Dark Elves
(Shinya, the guildmaster.) He was a man with short brown spiky hair and dark blue eyes that wore a white tuxedo with a black long tie.
He picked up the magic communicator off his desk.
It was a small round black object with a blue gem in the middle, this world equivalent of a phone.
Shinya held it to his ear as it vibrated. He sat back in his office chair and leaned back.
"Hello, what is it?"
On the other end of the call was Atsuya.
"I think I found out who was responsible for defeating the Flesh Eaters."
Shinya then leaned forward in surprise.
"Oh? Good work. So who is this mysterious person?"
Atsuya then replied.
"It's a female named Amaya. After Feaca was destroyed by the monster attack, I believe she might have left for Mareve."
"Assuming everything you said is right, then she should be easy to track down. I'll get some men to find and recruit her."

Meanwhile….Amaya and Katsu stood inside the guild staring at the quest wall.
" Which quest should we pick." Amaya asked.
Katsu stared at the variety of papers.
(Quest: Destroy goblin base and run them away.Rank: C Reward: 549Honor)
(Quest: Clear Dungeon. Rank: S Reward: 11,000 Honor)
(Quest: Clear Dungeon. Rank: Gold Reward: 98,000 Honor)
Amaya looked at one of the quests and was surprised.
"Let's clear that dungeon. Look how much they're paying! 98,000 honor."
Katsu shook his head.
"Are you crazy? That's a Gold Rank quest. We would need about six gold-ranks with us in order to beat it, and are dungeons the only quests you do?"
Amaya turned her head and pouted.
"Fine, let's do the boring goblin quest instead."
Katsu pulled one of the papers off the wall.
"How about this one, it's an s-rank quest."
(Quest: A town has been terrorized by dark elves. Find their hideout and get rid of them. How you do it is your choice. Rank: S Reward: 8,679 Honor)
Amaya looked at the paper and thought to herself.
"Dark elves? I guess that kind of sounds cool. I don't wanna be unprepared so I think we should form a party with some other adventurers."
"So, is that one good enough?" Katsu asked.
"Yeah, but I feel like we should get some other members to join."
"Yeah, you're probably right. Let's go tell the guildworker that we're accepting the quest."
They walked over to Hana who was standing behind the counter.
"What can I do for you guys?" She asked.
Amaya replied.
"We wanna expect this quest."
She then placed the quest paper on the counter.
"Are you sure? This quest was originally an a-rank quest but after countless failed attempts, the guild master decided to change it's rank."
"We didn't plan on going alone. Can you help us find some members for the quest."
Hana then walked out from behind the counter.
"Don't worry, I'll find you some good members."
She then shouted so that the entire room could hear while pointing at Amaya and Katsu.
"These two just accepted an s-rank quest. Is anyone willing to accompany them?"
Two people stood up and walked over.
One was a man with long black hair and brown colored eyes. He had a swordstarpped to his back and wore a long dark coat.
The other person was wearing a sword hanging from their side and had armor all over, covering their shoulders, arms, thighs, knees, feet and head. It was unclear if it was a male or female because of their helmet.
The man stepped forward and introduced himself. He spoke in a dark and somewhat sluggish tone.
"Hello,my name Isami. I'm a high ranked adventurer and I'll be helping you out."
(IsamI, Silver-rank)
He then put his hand on the other person's shoulder.
"This here is a good friend of mine, also a high ranker. Also helping out."

"Thanks for deciding to help us out." said Katsu.
"It's no problem. We're adventurers, it's just what we do."
Amay looked at Isami as his stats came into view.

"He has really high stats. Even just with him this quest would be no problem."
She then turned her head and stared at his friend.

Amaya was shocked as she thought to herself.
"Why can't I see their stats? This never happened to me before. I've always been able to see anyones stats on call. Who is this person?"
"Should we head out now?" Isami asked.
"Yeah, let's get going."Katsu replied.
As they all walked out of the guild Amaya looked up at the sky.
There were dark clouds and snow was beginning to fall.
Amaya held out her hand as a snowflake gently landed onto it.
"It's been awhile since I've seen snow. I forgot how nice it is."
Katsu turned around and noticed that Amaya had gotten distracted.
"Amaya, you're falling behind already?"
"Sorry."
Amaya began running to catch up as she thought to herself.
"I hope this quest goes smoothly. I wanna have time to enjoy this snow."

