A Dragon Playdate

Ross's POV:

I sat Killian down on a pile of gold in my treasure hoard and purred at him, having successfully stolen him from Sera. I curled my dragon form around him and looked at the door protectively as he giggled and rubbed my scales in excitement. Sera stood at the door, her arms crossed as she watched us. "Ross, Killian needs to go to a room upstairs and to bed. You can't keep him down here and hoarded away from a nice soft bed." I purred at her in amusement.

"He likes me though," I told her. "You can join if you want Sera."

"Ross, don't deny him a comfortable bed." She shook her head at me and put her hands on her hips. I puffed out a small ball of smoke in defeat, not wanting to deny my coin's lover what she wanted. I shifted to a larger form and picked the child up by his bloody shirt in my teeth and carried him over to her. She reached out and took him from me. "Hi sweetie, let's get you cleaned up and put to bed." She carried him off then. I watched her go then tensed up when I caught the scent of intruders. I growled and shifted small enough to fit through the door, storming up the stairs to the first floor and then let out a roar. I saw a white haired male standing at the doorway with a girl and a small, German Shepard sized dragon on his shoulder. I snarled and hissed. The dragon tensed up and his eyes landed on me. Aurelio and Kingsley were walking up to them to greet them. The dragon let out a protective growl. The girl giggled and disappeared then. The white haired male tensed up and rubbed the dragon's head quickly.

"Shhhhh, Toma, it's alright," he told him quickly, looking worried. I narrowed my eyes and looked at the male then at this dragon invading my territory- Toma. I looked towards Aurelio and hissed. He did this!

"Toma- Ross. Ross- Toma." Aurelio looked pleased. Toma looked me over and jumped down onto the ground and started for me with a growl. I growled back at him and watched him closely, keeping my ground.

"Aurelio," I hissed in anger at him. "You did this, didn't you?"

"Of course~" Aurelio said. Toma stopped coming towards me, puffing up in a growl, reading himself incase I pounced at him. I watched Toma and then frowned a bit.

"You're so not on my good side," I hissed at Aurelio then looked the little dragon over. He's a decent size for being four. I stayed where I was, deciding not to make a move he might think aggressive. He's so small he's going to try to be defensive and he'll attack me if he thinks he or his treasure are in danger. I shifted to his size then, not wanting him to feel too threatened but not wanting to go any smaller incase he was a little devil. He glared me down in distaste and tensed up even more as my size shifted. I watched him and then sat, trying not to look threatening as I did my best not to let my anger show. He stayed his ground, not moving an inch as he looked like he was waiting for my move. Toma was solid black, I could tell he was a night dragon, stealthy in the night and hides in the shadows. He had a gift for speed. It'd be bad if I got into a fight with him... especially if he was older. I tensed up as I looked him over then glared at Aurelio before I looked at Toma. Crap... I don't want to do anything... but I can't risk a bad fight in my home. Sera wouldn't be pleased. I swallowed my pride and then started to lower myself to the ground to be non threatening and then laid down on my side, exposing my stomach and throat to show him I meant no harm. This is so embarrassing.... I'll eat Aurelio for this! Toma watched me in confusion like he's never seen this before. He's probably never met another dragon that didn't immediately bully him because of his age. I flicked my ears a bit in annoyance and then watched Toma as I stayed where I was, puffing out a bit of smoke in irritation for the whole situation. Toma let out a puff of fire then, aiming it at me. I yelped and quickly got to my feet, jumping out of the way then summoned water to put the fire out. I saw the white haired male looking at me in awe as he saw the water.

"Whoa," he whispered and then laughed. "That's so cool! I didn't know there were dragons that could do that." I looked at him and flicked my tail. Is he for real? He hasn't stopped his pipsqueak at all! I looked at Toma in irritation.

"Don't spit fire at me," I told him firmly.

"You don't tell me what to do," Toma hissed, coming for me then in anger. Oh, he's spoiled.

"I am your senior," I told him and kept the growl from my voice, doing my best to restrain myself. "You're in my territory and my treasure hoard. Don't threaten me," I hissed lightly, keeping my ground. He gave me an annoyed look as he stopped coming for me.

"Treasure, I want to go home," he told him and started for his treasure, jumping back into his arms. He sighed softly and rubbed his head.

"I know... I didn't think there'd be another dragon here," he whispered to Toma and then looked at Aurelio. "Aurelio, I don't think that this was very wise, not telling me about the other dragon here. I'm taking him home before he gets hurt." I smirked and then raised my head up in victory. THAT'S RIGHT AURELIO! YOU LOST!

