Blood House

Silas's POV:

I sat down at the bar in front of Travis with a smirk as Dmitri sat beside me. "White Russians," he said to Travis, putting money down on the counter for it. "Two." Tonight was the night I was going to get my file then head over to my new post. It'll be interesting to run my own post rather than direct the post leaders in what they can do and instruct them.... Travis gave a small laugh before setting two White Russians for us. He handed them over in amusement.

"So- I never expected a leader to be quite so sexy. She stopped by again earlier and dropped something off with your name on it. Here," He reached down under the bar and pulled out a brief case before sitting it down by me. "Too bad.... I think she's a lesbian," he sighed out. "I suppose it makes sense." He scratched at his neck before cleaning a glass. I raised an eyebrow. A lesbian? I guess she could be.... Anyone could be, and I can't judge. I'm gay. I laughed and then took the brief case, looking it over before I clicked it open and looked inside for it's contents.

"We'll drink up then go," Dmitri purred under his breath to me. "Let's not stay for long." I nodded and glanced his way before I looked inside and pulled out the papers. Well, here's one for the kingdom.... I flipped through the pages, skimming the address and details before I tossed it back inside the brief case, downed my drink, and got to my feet.

"Let's get going," I purred, shutting the lid. Dmitri frowned.

"I didn't mean that fast!" He said in frustration. He groaned and started to drink. "I really should just ditch you and make you drive yourself around!"

"Oh? You'd leave me? Well, when the time comes for me to pick those around me wisely, I'll remember that," I teased him, earning a small glare from him.

"You're welcome to stay with me for a while," Travis suggested to Dmitri. "I like you." Dmitri looked towards Travis and laughed.

"I get the feeling you'd drain me in the back then sell my blood up front," he joked, taking a sip of his drink.

"He probably would. He's the desperate kind," I teased Dmitri. "We'll drain you together~ You little traitor."

"I'm not a traitor!" He frowned my way then.

"But you were willing to abandon me," I purred to him. "That's not very loyal at all."

"Ugh, you know I was just kidding with you," he purred back and smirked.

"I rather sell human blood or a pureblood's blood.... Your blood is no good to me." Travis let out a sigh as he watched us.

"See, he would drain me if I was a pureblood or a human. He'd drain YOU if you stayed," he teased me and chuckled. "Watch out Silas, you're going to a blood house and they might try to take you," he joked and took another sip of his drink.

"Blood house?" Travis asked and chuckled. "That's a perfect place to camp."

"What, you want to come?" I asked Travis and raised an eyebrow. "You could ditch this popsicle stand," I purred and leaned over the counter a bit. He purred as he looked me over and leaned over a bit.

"For the true resistance leader? I would ditch. It's about time you came home," he purred. "Silas." I widened my eyes slightly then felt a small purr escape me as my crystal pulsed a little at his words. The true resistance leader....

"Then come with me," I whispered to him and smirked. "You can help me run the blood house, and if I get promoted, I'll take you with me."

"I love it when you talk dirty to me," he laughed out and purred. "I think we have a deal." I smirked then yanked him over the counter.

"Alright, let's get going," I purred and started for the door. Dmitri scrambled to his feet and came after us quickly, following at my side. I've got my little band.... It won't be much longer before I have the entire resistance's trust back. Travis laughed as he wrapped an arm around my neck.

"You know, I think I like you too."

"You should like me too," I purred at him and smirked. "After all, I used to be your top leader."

"Yeah? You got a little soft there. Babying your older brother's little thoughts. Oh excuse me... Your adopted brother. Why don't you just convert him? It's not that hard to convince fangs that human blood tastes way better." I paused in my steps then looked at him in surprise then frowned. Convert him.... I looked him over before I started to walk with him again.

"I could," I mumbled, telling him that so he wouldn't get suspicious. I frowned as I thought it over. Why didn't I do it before? Is biting humans really wrong? Taking their blood by force? They are less superior than us... and predators kill prey all the time in the wilds.... We were born with fangs for a reason... but then... humans have rights to life as well... but so do the animals in the wilds. It's just the natural way of things....