Meanwhile… Shinya, the guild master held the magic communicator up to his ear.
"I need you to search this town for every female named Amaya with white hair."
He then put it on the table and sat down as he let out a sigh.
"Hopefully Amaya is someone that can be ranked higher than silver. Either way I have to recruit her, anyone above s-rank is rare."
Suddenly, a man wearing a business suit came running down the hallway, barging into Shinya's office.
"We've got bad news!"
Shinya quickly stood up out of his chair.
"What is it?!"
"A legendary rank dungeon has appeared."
Shinya wore an unsettled look on his face as he questioned the man.
"Legendary rank? Has this been confirmed?"
"Yes, we had a group of high rankers along with somebody to scan the cave and find out some of the monsters stats.
They didn't go too deep but they found wolves that were torn to pieces.
As they went furhter in, a high level Elite Flesh Eater was spotted.
Several S-ranks were killed and it took four gold-ranks to stop it."
Shinya quickly grabbed the magic communicator of the table and walked towards the door.
"Come with me, we need to gather a team to guard the place and make sure no monsters get out. Start by contacting the Slahser's guild, tell them we may need assistance."
"Y-yes sir."

Amaya , Katsu, Isami and his friend were walking through the forest as they searched for the dark elf hideout.
"The elves must have hidden themselves pretty well," said Isami.
Isami's mysterious friend then put their hand on his shoulder.
Everyone stopped walking.
"What's wrong?" Katsu asked.
Isami then replied.
"We're being followed. By multiple people. Just keep walking and act like we didn't notice anything."
They all continued walking.
Amaya thought to herself.
"I noticed it too. I wasn't sure at first but now I am. My bad luck never gives me a break."
Up ahead, they noticed three men sitting around a campfire.
As they approached them, the men got spooked and all drew their swords and shouted.
"So you came back to kill us, huh?!"
Katsu, Amaya and Isami were all confused.
"Woah, calm down. We're just adventurers." Katsu reassured them.
One of the men let out a sigh of relief and they all put their swords away.
"I'm sorry. We were attacked a couple hours ago and a couple of us were killed."
"Attacked by what?" Isami asked.
One of the men then replied.
"Dark elves."
The man then walked over and stood in front of a tree as he continued talking.
"They were all strong. We didn't stand a chance and we ran. Lucky, we escaped."
A shiver ran down Amaya's spine. She quickly tackled the man out of the way.
"What are you doing?!" Katsu shouted.
They all stopped as they noticed an arrow sticking out of the tree where the man was just standing.
Amaya then stood back up.
"T-Thank you." said the man.
Katsu and Isami both drew their swords as they looked around.
"Where did it come from?" Katsu thought to himself.
Amaya noticed that Isami's friend had their head turned, focused on a specific area of the forest.
Sure enough three figures wearing hoods came out of where she was staring.
Amaya then heard footsteps coming from behind. As she turned around a hand reached out to grab her.
She quickly jumped back and noticed they were surrounded from both sides.
On one side were three hooded figures and on the other was five.
They figures all took off they're hoods and revealed themselves, they were dark elves.
Katsu and Isami ran over to Amaya and faced the hooded people on her side.
Isami's friend began walking towards the other three.
Amaya noticed this and asked "Isami, will your friend be okay?"
He then replied.
"She'll be alright, trust me."
Four of the elves began running towards them as two stood in the back and pulled out a bow and arrow.
['Burst' has been activated]
Amaya moved as a burst of wind followed behind. She now stood by the two elves at the back. Amaya turned and slammed her palm into one of their faces.
['Fast Tracking' has been activated]

As she turned to face the other one, an arrow shot towards her.
She quickly reached her hand out and grabbed the arrow which was inches away from her face.
"That was close…" Amaya thought to herself.
She swung her fist at the elf as it moved to the side and slammed their foot into her chest.

