I see Aultcray sitting on his throne while the other throne, that MILF of the Queen's throne, is empty. His aide, the same short man with a shifty appearance, is standing next to him.

There are also adventurers, my so-called companions. All of Itsuki's and Motoyasu's companions in the source materials are there. One of the female adventurers look prettier than the rest, and my attention unintentionally lingers on her a bit longer. She's almost matching Artemis's supernatural charm.

Her beautiful face is framed by her long red hair. Her green eyes are inspecting us one by one before shining in mock excitement. I can guess her identity. Her red hair and green eyes are pretty much a dead giveaway. She is Bitch, the first daughter of Trash and the MILF of Queen of this country.

All attention in the room is fixed on us, yet we disregard all of them. Our gazes are fixed on Aultcray, waiting for him to start this meeting. There's a brief awkward silence as everyone else expects us to bow in deference to the king. However, we stand straight and watch Aultcray impassively.

After a while, Aultcray realizes that we won't bow at him. He clears his throat and says, "Bow Hero and the Spirit of the Legendary Bow…"

"Artemis, my name is Artemis. Call me that." Artemis cuts Aultcray off.

Aultcray is speechless for a short while before recovering. "Very well, then. Bow Hero, and Lady Artemis. My name is Aultcray Melromarc the thirty-second. I'm the ruler of this country—"

"A lie," Artemis cuts Aultcray off again, her voice blunt and flat as ever. If you look at her face closely and know where to look, she seems displeased. I guess Artemis hates liar due to her nature as a spirit.

Unlike me who can block even the World's Spirit from reading my mind, Aultcray is no different from an open book in Artemis's perspective.

She continues, "You're not the ruler of this country. This country is a matriarchal country, and the queen who isn't here is the real ruler. Don't lie to spirits. We hate liars."

I want to laugh, but I hold myself from bursting into a fit of laughter. This is so rich! I never expected Artemis would do this, testing Aultcray's patience. Yet, the most surprising thing is that Aultcray can control his temper and has yet to snap at her. I guess he doesn't dare to do so because it's Artemis, the manifestation of the Legendary Bow, who's talking to him.

"Excuse me, Lady Artemis—"

"Quiet!" Artemis tells off the aide of Aultcray, shutting him up. She never moved her attention away from Aultcray. "I'm talking with the former vassal—"

"Alright! I apologize if I've offended you! Please, stop! Lady Artemis!" Aultcray hastily pleads to Artemis to stop when she's about to speak about this country's secret, that Aultcray has lost the allegiance of the Vassal Staff.

I already know about this secret because of my foreknowledge.

"Alright, you have picked up the king long enough, Artemis. Lay it off or our talk won't proceed."

Artemis shifts her attention to me. Her face seems emotionless as always, but I feel that she's displeased by my instruction. It seems like she has yet to feel satisfied with bullying Aultcray.

She suddenly glows and transforms back to her Legendary Bow's Small Bow form. I've used my Omnipotence to regenerate my SP instantly, so she can stay in her humanoid form indefinitely. Yet, she has returned to her Legendary Bow form. I guess she's sulking at me and show how displeased she is by doing that.

I smile wryly at her action before shifting my attention to everyone else. I see their reaction from Artemis's transformation. They look awed and apparently speechless. Even Aultcray isn't excluded.

"So," I start, snapping them out of their shock, "Can we talk business now?"

"Alright, then. Tell me your name, Bow Hero."

I narrow my eyes when I sense Aultcray's condescending attitude. It seems like he's trying to appear more powerful than me. I understand why he does that power play. He is a king who needs to show him power in front of his subject to keep his subject's administration and loyalty. But, it doesn't mean I like it.

[He's a jerk. That's why the Vassal Staff leaves him. Hero, do what you've done to the Shadow Human last night to him!]

I chortle at the message in my field of vision. Isn't my Artemis precious?

(That's tempting offer. I'd just do that if I'm still annoyed, but I've calmed down. That doesn't mean I'm going to leave him 'unpunished'. I'm going to spook him.) I project my thoughts to the Legendary Bow.

To be honest, I don't know why my mind and soul are protected by outside interference, but I guess it's a fail-safe God put on there, so someone dangerous won't be able to control me and my power.

I'm very grateful of this because without it, my Isekai Adventure would've ended before it can properly start. I was close to my second death when I was in that Spirit Realm.

I fix my attention on Aultcray and use my Omnipotence to generate spooky sensation and intangible weight on their body. They immediately sway on their spot, groaning in discomfort or yelping in surprise.

Some can control their body and endure the sudden 'pressure'. But the unfortunate ones collapse on the ground. No one has lost their consciousness because I want everyone in this room remember this event for the rest of their life.

In the beginning, their expression was set into incredulity and confusion because of the sudden 'pressure', then dawning realization, and finally fear and awe. Their attention is fixed on me.

"Bow Hero, please stop this! I apologize if I've offended you. Please stop what you're doing!" Aultcray pleads from his spot, slouching heavily on his throne. His face displays his anxiety and exertion.

"Hmph!" I snort at him. "I don't like how you were doing that meaningless power plays. Remember to never repeat it again."

After giving a piece of my mind, I release the 'pressure' weighing them down. They immediately breathe loudly, relieved.

"I humbly apologize for my unsightly behavior, Bow Hero," says Aultcray after recovering.

"You're forgiven. Now, you wanted me to introduce myself, did you? Very well, then. My name is Roland Quinto. I'm almost twenty years old, and a university's student. That's it."

"Very well, then. Roland. Now then, I shall begin with an explanation. This country, no, this whole world is—"

"Don't waste my time, King Aultcray. I've met the World's Spirit. When I was unconscious, I was in the Spirit Realm and had a discussion with the will of the world, which is basically the God of this world. I already know about the whole Wave of Destruction business and what expected of me as Bow Hero," I wave off Aultcray's attempt to explain.

"What?" He seems speechless. Well, everyone else seems speechless too.

I disregard his reaction and continue, saying, "I'll start my adventure now. And I'll do it alone. Well, Artemis will accompany me. I'm not powerless and clueless about this world. You won't have a problem, right?"

I watch him intensely, daring him to deny my will.

"Very well, then. If it was your desire, then so be it. Haaah…" Aultcray sighs helplessly at the end.

"Now, then. I must leave now. Farewell, king and everyone else."

Ignoring the betrayed and angry looks of those troublemakers disguising as adventurers, I turn around and walk off, never looking back.

I'm tempted to eradicate Bitch because of her status as Fake Goddess's soul fragment, but I hold myself. I'll deal with that Fake Goddess, her fragments, and her reincarnated champions at once…after I get Glass.