"I think converting your brother would be a huge leap with the resistance. Especially since he's a goodie two shoes." He laughed then. "If he can be converted then so can the rest of the council. We wouldn't need a war if they loosened up on the laws." I purred at the thought. All this work wouldn't matter.... I would be free to do as I pleased. I smirked then. Maybe... just maybe... the resistance has a few points. Of course they do, and I've done my best to meet the ones with no alternative half way... while going after the ones that are stubborn.... Maybe I should change the way vampires think. I could do it. Humans really are our prey. I can set it up to where humans know about us and where humans maybe aren't killed but they are still giving blood to us. If the human race knew about us and were under our thumbs enough to where they couldn't kill us, we'd take our rightful place as the dominant species on the planet- all supernaturals.

"You're right. If my brother can be converted, so can everyone else," I purred to him. Dmitri looked towards me in interest then and slight confusion. "This is right...." I should do this. No more fighting between me and my brother Lyle. No more conflict between the resistance and the council. No more.

"Everyone?" Travis asked and chuckled. "We just have to figure out what to do about the hunters."

"Kill them," I told him quickly, the words leaving my mouth before I thought about it. "We could eliminate them from the picture... or turn them...."

"That's a fun statement," he laughed out. "Vampires need more power," he purred. "We'll frighten everyone by killing our enemies."

"Well, they'd kill us. They already kill us," I muttered then growled. They killed Colsin, and I promised Sylar I would make the world safe for him to love again. "I have my reasons." Fuck hunters. If they want to kill us, we'll go after them.

"True. It's self defense," he said thoughtfully. I sighed and pulled him outside, taking him to the car and got the backseat door for him then purred.

"Alright Travis, no turning back," I told him and laughed. He laughed and slid into the back seat.

"Why would I turn back?" Travis asked.

"Maybe you'll find something you don't like," I teased him and smirked. I shut the door on him then got in the passenger seat as Dmitri got in the car.

"We ready?"

"Yeah, let's go," I purred and gave him the address. He looked it over and nodded before he started the car and began to drive.

"No... this is a great opportunity." I glanced back at Travis and smirked.

"Yes, it is a great opportunity. Trust me, being near a royal and an ex-resistance leader is going to be great for you."

"That's why I wanted to come along," he told me. "I want this." I purred and nodded before I pulled out my phone to text Lyle.

Me: Lyle, I want to talk with you in person tonight.

Lyle: You know where to find me.

Me: I'll bring you something.

Lyle: Great! I'd like something from Starbucks?

Me: Suuuuure... but I'm bringing you a treat. You'll see when I bring it. Promise me you'll try it.

Lyle: Is it beef jerky?

Me: If you dry it out long enough.

Lyle: I don't want road kill. I told you to drive safely!

Me: I'm bringing home a human.

Lyle: That's it. You're fired. Come home right now. We'll get someone else to do your spy job.

I frowned and looked at the text before I growled slightly.

Me: No way, you're trying the human for me. Trust me, the human will consent.

Lyle: I don't want to try it.

Me: Lyle, come on. I just want you to drink a little healthier tonight. Milo can have some too.

Lyle: MILO WILL NOT! We have a blood donor.

Me: Blood donors suck.

Lyle: I don't want a blood bunny from your blood house. You sicko.

I frowned then hit call, putting the phone up to my ear and listened to it ring then growled into the phone as he picked up almost immediately. "Lyle, listen to me, I want you to humor this for one night. ONE NIGHT. You can't live off bottled blood forever. Trust me. It's not like you're going to taste it then immediately become the devil, Lyle. You'll be fine. You know I love you." I'll have to talk to Rei too, but it won't be as hard with him.... Dmitri frowned as he listened to me.

"Si-"

"Hush," I told him then looked out the window.

"I don't only live off bottled blood! I have a blood donor thank you very much and I don't want to risk getting fang aids!" Lyle hissed. "I don't nor will I accept blood from one of them down there in that blood house. That's final Silas."

"Lyle, we were born with fangs for a reason. Out in the wilds, predators have less consideration for their prey. I'm not proposing anything like that. I'm just wanting you to have some human blood that isn't only a sip," I growled at him. "Do it for me."