"What? How could it be a bad idea? This is really good for them. Especially since Ross is a great dragon. He's had a mate before and probably kids. He was really good with Killian just now. I think it'll be a great idea for Toma in meet a senior dragon that's had a whole life and is calm." Toma looked away from us and clung to his treasure. His treasure held him a little closer.

"W-well... he's not ready for another dragon," he whispered. "Toma still worries about other dragons trying to take me. He had a run in with a Chinese dragon recently that tried to take Toma's things and me from him."

"Well now he can meet a dragon that isn't like that. Come on Toma, you can open up to Ross. He'll even show you his treasure hoard and you two can go play in it." Aurelio suggested.

"Treasure?" Toma asked with interest. I widened my eyes.

"No! My treasure!" I cried out and ran for the door that lead to my treasure hoard, blocking it.

"Okay, maybe not that." Aurelio purred with amusement. Toma sniffled and clung to his treasure's shirt. I glared at Aurelio and shifted larger, starting for him with anger for inviting Toma. Kingsley got in front of him quickly.

"Ross, don't you dare come after my friend." Kingsley gave me a firm look. I narrowed my eyes slightly at him but only puffed out smoke at them and turned away in annoyance, looking at Toma before I went over to them and looked the little dragon over before I sighed and picked him up in my jaws, starting to carry him towards the door in defeat. He better not take anything from me.... I heard Toma's treasure hesitantly stepping after us but he stopped and fidgeted nervously. Toma's heart started to pound fast to the point at which I could hear it. Poor guy couldn't even shift sizes to get away from me. I loosened up my hold on him enough to where it wouldn't be too uncomfortable for him and went through the door carefully, taking him down to my treasure room. I sat him down on a pile of gold when I got through the second door and watched him closely.

"Don't take any of my treasure," I warned him. He looked down at the gold in wonder and started to play in it, giggling and ignored me. I watched him closely and sat down, curling up on my gold as I watched him running through my gold in excitement. I've only really had one other dragon down here with me... when I tried out mating... but none of the eggs had survived, and she was too grouchy. I kicked her out quickly when the eggs got too cold from her neglect. He crashed into one of the golden coffins and fell inside it, the lid closing on him. I laughed a little bit, watching in amusement. He's actually not that bad. He's kinda cute... for a dragon. I leaned over and nuzzled the coffin open for him then watched him. He had curled up inside with a pile of gold and was purring in delight. I laughed and then looked him over. "You're not that bad," I mumbled and then looked at him curiously before I licked his body to see if he was calmer than before. He looked disgusted as I pulled away and made a freaked out face like he'd never had that happen before. I could taste some of the oils he bathed in from the lick. He's one of those dragons... one of the ones that like all those oils. I purred in amusement. "Bet that never happened to you before," I teased him. "If you live with other dragons, it's common."

"C-common?" He asked and then shook his head. "I'm never going back to the dragon realm!" I laughed at him.

"Well if it makes you feel better, I was freaked out the first time I had another dragon down here and she licked me," I told him and watched him. "She had been raised in the dragon realm."

"So you had a mate before?" He asked softly.

"Yeah," I told him and laid down by the coffin. "She was born and raised in the dragon realm... but she wasn't a good mother. She let our eggs die and would neglect them. I never managed to see one hatch, and she was too much to handle, constantly growling at me and getting into fights with me when I would tell her she wasn't doing good with the eggs," I mumbled. "I kicked her out because of it... and I haven't gone looking for another mate since. It's too much work... and kids are difficult." I laughed and looked at him. "Besides, I had my precious coin and his lover to take care of. I didn't need a mate."

"Your coin is like my treasure?" He asked me. I nodded.

"Yeah, my coin was there when I hatched.... He raised me along with his lover," I told him and then laid my head down on the gold. "He died though... and now my jewel has taken his place on my coin's throne...."

"Kingsley?" He asked.

"Yeah, he is called Kingsley by the others," I told him and looked over at him. His eyes wondered across the treasure before he curled up on the soft coffin and let out a tired puff. "So you're named Toma huh?" I asked him and looked in at him. "You're a good size for being four," I told him.

"Treasure named me Toma," Toma told me. "Thank you. I eat the best of the best. Honey and sugar mostly. Sometimes fish and lamb.... I just got off of DT. I drink lots of milk too." I nodded.

