Ch22- The King
We were in a garden of some sort, the sun was washing the garden with a golden glow. There was a pond up front and poliwag were playing joyfully in it. Bunneary were bouncing through the garden like frogs with fur. There were also a lot of trees around, Buds begin to flower on the trees, adding a splash of colour. It looked enchanting, unlike any other place.
After a minute walk, we found a red snail-like Pokemon, it was a Slugma. It was a cross of molten lava and a shell-less snail. we spotted two eggs beside it, they were shining and occasionally shaking.
I went a bit closer and I was shocked that I can feel the heat from slugma. Flame body is no joke, but I think Slugma can control the range of heat that can come out because the moment I move closer, he started to retract the heat from the surroundings.
"Thanks a lot for the hard work Slugma, I will treat you to a dinner today."
"Slug Slugmaaaa", he was really happy for what I said.
Cynthia was in her own dream world looking at the shining eggs, we could easily tell the identity of the eggs due to the size difference. I asked the old lady who was also standing beside Cynthia
" Can I put the egg on my lap? is it recommended?"
"No problem, you can do that. They are newborn and won't cause any harm."
After hearing that, I became delighted. I held the egg with my two hands and carefully placed it on my lap. I released all my Pokemon out, they were also excited and surrounded me. Cynthia also did the same, both the eggs were just a metre apart and the shining became intense, they started shaking vigorously.
Nearly two minutes passed and now the shining was so intense that everyone had to cover their eyes, after ten seconds of flashing, everything stopped and I felt something on my lap, it was moving and I slowly opened my eyes with great expectations.
A small, bipedal dragon-like Pokémon that was primarily blue was sitting on my lap. It has a big mouth filled with sharp teeth, no neck, and arms that start at the outer edges of its jaws. A red underbelly stretches from its abdomen to the bottom of its jaw. It also has two horns that resemble jet engines, each with a light blue stripe in the middle. It has a single light blue stripe wrapping around its back. On top of its head is a dorsal fin, which has a notch on it which indicated it was a male.
"Hey there big guy, welcome to the family. Took your own time did you?", I rubbed under his jaw to make him relaxed. Until then, he was making a serious eye contact with me, in just a moment he jumped at me trying to give a hug. Poor guy had the arms of T-Rex but I gently hugged him which made him happy.
" Scyther Scy" "Gible Gib"
[Idiot scyther that's not how you greet a younger brother. Sir, he is taunting Gible to battle and Gible is a retorting with his own taunt.]
"Riolu Rio" Riolu abruptly gives a slap to Scyther saying something and then pats Gible. Gible ignored everything and was searching for something. When he turned towards our right, his eyes shined. He cheerfully went towards Cynthia's Gible, which was in her lap.
He was a bit careful when he arrived near Cynthia but then let go of his comprehensive attitude and patted Cynthia's Gible. I could see that her Gible did not have a notch on the fin, concluding it was a female. Don't tell me this idiot is starting a Harem just after birth?
Cynthia's Gible did not care about the patting from her larger counterpart and they were communicating something. Cynthia turned red and was laughing at that, I asked what the fuss was about. Then, Ralts explained it to me about the conversation.

(Gible's PoV)
I feel a lot of heat around me and I want to meet father. He use to give out a warm and friendly aura unlike what I am feeling now. I also know that there are other pokemon with father, one was serious but as a strict big brother, the other was a prankster but like a naughty big sister and finally, there was a sweet big sister who tries to talk to me like the father. I wanted to reply but couldn't do it. For a while now, I started catching the scent of a similar one beside me. Is she my sister or someone else. I can clearly feel the dragon blood, it was quite strong but not to the level of my blood.
Don't know after how long, I felt father's aura again. It felt like I was in his lap, I can't make him leave so I put a lot of force to break out. Finally, the shell is cracking....hahhhh, the moment I came out I tried to speak but what came out was "Gible Gible"
A man with spiky black hair was in front of me. He had father's aura, maybe, he is the father. I made an eye contact trying to look serious like all the dragons, he then scratched me under the jaw, ah....he touched my sweet spot, so I couldn't stop my happiness. I tried to give a big hug but couldn't, then the serious big brother called out to me asking for a battle. I said to him that, he will get one if that's what he wishes for. Before I tried to finish, I sense that same familiar dragon blood.
I looked around and found a Pokemon, I hurriedly went to greet but then I saw her trainer who was a blond girl. I was hesitant to go now, but I realized that father was behind me, not caring for the consequences, I cheerfully went and patted the other gible asking if she was my sister and her trainer is my mom. The other Gible said she doesn't know and asked me why I was so big.
"Because I am the King" I replied but then she said something like 'then, I am the queen'. I thought she was impersonating me. I ignored that and tried to ask the blond girl, before I do that a Pokemon which looked similar to my pranking sister spoke to me
[Kid, you are not qualified to speak to our trainer, maybe if you are a female then I would have given you a chance. So, get lost.]
'What the hell is wrong with him, does he have a screw loose? I thought he is talking way beyond his authority. My inner instincts were telling me to pummel him but I controlled them for now.'
I spotted my caring sister explaining about the conversation I had with my father. At least my big sister can understand. It will be better to ask her, than this blond girl.

[No brother, she is not our mother. Father is still single.]
"Gible, you might be hungry so let's get something to eat. How about it?"
I asked Gible avoiding the topic. At the mention of food his stomach growled. Ok, another glutton added to the team.
'Sigh'
"Gunn, let's eat together. I think it will be easy to bond, as my Gible seems to be familiar with yours."
"Sure Cynthia, let's go."
We ate to our hearts content and I returned everyone to Pokeball and took Gible with me. After arriving inside the room, I took out a luxury ball
"Hey gible, just one request from me. I will catch you with this Pokeball and release you out the next second. I need to scan you with Pokedex and a full scan is possible only if you are caught. Is that ok?"
"Gib Gible." he clicked the Pokeball carefully
After a few clicks he was caught and I released him out again.
"Stay still while I scan ok?" "Gible"
he gave a nod to me and I started the scan

Ability- SandVeil
Gender- Male
Nature- Jolly and Careful
It nests in horizontal holes warmed by geothermal heat. Foes who get too close can expect to be pounced on and bitten.
It attacks using its huge mouth. While its attacks are powerful, it hurts itself out of clumsiness, too.
Moves- Tackle, Sand attack, Sand Storm.
Egg moves- Iron Head, Outrage(Semi)

Fun fact:
Back in the original Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue games, it was possible to fish for Pokémon inside the many Rhydon statues that Pokemon Gyms are adorned with. Using an Old Rod on any Rhydon statue will cause the player to encounter a Magikarp. You could also fish for Pokémon like Goldeen and Poliwag in the watery areas of the Cerulean City Gym since it takes place in a pool. You won't find any particularly rare Pokémon, but there is a novelty to saying you caught a Pokémon from inside the Gym.