"Silas!" Lyle hissed. "Keep your work at away from home." He scoffed. "I'll drink from my blood donor if I want blood outside of a sip." I narrowed my eyes slightly.

"If you're going to act that way and not trust me on this, then you really do need to think," I muttered into the phone then went to hang up on him.

"I'm not hungry anyways," Lyle said and hung up. Ass. I narrowed my eyes then before I squeezed my phone slightly. He can't see beyond himself. He's too narrow minded to even try some blood. You'd think he would at least try blood for me- his brother- but no.... I pulled up Rei's number then.

Me: Rei, when you get back from France with the kids, just go ahead and come see me. Don't go to the castle.

Rei: I thought you want me to deal with Hesper.

I frowned then paused. Hesper.... He's still in the dragon realm.... I need him back where he's safe. I sighed then.

Me: I do want you to deal with Hesper. Please, I miss him.... He's not safe with that dragon.

I switched back over to Lyle then and sighed. Great, I'm going to eat my words for now so I can at least attempt to get my child back with his help.

Me: Lyle, I won't make you try the blood.

Lyle: You can't make me anyways. I'm older!

Me: I'm coming home for now though. I'll go see the blood house later. I'll drop this guy off there though.

Lyle: I seriously hope he didn't just hear us yelling at each other.

Me: He did. He was the one that suggested that I convert you lol.

Lyle: -=- Go to your filthy blood house and convert those losers to stop selling blood.

Me: Is it just me or are you acting a bit childish (insert smirking emoji)

Lyle: Go cliff diving but without a flying suit.

Me: Oh, that hurt. Maybe I won't come home lol. I don't want to come back to a rude brother.

Lyle: I don't want a brother that's trying to convert me. Tell loser face that you're not interested.

Me: Not even for the show?

Lyle: What show? What are we even talking about again?

Me: I'm coming home.

I sighed and then looked out the window as I set my phone down in my lap and waited, watching as buildings passed by. It took a bit but we finally arrived and I looked back at Travis. "Go inside and check it out for me. I have something to do," I purred to him then slipped the key from the brief case into his hands. "Make a list of things you would like to change."

"Enjoy your tough lover," he teased me as he snatched the keys. He got out of the car and stretched before heading straight for the building. I waited for him to get inside before I looked at Dmitri.

"Take me home," I said quietly. He frowned but nodded.

"What's this all about anyways? You're not serious about being in the resistance, are you? It's all an act... or at least it's supposed to be," he said with concern as he started to drive us. I sighed.

"I don't know Dmitri. I don't know."

"Are you going to join them for real and try to take over?"

"Look, all I know right now is I need to speak with my brother in person." He frowned but got quiet and turned on the radio, listening to the music.

When we arrived back at the castle, I got out quickly and started for Lyle's study, going in without knocking as I glanced around for him. "Lyle?" He was hovered over the desk, writing something down quickly, with the chair halfway across the room. A bouncy ball suddenly hit me as it bounced back from the ceiling.

"Yep?" Lyle asked as he jotted something down, revealing a phone by his ear as he scrunched over. "Yeah?" He stopped writing and sat down on the desk. "Well tell him we don't need him anymore and tell him to kiss my white butt." He hissed. "I need real vampires... not pussies." What. The. Fuck. I looked towards the ceiling in confusion and looked for the source of the bouncy ball then frowned as I didn't see something.

"What the fuck is going on?" I hissed, looking towards Lyle as I stepped towards him. I snatched the phone from him then and looked towards the caller ID to see who he was even talking to. "Who are you talking to?"

"Heyyy...." Lyle grabbed his phone back and hung up on the caller before I could see who it was. "Just some work we're working on-" He pointed to the pages he was writing on and pushed them aside to reveal a map with x's on them. "We've got a few other spies in the resistance besides you. Oh by the way...." He smacked my cheek then. "Stop letting them convert you." I yelped as it stung then quickly touched my cheek, giving him a hurt look.

"L-Lyle," I whispered then looked away from him. He smacked me.... He smacked me last night too...