"That's good... but it sounds like you're a little spoiled," I purred in amusement.

"I'm four," he told me. "I should be."

"What happens when you get older?" I teased.

"I don't know cause I'm just four."

"Do you treat your treasure well?" I asked curiously. "He seems over attached to you."

"I protect him well from enemies," he told me. "No one will take him from me."

"Well, you won't find someone here trying to take him from you," I promised him. "He's safe.... I don't take other dragon's things as long as they don't take mine."

"I don't need your things. I've got my treasure and that's what matters." I purred at him saying that.

"Good," I told him and then looked around my treasure hoard before I got up and shook the gold pieces off my body and then walked over to where I had a few oils that I used sometimes. I picked one up then looked it over before I took it to him and put it in the coffin with him. "You can have that for while you're here. It's a good one, and I licked some of your oils off you." He looked at it in interest before pushing it into the coffin and smelled it. "It's rose scented," I hummed out. "Sera likes that one on me." He purred and curled up around it. I purred in amusement then took it and opened it, changing into my human form then put some on him to treat him, rubbing it into his scales to let him see what it was like. He moaned softly and let me rub it onto him.

"It smells so good," he mumbled.

"Because Sera bought it," I whispered. "She buys things for the scent, not the color," I told him. "The gold oils are nice... but it's hard to find a really good scented gold one because the ones who make it don't take scents into account as often." I purred in amusement and knelt down by the coffin, rubbing it into his scales and then onto his wings gently. He raised his wings for me and fluttered them a bit. I smiled softly, relaxing as I watched him then got his wings down before I started to rub some on his belly and neck. He rolled over onto his back, pleased looking. He's not that bad.... I purred happily and got his belly really good, feeling it softening at the oil's touch then did his head, getting under his chin. He melted as I hit a spot under his chin. His body completely relaxed at my touch. I laughed a little. "So that's where your favorite spot is, huh?" I hummed out and started to rub it, focusing on it as I put a little more oil there. He let out a pleased moan and closed his eyes. He's spoiled, that's for sure, but at least he's not too old where being spoiled becomes a problem. I laughed and left the spot, getting the rest of him before I put the cap on the oil and started to gently rub the spot again. He looked like he was starting to drift asleep at my touch, tiring out fast. I watched him curiously and then pulled my hand away when he fell asleep. I looked him over then sighed. "I'll still have to get Aurelio back for this," I muttered and then smiled, pulling away from the coffin and collapsed in my gold. I purred happily and then curled up in it, falling asleep quickly at the feel of my treasure against my skin as I didn't bother shifting into my dragon form.

~~~
I woke up at the sound of gold clattering against each other. A small morning groan came out of the small dragon I met last night. Then I heard his stomach growl with hunger. It was around lunchtime during the day. I opened my eyes slowly and lifted my head inch by inch, trying not to draw attention to myself as I looked towards him, keeping my breathing even. He's up huh? He was just managing to slip out of the coffin and was searching for the exit. I got to my feet and scooped him up. "Come on, I'll make you breakfast," I told him, placing him on my shoulder. I hummed softly as I walked out of my treasure hoard and up the stairs towards the kitchen. He clung to my skin and sniffed my body, relaxing on my shoulder. I looked towards him curiously. "Why're you smelling me?" I asked him softly, teasing him. "You know me from last night." He wrapped his body around my neck and nipped at my ear.
"You smell good," he told me. I blushed a bit and laughed.
"Well yeah, I use the rose stuff," I whispered to him, rubbing his head. He's a lot more friendly..... He slipped off my body after we got off the stairs and transformed into his human form, a small little boy. He grabbed my hand quickly and followed me. "Do you want some clothes or do you not care for them?" I asked him curiously, looking towards him. I don't normally bother with clothes unless I plan to stay in this form for a long time....
"Dmitri tries to keep me in clothes when I'm in this form...." He mumbled and rubbed his eyes.
"Well, I'm not asking what Dmitri does. I want to know if you want them or if you're comfortable walking around without them," I hummed out, ruffling his head.
"Doesn't matter to me," he hummed back. I smiled then.
"Okay, we won't bother with getting clothes then unless one of Sera's maids spots us. I don't want them reporting to Sera I was walking around like this for too long," I told him then took him into the kitchen and sat him down on the counter. I started to rummage through the refrigerator then pulled out some eggs. "Want an omelet?" I asked him.
"Ewe!" He said quickly.
