"You're going to the dungeon?" Huang asked when they were in the city. Huang is the merchant's name.

"Yeah. I want to see what it has to offer myself." He replied.

"Huh, cultivators are amazing aren't they?" Huang spoke.

He wasn't a cultivator, but rather a normal civilian. Naturally, every living being has a dantian in which the energy is stored. There might be a abnormal case of someone who doesn't have that capability. It's extremely rare to the point that if one searchers through a million worlds they might find one.

But there are also people who choose not to cultivate for different reasons. Some might not do it because it's a bloody path and others because it's a long journey.

"Do you know if there's a weapon shop somewhere around here?"

"Weapon shop...I guess I know about it. Want to go there?" Huang asked.

Luan nodded and the cart moved.

After 10 minutes, they reached a big good looking shop, with the board at the corner written as "Martial Hall". Inside of the hall were different weapons pierced into stones. Some stones had many weapons including spear and hammer while some had only a few and others only one. Indicating their worth.

People took swords out of the stone to examine and if they were to their liking, they could buy them.

The team with Huang went to the person who looked in charge of the place. A old man with small white beard.

"Excuse me, what's the price around here?" Luan asked.

"Ho ho. You're in the right place young master." He greeted them, "The first 3 stones contain Lower rank weapons. All of them have price between 20 to 500 gold. 4th to 6th stones contains medium ranked weapons, Going from 1k to 10k. And the last has a single higher ranked sword price being 75k. Which one would you like?" There was a vicious smile behind kind smile.

'Hehe these people must have quite some money on them. If I could sell some expensive items to them it would be a jackpot!' Old man thought, 'Though all of the items here are fine quality, so I'm not really scamming them.'

"Isn't it too expensive?" Luan asked.

"No No, the swords and other weapons are high quality! You won't regret buying for a single second."

'You can say that because you own the place..."

"Still at least reduce the price a little."

"Unfortunately young master I can't." The old man said, a little uncomfortable.

Flashback

Chatter! Chatter!

Luan and his mother were in a market bustling full of chaos. Some people are shouting to get other's attention and some kids are crying. Luan was probably one of the only few who looked like he was excited if only by a little. Melia caught everyone's attention even without saying anything. People were astonished by Melia's beauty.

Planet: Earth

Continent: Asia

Country: ???

Sparkle Sparkle

"Woah so many people!" He said.

"Yep. It's not everyday we get to descend down on the land like this. Might as well interact with people!" Melia exclaimed. They went to a fruit seller and asked for a apples.

"Isn't that too expensive?" She asked.

"Nope ma'am. It's the market price..." He said.

"...It can't be helped then. I acquired this technique 9 years ago!"

"I'm leaving. I'll buy somewhere else with lower price." They turned their back to the seller.

"W-Wait!" He said, "I'll... I'll reduce the price."

After a few minutes of business chatting.

Apples brought at 15% discount, including some vegetables!

"Wow what was that skill?" Luan asked.

"It's the skill every house wife has." She replied.

The apples weren't brought because of her looks but skills. System confirmed.

Present

"It can't be helped then..." Luan turned his back to the old man and tried leaving.

'This would surely work.' He gave a faint smile and expected to be stopped.

He wasn't.

After going for about 7 meter going away from the old man, luan was red. Angela followed him.

'Shit. This is so embarrassing.'

"Wait!" Huang shouted and luan looked behind.

'You really are a weird kid, Luan." Huang thought.

Huang's pov

When I first saw you, I thought you'd be a normal kid. But I was utterly wrong.

At times, you are an amazing guy to be around. Other times, you're a mental psychopath who's killed beasts on the way here, without showing any mercy. Which is far from normal for kids your age.

The weird thing is that after some time, you get depressed at yourself as if you're self conscious again. You hesitate to kill them, but also doesn't. It's as if you don't know what to do. Your emotions are conflicted, but you don't show it often. Not even yourself.

'You don't know what to feel, isn't that right?'

Normal pov

Huang after thinking that went to the old man who was waiting for something to happen. They discussed something for a few seconds.

The old man said, "I can give the medium rank weapons for a cheaper price.'

Luan was confused for a second, " Ah, ok." He said.

He went to the 5th stone, "Go, get a sword which you like."

With a "yes" Angela started looking through the swords.

She took out a sword which had good designing and looked steady.