"You needed that. Wake up." He hissed angrily. "We're snuffing the resistance out, not joining them." I stayed silent as I looked at the floor and rubbed my cheek. My own brother smacked me.... He grabbed my chin and brought my eyes up to look at him. "It's them or us," he hissed. "I don't want to go down tonight." He pushed me back and knelt down, picking up a bottle of Starbucks coffee and took a sip from it. "Now... where was I?" He asked softly as he went back to leaning over his pages. I frowned as I looked at him. He got back on the throne... and he's already treating me like shit.... I stiffened a bit and then sighed.

"Whatever," I mumbled. "If you're going to be hell bent over work, then I will leave you alone."

"I'm only hell bent because last night you made me realize I should have finished my work before handing a throne of responsibilities over. I should have whipped this world clean of hunters a long time ago as well as the resistance. I'm on a roll tonight and I'm not in the mood for distractions." I clenched my jaw slightly.

"So I'm a distraction?" I asked him and looked him over. "And you never should've handed the throne over?" He looked up at me.

"Don't look at me like that. That's not what I meant, Silas. I really want to get this done. I want to have a relationship with Milo damn it and if I'm busy working..." He trailed. "We both know we need to get our duties done. Why haven't you checked out your blood house? Whose this guy you've been giving your attention to?" I sighed.

"I didn't check out my blood house because I wanted to check on you," I mumbled to him and gently touched the desk. "I didn't want you upset for too long... and I didn't mean to piss you off with the whole try the blood thing. I just wanted you to try it for me... just once- and not some blood donor's blood. I should've left it alone." I really should've. We can't be fighting at all.... "The guy- he's just a bartender in the resistance. I'm bringing him along with me so I can have some extra help around the blood house."

"Oh..." He sighed. "Fine Silas...." He scrambled the papers together and stuffed them inside the desk. "We'll go try some blood together." He started for the door and groaned a bit. "Not too much. How much have you had tonight?"

"None," I whispered to him and followed after him. "Are you sure about this Lyle? I can help you with the plans you were working on instead. I would much rather you finish them before you get lost when you come back. You'd have Milo back in your arms sooner...."

"No we're doing what you wanted. Little brother needs his big brother's attention for the night. I understand."

"I'm not little," I mumbled and quickly caught up to him. "I just don't want us fighting. We worked so hard to get back on good terms with each other."

"We're not fighting. We're arguing. We've made up didn't we? How's your cheek?" I rubbed it then and frowned, feeling the slight sting in it still.

"It stings still," I told him softly. "You smacked me hard."

"Did you wake up from your night dream?" I frowned and grabbed his hand then, giving it a slight squeeze.

"I don't know.... I'm confused Lyle. It's just... well... I understand we shouldn't kill humans, but we have fangs to drink from them. I've been down this road before, thinking that humans are our destined food source and we should take what we please, but I've snapped out of that with your help, and I know you're just going to tell me that everything is wrong and that thinking that way will turn you into a monster, but have you ever sat down and thought about it? I know the resistance is wrong in some areas- the cradle robbing should stop, and the kidnapping of other supernaturals should stop- but can't we meet in the middle with them? Bring them to us somehow rather than slaughter them all? I've been trying to convert as many as I could from drinking unlawfully by the laws I've been passing, and it's worked somewhat. I've had some start coming to the blood bars I set up for them... and yes, we need to kill the hunters. I won't shake from that. They killed so many vampires- resistance and council abiding alike- and they've killed loved ones like Colsin. I promised Sylar I would get rid of them... but about the resistance...." I trailed off then looked towards him as I tensed slightly and prepared for him to lecture me. I knew he would, even if I tried to get him to think about it before telling me anything.... I treasure his opinion enough to ask this, even if I know what it is. He looked me over in deep thought, waiting on me to continue. I tensed slightly, not having expected it then hesitated.