"No?" I looked towards him then sat the eggs down. He must not like the idea of eating little chicken eggs.... I started to look through the refrigerator then pulled out a package of lamb and showed it to him, looking for his approval. His mouth started to water then as he nodded. I smirked and put the eggs back then shut the door. "Cooked or uncooked?" I asked curiously, not sure if he liked the taste of blood with it or not.
"Cooked! Who would eat it uncooked? Yuck!" My mate.... I held back a laugh.
"You'd be surprised if you met a dragon from our realm," I told him then started to get down a pan and put it on it then searched around for some honey and sugar and dumped it on top before I put it in the oven to cook. He got off the counter and went to the fridge, opening it and pulled out a carton of milk and looked at me beggingly. I laughed and took it from him, getting a glass down then poured some in it then mixed some honey into it to spoil him. I handed it over and put the milk carton up. He started to drink it down greedily, sitting down in the floor with it. I purred and then leaned against the refrigerator as I watched him. "Do you want DT or none?"
"Nu-uh!" He told me. "I'm off DT."
"Alright," I hummed out. "I wasn't sure if you felt safer with it or not. I think there is some DT in the cabinets from when I was younger."
"Dmitri said I don't have to be on it anymore," he told me. I laughed and nodded.
"Okay," I purred at him then sat down on the floor by the refrigerator. "Do you want me to teach you some tricks?"
"What tricks?" He asked and sipped on his honey milk.
"I might be able to teach you how to change your size a bit. You won't be able to get much larger than that, but you'll be able to get smaller if you want," I told him and looked him over. "There's a chance you can pull it off at your age if you're talented."
"No I can't," he told me. "That's for grown dragons."
"It is," I purred in amusement. "Doesn't mean you can't try though."
"Nu-uh. I might not grow afterwards." I laughed.
"You're worried about that?"
"Wouldn't you be?" He asked. "I want to get bigger so I can take on dragons that challenge me." I nodded.
"You'll want to be bigger too so that when you find a mate, she won't take advantage of you," I hummed out.
"Or he," he told me.
"You can't have kids if you mate with a he," I told him softly. "Not unless you get a wizard to teach you how."
"I'll mate with a he and have kids with him, just watch." He smiled huge. "Then I'll get rid of him when I get my children to eat." I widened my eyes as I watched him. Holy fuck. That kid is insane.... I sunk down against the fridge, watching him.
"That's... not what you should be wanting," I whispered.
"I wasn't serious," he told me and giggled. "I don't eat dragons unless they're after my treasure and are much smaller than me." I relaxed a little.
"Treasure as in your gold or your person?" I asked him curiously, wondering if he made the distinction between the two or if he meant both.
"Both," he told me as he finished off the glass.
"What about when he wants a lover?" I asked curiously, sitting up as I watched him. He might be really possessive....
"He wouldn't want a lover after what I did to the disgusting girl he tried to go out with years ago. Nu-uh. If he's mating then I pick the mate." I laughed and nodded.
"Makes sense. You'd only want the best possible lover for him."
"I suggested he could mate with his Laurence or Charles because they're gifted fledglings." He purred.
"Let me guess though, they're taken," I purred in amusement. That or Dmitri doesn't want a lover just yet.
"Yeah sort of. One is taken but the other is sort of deciding." Toma got to his feet and looked at the oven and licked his lips. I got to my feet and walked up to him, rubbing his head.
"Have you thought about whether you're going to leave the nest when you're older or if you're going to stay with him?" I asked softly, knowing I had a hard time making that decision on whether or not to stay with my coin or go off and live in a dragon hoard with a mate. I eventually chose to bring a mate here though... where my coin was.
"My treasure is coming with me," he told me and smiled big. I nodded and then opened the oven, pulling it out and then put it on a plate for him and gave it up.
"You'll have to be careful to make sure your mate doesn't try to eat him," I warned. "Some dragons do that." He sat down with the plate and turned into a dragon.
"Well I'll make sure my mate knows that if he eats my treasure then he'll be shredded to pieces so I can get my treasure back." He started to eat the hot lamb. I nodded and purred in amusement.
"Are you so set on having a male mate?" I teased him.
"I don't know. I don't care. Everyone I know is mated to a male." He purred. "So it must be interesting."
"Well... do you know how mating works?" I asked him curiously. "I mean... I guess mating with a male would be interesting. It's a lot simpler with a male. Your mate would get enjoyment out of it quickly and it's easier to pleasure them."
"Yeah~ I'd give him lots and lots and lots of attention," he said innocently. "Tons of kisses." I laughed and looked him over. He's four. I probably shouldn't tell him everything.