"This." She said.

Luan took out his scythe and said, "Let's check if it's good."

His scythe didn't even had scratch after all the fighting and despite drenched in blood several time. It was as if the scythe was just newly made.

"...That weapon." The old man murmured.

Slash!

Angela and luan exchanged a blow and wind striked across them.

"So, how is it?"

"Good." She replied.

"Ca-Can you show me that Scythe?" The old man asked.

"Ha? This scythe?"

"Y-Yeah.Please show it to me." The old man was getting relentless.

"Why should I?"

"Huh?"

"What if you take it and claim it's yours?" Luan said. Although the old man was in just Qi gathering 4 luan was sure he could beat him easily if need be. He just don't want his scythe to get into someone else's hand.

"I'll reduce the price even more." Old man said. He looked anxious.

'But I wasn't talking about the price... 'Luan thought for a second and said, "...Alright."

The old man took the scythe from him.

!

'This scythe is extremely heavy.' He thought, 'Maybe... 7 to 9 kg?'

He started examining it. The sharpness and material used.

'The sharpness is unlike I've ever seen! Even just a touch at any point can easily cut through a rock....Not only that but the material used here, I've never seen it. The grade of this easily exceed medium...'

The colour of the scythe was pure black. It reflected 96% of the light. Moreover, there were light blue strokes on it no more than a few Millimeters almost everywhere. They were constantly moving in random direction slowly like an illusion or hypnotism one would see on earth. As if the weapon itself was alive.

"Where did you find it?" He asked gulping.

"It was given to me by my late parents." He answered and the old man gave the weapon to him.

"What you have here is an amazing weapon, don't let it her into other's hand." He asked, "by the way are you a martial arts cultivator?"

"Martial arts? Why do you think so?"

"Well isn't it obvious? Someone in Qi gathering 4 can't possibly use something that heavy in an actual battle."

For reference the average weight of sword or scythe rarely exceed 3.5 kg in this world or everywhere.

"Putting that aside, how much will this sword cost us now?" Luan asked.

"You can give me 2000 gold for that sword." Old man said.

"2000? What was the price before?"

"4000 gold was it's initial price, but I'm only taking half of the money."

Luan didn't argue with him any longer and gave him the money.

"Come again with that weapon!" The old man said smiling viciously.

Luan looked at him and smiled uncomfortably, "In the end he was a good person. I guess I shouldn't judge others by their looks and how they act."

"Anyway, I only have 600 gold now..." Luan sighed and looked at the sword in Angela's hand.

"But it was necessary to buy that as well."

"Oh yeah. Huang, are you going to the dungeon now?"

"Yeah, it's still morning so I guess I'll go there now to trade." He replied.

"Ah come to think of it, because of this large cloud that rumbles every once in a while we can't really tell if it's day of night." Luan spoke.

With that the tree of them started going out of the city. The population of the city was large, but the traditional Chinese houses weren't particularly close to one another. There was ample of space for people to move around without any worry.

It took them a while to get there as the city was massive. The clouds didn't block as much sunlight as before and hint of rays from the sky could be seen.

There they saw people gathering around with their variety of weapons. Some were sitting at a higher landform on the grass possibly reaching 20 meters in height and some were standing.

They saw someone familiar next to the landform.

The same mas with long golden hair that covered her left eye.

"So class. Um don't take needlless fights and stay close to me, alright?" Isla said.

"Sure~" Everyone of the class replied.

'Hopefully nothing bad happen.' Teacher Isla thought, 'Hmm, What about Xinyi's disciples?' She looked over to the side a few meters away.

"Go one foot away from me and your dead!" The women who looked as if she was in her mid 20s and same age as Isla said.

She was wearing glasses and her slight blonde slight blueish hair were tied in the back. The front two sides of her hair weren't tied and they were freely blowing in the air. They were reaching her neck. She had a slender body just like Isla.

She was wearing a Qipao. It is a type of body-hugging dress, It is a high-necked, closefitting dress with the skirt slit partway up the side. It was red in color.

Mainly opposite to what teacher Isla wears. She had a robe of grey color with red belt at the waist.

"As your master it's my responsibility to take care of you in that place! You can stay here if you won't listen to me. Alright?!" Xinyi asked.

"...Alright."

"Sure."

"Got it."

The students replied not so enthusiastically.