"We could try to meet them in the middle, couldn't we? We could maybe perhaps... make it illegal to kill humans but allow them to drink from them. The animosity between the resistance and the council might die down, and if it doesn't work, there is plan b where we can just take them out... but maybe we should reveal ourselves to humans. We have revealed ourselves to our servants, and they haven't tried to kill us, and we could rule over the humans enough to where they can't kill us. We'll get rid of the hunters for good. We were born with fangs because we're supposed to feed from them. We were meant to be the dominant race- supernaturals were supposed to be. In the wilds, the predators rule, but there is a balance.... The lions are kings of the savannahs." Lyle gave me a confused look as he watched my lips.

"It doesn't seem right to do something like that- reveal our kind? Are you insane...." He shook his head. "I don't want to see a world like that. Monsters scare children already and they're imagined.... Think of it if the parents didn't have the expression 'monsters aren't real' anymore to tell the kids?" He frowned. "We do this for them." I frowned as I thought it over then. I can see that.

"Then... we don't reveal ourselves, but is it really that wrong and that we're monsters? We live in the same planet as them.... I don't think we're monsters. That would be very depressing if we were monsters. If vampires constantly think they are monsters, think about what that will do to them. That's wrong too. I don't know...." I sighed and looked away from him, my crystal heavy feeling. "I don't know what to think anymore. I've gone through both paths, and I still don't know which is more right.... I know they both have flaws. If the council didn't have flaws, there wouldn't be a resistance...." I gripped his hand tightly then. "I don't want to make a bad decision Lyle. It could cost me everything or it could cost the vampire race everything. I'm just confused I guess."

"There isn't a flaw. We allow vampires to bite others as long as they are polite and ask. Is that so wrong? We provide bottles of blood as alternatives. There are blood donors out there. We don't have to be vicious creatures. It's wrong to slash out at others. Even humans can see that. They have laws similar to ours." I gave his hand a squeeze then nodded before I looked at him.

"I guess...." I pulled him into a hug then and hid my face against his shoulder. "But would we really be vicious monsters if we drank from humans without asking but without killing? Some vampires would never have been created if it wasn't for that... and there aren't many Milos in the world who would hunt their entire life just to meet a vampire. We'd have to reveal ourselves to the human before we could ever turn them... and what about if they reject it then? They would know... and they might join the hunters."

"There are huge groupies out there looking for vampires. They go to fake vampire bars and wear fake fangs. Honestly Silas.... You know this."

"Well I know that too...." I frowned and looked him in the eyes as I held him close. "But is it wrong? Is it really that awful and wrong? Is there anything in the resistance that has anything that could make you think?"

"No... I really don't want to be bit randomly.... and I'm sure humans feel the same." I looked at him then nodded before I leaned in and kissed his cheek with a purr.

"Thanks for thinking about it for me at least," I whispered to him then gave a playful growl. "Now come here," I told him and started to drag him back to his office. "We're going to work on this together... and then I need your help capturing my son from the dragon king."

"What?" He asked lamely. "Why me? I wanted to go taste testing with you." I laughed then and gave him a playful smirk.

"Oh, you do? Okay. I need you at full strength anyways. We have my son to kidnap tomorrow night," I purred to him then started to lead him towards the garage. "We'll need to get Ross and Toma as well tomorrow night and have Aurelio set up to cast an anti-dragon charm on Hesper as soon as we get out of the realm. I don't want to take any chances."

"Why don't you try to arrange something with the dragon? Hesper isn't even of age to live away from home."

"The dragon doesn't care about that. He thinks that he can raise Hesper then mate with him as soon as he's of age," I muttered.

"That's terrible! Hesper needs parents first at a young age."

"Exactly! Besides! I don't want my sweet baby mated to a dragon like that! He's too appealing to dragons so I want to make it to where only dragons like Ross and Toma will be okay with being around him. I want to eliminate any possibility that a wild dragon is going to swoop in and take my baby from me to hoard off in some nest to make him their little love bunny!" I growled and looked at him. "That king is not getting Hesper."

"Let Hesper decide on who he loves but for now... He's your son and you need to make sure he's in your household," Lyle said in agreement. I sighed and then nodded.

"Okay, but we're putting that charm on him to keep that dragon away. Hesper won't ever know if he loves someone else with that king around. The mark needs to wear off him," I muttered. "That dragon only wants sex."