After being hit, she took a couple steps back.
She took a deep breath then let it out.
['Burst' has been activated]
Amaya ran and swung her foot into the elves face.
"That's payback!"
[You have leveled up]
"Even though I didn't kill them, I leveled up?"
As Amaya turned back around she noticed that the rest of the elves had been taken care of.
"Their base must be nearby, let's keep searching." said Katsu.
The man that Amaya saved then stood up off the ground.
"Me and my men will come with you."
Him and the other two men all pulled their swords out.
"Yeah, we need to get those elves back."
Katsu then replied.
"You guys can come, but at your own risk, let's start searching."
Let's split up into groups. You three will go with Amaya and search in one direction. Me, Isami and his friend will search in the other direction."
The men then walked over to Amaya.
"I'm the one incharge of babysitting?" Amaya thought to herself.
As Katsu and his team walked off, he turned to Amaya.
"Take care of them."
Amaya let out a sigh and turned to one of the men in her group.
"When we come across any monsters or elves, just let me do the fighting."
"We can't do that. We all agreed to help for a reason. We have a score to settle with those elves."
"Fine, you can fight, only the weaker ones thought."
Amaya then turned and faced a direction.
"Let's start searching."
They walked and walked and walked. There seemed to be no sign of the elves anywhere. Suddenly, Amaya stopped and sniffed the air.
"It smells like a fire."
She looked up and saw a trail of smoke coming from nearby.
"This way."
She began walking as the men followed.
They stopped and then hid behind some trees and bushes.
"There they are." Amaya thought to herself.
As Amaya looked closer, she noticed that there were around twenty dark elves. There were a couple different looking ones. One was sitting in a chair made of wood. He had long black hair and his eyes were glowing blue. Two elves both stood on each side.
Amaya stared the elf that was sitting.

"That one looks like he might be a little strong."
She then focused on the two that stood on each side.

Amaya then turned around and began talking to her group.
"Okay, You guys just need to distract the other elves. I'll take care of the leader and the two guarding him."
At that moment Amaya had a bad feeling.
"Something feels like it's about to go wrong…" She thought to herself.
One of the men in her ground began holding his throat.
"What's wrong?" Amaya asked.
He then fell backwards.
(Hp: 0/1,134 Al: 0/567)
The other two men were in panic.
Suddenly, one of their heads fell off their body.
Amaya's eyes widened.
"What is this?!"
She then felt a burst of wind move towards her. Amaya quickly ducked and the tree behind her was sliced in half.
"What's attacking?!" Amaya thought to herself.
The last man standing of Amaya's group drew his sword as they were quickly surrounded by all the elves.
Amaya looked at them and knew she was at a disadvantage.
An elf appeared out of thin air and held a dagger to the man's throat.
She was shocked and immediately knew how the other two men were taken out.
"Invisibility?"
Amaya then noticed their leader had left his seat and walked over.
"Humans, after we killed so many of you, why do you wish to come back? Did you want to die as well? I guess you don't really have a choice now."
He then turned and put his hand on two of the other elves shoulders.
"Tie them up, we'll use them as food."
Two of the elves walked over to Amaya and reached out to grab her.
['Speed Boost' has been activated]
Amaya reached her hand out to the side as her katana appeared.
She then moved so fast that they didn't have time to move.
Both elves' heads fell off their bodies. As they fell to the floor the leader turned back around.
"Oh? You're a strong one, aren't you?"
He then looked at the elf that was holding the man from Amaya's group hostage.
"Let him go. Focus on killing this one."
As the elves began walking closer to her.
She glared at them as she thought to herself.
"I still see these elves as humans. But they just killed two of the men that were with me and now they're after me. I don't have time to worry about whether I want to kill or not. It's me….or them."
['Burst' has been activated]
Amaya then shot forward as she swung her sword.
Three of the elves fell over.

An arrow shot into Amay's leg as she kneeled down in pain.
(Amaya: Hp: 21,967/25,500)
The elves began rushing towards her and swinging their swords.
"Dash!"
Amaya quickly jumped out of the crowd while she swung her sword.

"I'm not going down without a fight."
['Fast Tracking' has been activated]
There was still a good number of them left but at this point the rest looked somewhat hesitant to approach her.
Five of them gathered up their courage and ran at her.
She swung her katana at them as they swung their swords at her.
After five seconds of swinging, the five elves fell to the floor.

There were now less than ten of them left.
All at once, they rushed towards her.
"Bad move."

Amaya ran forward and swung her katana.

"Four more."
The eleves then held out their hands as fire began shooting out.
"Crap!"

The fire melted the snow all around as it hit her. She stood still for a couple seconds before falling forward.
The leader wore an evil grin on his face.
"I guess she was no match for us in the end."
The remaining elves turned around and began walking over to their leader.
['Second Chance' has activated]

She then slowly stood up.
"It's not over yet. Burst!!"
She shot forward once more and swung her katana.
[Exp gained] [You have leveled up]
The other two elves quickly jumped back.
Amaya then thought to herself.
"Those two are the Elite elves. They're going to be more difficult to handle. If my skill in fighting brought me this far, then I can probably handle them. But, maybe not."