"Well, you see... they like kisses just like girls do, but they like being touched," I hummed out to him. "If you're interested in easier pleasure with a mate, then you could pick a male for that and get it. If you pick a female, you have the potential of having kids but they're a little harder to pleasure because it takes longer."
"Well I want the best of the best," he told me. "I'll find the best of the best and make it mine." I laughed in amusement and rubbed his head.
"Okay, but keep an open mind kiddo," I told him and then ran my fingers down his back. "You might find what you're looking for in a female... maybe even another species." He leaned his head against my hand and laid down. I smiled and started for the spot under his chin quickly. "If you want a mate, you could start looking when you're about thirty or fifty, maybe earlier if you're brave." He melted against my touch.
"I'm just four," he told me. "I don't need to worry about it." I nodded and purred to him then scooped him up when he finished eating. I started to carry him towards the door then.
"What do you want to do?" I purred to him. "We could go outside and fly or we could go play in my treasure some more."
"Let's go fly!" He said in excitement. "You can teach me to master height!" I nodded.
"You'll get stronger faster if you do it more often," I told him and purred. "You should go outside when Dmitri sleeps and fly around," I suggested as I carried him outside and then down the stairs. I sat him down on a bench by the garden out front and looked at him. "You can fly, right?"
"Just a little..." He whispered. "I haven't flown over ten feet." I nodded.
"Try it," I told him and sat down on the bench by him. "I'll watch and see if I know any tricks to help you." He started to stretch his wings then before flapping them and stepped off the bench, flying up to around ten feet. I watched his body closely and then looked his wings over. "Try shaping the air and focus on breathing in time with your wings so you don't forget to breath," I told him and crossed my legs as I leaned back on my hands to watch. He dropped three feet quickly before going back to his max height. I tsked softly as I watched him and then shifted into a form slightly larger than his and flew up to him. I flew under his wings, trying to help him shape the air and help him rise. He fell on top of me suddenly and knocked us both down to the ground. I groaned and looked at him. "You don't fly often, do you?" I asked him. He crawled off of me and sneezed.
"No," he told me. I watched him then shifted to about the size of a horse and grabbed his body in my front paws, lifting up into the air with the added push of my back legs. I soared up high into the sky and started to glide on the air, holding him around his body so he could move his wings. He started to flap his wings, outstretching them as we flew. I purred to him and adjusted my hold on him a bit.
"There, try to get a feel for what I'm doing with my wings and try it a bit with yours. I'll hold you till you think you can glide with me." He looked towards my wings and started to copy me. I purred and adjusted him to where he could see better. "Powerful down strokes," I told him softly. "It helps you rise better and stretching out your wings helps you glide more. Gliding is helpful when you get tired too. It doesn't take as much effort and if you're going fast enough, you can get somewhere without having to use as much energy. You should honestly practice gliding at a young age.... I'll put you in a tree and have you do it like owlets do, glide from branch to branch."
"Owls?" He asked in confusion.
"Owls," I told him and laughed. "You do know what an owl is, right?"
"A bird?" He asked.
"It's a type of nocturnal bird that hunts small rodents," I purred to him. "The young glide in the tree branches to learn to fly. It's easier to do because it happens in small bursts and you can learn to master your wings." He looked at me in awe. I laughed a little. "Would you like to try that?" He looked up at me as he fluttered his wings, coping mine.
"Maybe," he told me.
"We will try it later," I promised him and then looked at him. "Do you want to try without me holding you yet? I'll catch you if you plummet." He looked fearful then.
"No," he told me. I purred to him.
"Don't be afraid," I told him. "You'll surely fall if you're afraid."
"I'm afraid!" He told me.
"You're a strong, powerful, mighty dragon," I purred at him. "You're the master of the skies. You will eventually not fall, but you have me to catch you. Don't be afraid." He curled his wings into his sides. "Toma," I mumbled. "Don't give up like that. You don't know how long your treasure will stay and then you'll have to do this on your own because I will not follow you from my treasure hoard." He whined before he opened his wings back out and stretched them. I purred to him and turned in the air, letting him get a feel of how the wind would shape around his wings during a turn and stayed quiet as I let him focus on the feel of it. I lowered in altitude a bit, showing him the different moves. He followed my wings with his, watching my every movement. I loosened up a little on him slowly, doing it so he wouldn't notice as I performed a little experiment on him. I slowly