"Obviously... that's why he has so many mates. I hardly can keep up with my boyfriend being jealous when I bite my brother..." Lyle mumbled.

"Well that's because he wanted to be the first one you would bite," I told him. "You're very special to him. But I don't want my little boy or grown boy in some distant future being in a hoard like that! No way am I going to let my boy be a sex object! He needs to be taken away from that king for good."

"You better tell the king your ideals then," he laughed out. "He is a dragon king. We're not waging war on them."

"Putting a charm on my boy is not going to start a war," I told him and shook my head. "We need to kidnap him from the king though... tomorrow night for sure."

"Okay... we will!" He promised.

"So we'll have Aurelio right outside the entrance to the dragon realm so he can do it as quickly as possible, and once it's done, we'll go home. The dragon king will leave Hesper alone once the charm is in place," I whispered.

"That's what you hope... but what if the dragon king still wants him afterwards? Hesper is a rare treat."

"He's not keeping Hesper! I refuse to let him keep Hesper! That's my baby! I'll fight him for him if I have to," I hissed out angrily. "He's lucky that my mate is in France or else we'd go tonight to retrieve my son!"

"Just calm down. We'll get Hesper back but let him decide on his love life when he's older."

"Who would want to be with that dragon anyways?!" I asked him and looked at him. "The only thing that dragon wants is sex and eggs. He won't ever let Hesper come see us either! He's not going to stay with the dragon king even if he's older. I'll forbid it."

"He let him see you guys when the coronation was happening..." Lyle whispered. "That was generous of him."

"But he took him right back. I have rights to my child. He doesn't! I didn't see him around when I gave birth to Hesper! He can't just take my kid!" I growled and felt my fangs sharpening slightly. "He's lucky I won't kill him."

"You should put a shield around Hesper," Lyle suggested. "A vampire shield babysitter."

"Maybe... We'll try that right after we put the charm on him to discourage the dragon king," I whispered to him then led him to my car, getting the passenger door for him. I got in my seat after he was situated and started up my baby before I purred and began to drive us to my blood house. He put the seat back and turned on the radio.

"So how was your night?" He asked curiously.

"It has been pretty good so far except for getting smacked," I purred to him. "I had a nice time with Dmitri. I'm making plans to get my baby back, that's always a good thing. I can't wait to hold him in my arms again where he's safe and keep him near me."

"He's so favored by you," he teased. I laughed.

"I just want all my children to be with me, but I really want Hesper back home. I worry about him," I mumbled to him. "He's my only child that may never come back to me."

"He'll come home," Lyle whispered. "He's your baby boy. He'll end up crying and annoy the dragon king to death."

"But what if one day he doesn't care about me anymore and wants to stay with the dragon king only forever?!" I whined. I don't want my kid abandoning me either for some sex dragon!

"He won't," Lyle promised me. "A child means unconditional love." I bit my bottom lip before I glanced his way then sighed.

"O-okay... I'll let him love who he wants when he is older... even if it's that dragon, but that dragon is going to understand a thing or two if he wins Hesper's heart," I growled that last part under my breath. Lyle laughed as he watched me.

"You're so protective... Daddy."

"Of course I'm protective! That's my baby! If you had a baby, you'd be protective too," I purred to him and gave him a playful look. "You know Aurelio could hook you up."

"No... I don't want children... I'm not even married yet! You need to wait a little longer before you get nephews from me."

"I'll be looking in a century," I purred teasingly to him and smirked.

"By then you'll have one," he promised. "Let's go taste some blood for now." I laughed.

"You will end up meeting Travis too. Mess with him if you'd like," I purred and started to speed up, speeding into town and joked around with him until we reached my blood house. I got out and went around, getting his door and purred to him. "Come on. Let's go see this together. It'll be a surprise for both of us." He smirked and got out of the car, glancing around before going towards the blood house.

"This place?" He asked.

"Yeah, this is my new blood house. I'm going to change it up, no matter what is inside, but I hope it isn't a run down hell hole," I told him as I took him to the door then opened it, going inside. "TRAVIS! I'M BACK!"

