Ch23- Mock Battle
So even Gible has two natures, I think I should report this to the professor. Not just shiny but King Gene pokemon also have two natures, are there any other exceptions? hmmm....one more research topic for the professor to work on. I will ask him when I reach Vermilion city.
I want my Gible and Scyther to be the main attackers with high speed. Sand Veil will be the best one as he already knows Sand storm, on top of that with a jolly nature he will be unstoppable. Careful nature is a bit good as it improves his special defence. Unfortunately he will have weak special attacks...'shit'. Pokemon like Alakazam, Gardevoir will sweep the floor with him, in fact, any pokemon that can teleport can put a distance and stall him till he gets tired.
I need to come up with something as a counter to that, then there is semi outrage which confuses me, is it something that he hasn't mastered or is he not ready to use it?
We will think about it later, for now, I am really craving for some battles.
"Gible let's do our first pokemon battle, we will ask Cynthia for a mock battle. Are you excited?"
"Gibbbble Gible", he was really eager. I think no matter the nature they have, dragons are proud and battle-hungry.
"Let's go then", I walked out with Gible and slowly knocked on the door opposite to my room.
"Coming, wait a minute..." I heard a hurrying steps towards the door. 'Why is she in a rush?'
Cynthia opened the door and I was amazed by what I saw, the little brother below shot up a forty-five degree. Cynthia had only a small towel that hugged her, which covered her main parts but her wet blonde hair, rosy alluring lips and pale white skin can seduce anyone. She looked smoking hot. Looking at her reaction she thought the old lady was the one that knocked her door
"kyaaaaa....pervert get the hell out" she slammed the door and locked it.
"Who is the pervert? I did not even come inside, I just came to ask something. Who knew you were ready to seduce me like that."
"Who is trying to seduce you? I asked the old lady to get me a conditioner as mine was finished, I did not expect you to come ok."
"Ahhh....ok, let's stop arguing. Finish your thing and come outside, I have something to suggest which might interest you."
"Ok"
That was a really short reply, anyways I am really glad that I knocked the door without calling her. (hehe)

Cynthia came out all dressed up now. It was awkward to speak but Gible was really impatient.
"Te...Tell me what was that you wanted to suggest?"
"You see my Gible and I want to do our first
pokemon battle and I need an opponent, as your Gible just hatched, I think she would be perfect."
"hmm...One on One is quiet boring, how about a 3 vs 3, last battle being Gible vs Gible?"
"Sure"
It's really tough to choose now, whom should I rest for this battle? Ralts will do the battle as it might help her evolve, Gible is a compulsory. Scyther or Riolu??? I want my Riolu to battle her Riolu. Riolu can learn a lot from battling a fellow aura guardian. But, Scyther is training really hard these days. Let's see.....ok that would do, I released Scyther out
"Scyther Scy"
"Cynthia, give us a second", I said that and we moved far away from her.
" Scyther, Cynthia wants a 3vs3 but I want you to sit out for this one, before complaining listen to my explanation. Cynthia has only one gym badge and we have two. So, the experience you might get won't be much. But if you rest for this one, I will let you take on the electric gym. You will have a type disadvantage and will also have a strong opponent. Now....choose"
Scyther was thinking hard on this, I have no problem on whichever he chooses.
If Scyther battles now, then Ralts will be in the gym battle. I was planning on making Scyther train more instead of battles, this is due to the fact that gym four to gym 6 were all weak against scyther. He has dual advantage against grass type gym, then I am planning to evolve him which makes him immune to the poison type gym and sixth gym is a psychic one which will make Scizor my ace.
After the Electric one, all gyms will need Scyther to participate, except Blaine. So it's better to give more chances for Ralts.
"Scyther" he came to a decision, he was resting for this but was eager to watch the battle instead.
"Thanks for your understanding Scyther, but I promise you that, you will battle every gym from now on except the seventh one but if the opportunity presents, maybe we will do that to challenge ourselves. How about it?"
"Scyyyy Scyther"
It's decided then, Ralts vs Roselia, Riolu vs pervert, Gible vs Gible. I walked towards Cynthia, indicating that we are ready for battle. I released both Riolu and Ralts out.
"Girls, we will be battling Cynthia for a 3 vs 3. Although she has only one badge, don't underestimate her. We have to win this clean. Are you guys up for the challenge?"
[Yes sir, it's an opportunity for me.]
"Riolu"
"Cynthia you can choose your pokemon." she gives me a nod that and turns serious
"Roselia, battle dance"
hmm so her catchphrase is the same as in the anime huh.
"You are up Ralts"
"Roselia, poison sting"
"Dodge and use agility", Ralts dodged it easily and used agility.
" Roselia, stay where you are and when she starts to attack use protect."
"Ralts teleport and psybeam."
"Protect and venoshock"
'shit' "Dodge it and use magical leaf"
surprisingly venoshock did not come, she just used protect again and unleashed venoshock after that. Fuck, that was a feint but protect had only 50 percent chance to be cast consecutively. She did a feint and then a gamble just to make sure her attack hit.
Ralts was hit dead centre, that was a really effective move. I realized that Cynthia is really a champion material to come with something like that in a matter of seconds. Her analysis towards the state of battle is perfect.
"Ralts time to get serious, we can't hit her from long distance if she uses protect, so the moment she tries to use protect, teleport behind and hit her with psybeam."
Even though Ralts had more experience, she was having trouble with Roselia. Roselia was like a perfect counterpart, she has high special defence, many defensive moves and advantage of poison against fairy. Ralts also had her psychic advantage but her moves weren't hitting.
Need to come up with something.....