let him go to see if he would be able to handle it. He yelped as I let him go and he started to panic in fear. I purred comforting to him. "Calm down and copy my wings," I told him softly, making sure not to let a foot between us as I stayed over him. He watched my wings and started to copy me, trying to stay in the air and not fall. I purred to him and watched him closely, watching to make sure I would grab him if he started to plummet. "There we go," I told him softly, comforting him. "You're doing it," I purred. He looked down and then back up at me, fear in his eyes. "Shh, calm down," I told him softly. "Don't panic. If you panic, you will miss something I do with my wings and I'll have to grab you again." He focused on my wings again before he reached out for me. I laughed softly and gently pulled him out of the air, holding him in my talons to let him rest and focus on my wing movements again without the fear of falling. He watched my wings and started to rest his. "See, you can do it," I told him softly. "You didn't fall, and you're doing very good for a four year old who hasn't really flown much." He rested his head against me and closed his eyes. I smiled softly at him and then decided to let him rest and curl up in my talons, choosing to let him enjoy the flight up here as I started to fly us towards the sea, speeding up my flight. He opened his eyes and watched where we was going. I flew us to the sea and started to lower us over it to where it was a few inches under me and purred at him in amusement as I let him get really close to it. He reached out and touched the water, looking at it and roared at it. I laughed a bit and then looked at him.
"Hold your breath," I told him and held back a laugh as I got an idea. He closed his mouth then after catching a deep breath. I purred and dove into the water, my water breathing ability kicking in as I started to count the seconds so I wouldn't drown Toma. I used my wings to get us lower in the sea quickly, showing him some of the fish before I got to fifteen and then flew up out of the water fast, expanding my wings against the sky as I lifted us out of it. He took in a deep breath, looking around at the water.
"There's fish!" He told me. I laughed and looked at him.
"Uh huh, lots of fish," I told him. "They live in the sea and lakes."
"Rei makes sushi for us in Japan," he told me. "Sushi is so good." I purred in amusement and nodded.
"You want me to catch you a fish?"
"Yeah!" He said in excitement.
"Hold your breath again," I told him and lowered myself back down to the water, gazing down into it for a good spot to dive. He held his breath, ready for the dive. I dove in quickly and then went down deep into the ocean, spotting my favorite kind of fish quickly. I snapped my jaws at it and caught it then got out of the water for Toma so he could breath. I held the wiggling fish in my mouth and bit down into it hard, killing it then looked at him, giving it to him. He bit into it and looked pleased at me. I laughed and then licked my lips clean from the blood before I flew us back to land and then to the castle as he feasted on the fish I caught him. I landed at the castle doors, gently putting him on the ground then settled down beside him. He ripped into the fish, eating it as he laid down by me and let out a growl towards the dead fish. I laughed in amusement and watched him before I started to lick him, cleaning the sea off his scales. He stopped eating and froze up as I cleaned him, a piece of the fish hung out of his mouth. I watched him and slowed down a bit to try not to freak him out too bad as I licked him. He continued eating then, letting me lick him. I purred to him and got behind his ears. He finished up eating the fish and moved closer to my body. I lifted up one of my front paws to let him get up against my chest, pulling my face away from his body as I finished cleaning him. He curled up and yawned towards me. I purred to him and looked at the setting sun before I picked his body up in my jaws and started to carry him back inside before Sera could wake and find us out here. I took him down to the treasure hoard and put him in the coffin he liked last night. He curled up in it and looked towards me and purred. I purred at him and then laid down in my gold near the coffin, pulling my tail close to me and then fluttered my wings against my body. I could hear life starting up in the house as the sun went down, the vampires waking up. He moved out of the coffin and laid down next to me, laying his head against my body. I purred to him and watched him.
"You're not that bad," I mumbled to him and then shifted to about his size, slightly larger to curl up with him. He let out a small purr towards me and got under my wing. I laughed and lifted it a bit more to let him, shifting a bit bigger again to allow him to lay under it completely. He purred as he stole my heat. I laughed a little at him and then pulled my wing down against his body playfully, concealing him completely. I heard him cackle as I done so. I laughed and started to rub my wing against him a bit, teasing him as I made sure to keep my wing flat against my body as I could with him there. I heard Sera come into the room then with a sweet purr....