Walking inside, I came into a waiting room where there was chairs set up and a cash register at a desk. There was two doors on both sides of the desk. One of the doors was open and I could hear Travis calling for me through it. "In here," his voice chimed through the place. "I've been waiting." The light on the desk was flickering. I frowned. I'm so changing this up. I walked into the back through the door.

"So, I think we'll definitely make this place better," I told him as I walked up to him. "Do we have any blood here at all, or am I finding blood to make this place run?" The room we was standing in now was a nice bar room. Comfortable couches and sitting areas was placed around in a color coordination of red and black or white. There was a few lights hanging low off the ceilings at the coffee tables. There was sighs for a ladies room and a gentleman's room than two other side doors along with an elevator that had 'employees only' written all over it.

"There is... downstairs in the freezers." Travis told me as he was sitting down at the bar. I tsked. Yeah... no, I'm going to fix this place.

"Well this is shitty. I'm going to have to fix this," I muttered under my breath. I'll go see what is downstairs. "I'll have to bring you back later Lyle when there are humans here. I'm going to hire some to give their blood to customers. For now, we can try what's downstairs." I smiled his way then went to the elevator. "Travis! Start shopping online and create a shopping cart! We'll remodel this place." I heard the ladies bathroom door open then and someone step out.

"So how about we make some stra- oh there's someone here?" I heard a girl ask. I heard Lyle sit down then calmly. I frowned and paused in my steps. Do we have humans then?

"Do you work here?" I asked them, looking the girl over. "I'm the new owner."

"Oh cool! Travis was telling me all about you. My name is Mia and I've been working here since I got out of high school." I was facing a beautiful brunette that had her hair short and spiked with a strawberry blonde streak in it. Her skin was a marvelous healthy color but I could see some scars on her from bites. She gave me a cute smile. Maybe she was around... her early twenties. She had on a pair of skinny jeans and a tank top- along with a choker necklace that had spikes on it. She had red five inch heels on to add height to herself. I purred then.

"Excellent! I want you to work on hiring some more people to feed vampires. I'll have you work on the bar with Travis after we have a few more people here," I told her and smiled. Great, I'm not working from scratch. "You can also help Travis pick out some furniture online. We're going to fix this place up."

"Sounds fun~ Do we have a budget?" She asked curiously.

"No," I purred to her. "Go ahead and make a shopping cart with him. I'll approve it once you two are done," I told them then looked towards Lyle. "Wanna help~" I teased him.

"What? No..." Lyle gave me a nasty look. "I know what will go on around here." Travis pulled out his phone and waved Mia over to sit by him. She danced over and sat down, watching the screen. I purred at Lyle then.

"The humans will be paid," I promised him. "It's not like I'm going to enslave them. It'll be like blood donation." I walked towards the elevator then went inside, going down to the bottom level. I walked out into the freezer and glanced around before I selected three bottles of blood and went back up to the main floor. "Got some blood!" I laughed and walked over to the bar, finding a microwave behind it. I began to heat the bottles up before I poured them into glasses and took one to Lyle then one to Travis. I took a sip of mine and purred. It was definitely human blood, just bottled and a little old, but it wasn't bad. Travis downed his quickly and let out an ah. Lyle sipped on his a little before chugging it down. I smirked at Lyle and walked up to him as I finished mine up. "That was so much better than regular bottled blood," I purred to him then wrapped my arms around him. "Now wasn't it?" He leaned in towards my neck and kissed it before scrapping his fangs against my soft skin. I moaned a little and melted in his arms, exposing my neck towards him instinctively. "You can bite me," I whispered to him, pulling him close. "I don't mind brother." He bit down quickly and started to drink my blood. I purred softly to him and pulled him into my lap on the couch to make him more comfortable. "There we go," I whispered to him and ran my fingers through his hair. "Don't take too much." My sweet brother~ He let out a small moan as he feasted upon my blood. I purred softly then took out my phone and took a selfie of us together and laughed, sending it to Rei. Lyle groaned in my ear after hearing the flash. I laughed and kissed his cheek before I rubbed his back then held him close. "I love you brother," I mumbled to him happily.
