|3rd Person's POV|
Three days after Michelle confronted Gwen and Petra, the two were called over New Avengers Facility, for the first time, causing their overwhelming guilt to temporarily disappear and be replaced with excitement. They needed something to distract them from their conscience. For the past days it has been eating them up, even when they themselves looked for the missing Smile as Ghost-Spider and Spider-Woman, yet to no avail.
This just eased their conscience, even though though not by much, but it helps. And maybe, they could even ask for Tony Stark for some help. They were sure that he would help the two, as it was an easy thing for him to do, they hoped.
And, now, the two spider women were on they way with the help of Happy Hogan!
Happy: "You two better not cause any trouble for Tony, got it? If he gets problems, I get problems. If he gets angry, I get angry. If he loses his job because of you two, I lose my job because of you-" he rambled on as he drove before getting abruptly cut off by a semi-shy Petra and a slightly annoyed Gwen.
Gwen|Petra: ""Us. We get it."" the two had a way of synchronizing, maybe either because of being both bitten by the same spider, or it was because they were best friends.
Happy: "Hmph. Teenagers." the man huffed while keeping his eyes on the road, now nearing the new Avengers facility.
However, before they reached the facility, Gwen spoke up, starting to get nervous like Petra, but for a different reason.
Gwen: "Hey Happy..." she said in a quiet-ish tone, but it was enough for Happy to hear.
Happy: "What is it blondey?" he asked with a mildly irritated tone.
Gwen: "Well...do you...think that Mr. Stark can help us find someone?" she replied with a question, sounding nervous, something the blonde normally wouldn't sound like.
Happy: "Depends. You looking for your boyfriend that left you after he stole your money?" he mused in sarcasm, not really caring. However, Gwen scrunched her eyebrows together in mild disgust.
Gwen: "Yuck. I'm lesbian, Hap. I got tired of boys years ago. I'm looking for my girlfriend." she snapped, the thought of her in a relationship with another boy disgusting her after all her previous unhealthy relationships in her young, teenage life that a normal teenager shouldn't even have, but she was curious and adventurous, except, not just the point of being too bad for her health.
And Happy, just knowing this, was only momentarily surprised, but being the great man he is, immediately got his composure back.
Happy: "Then, you looking for your girlfriend after she left you after sho stole your heart?" he asked with clear sarcasm once more, wanting to annoy the hell out of the kid for giving him more work.
Gwen, however, didn't take that well and just shut her mouth, prompting the brunette beside her to glare at Happy. The man in question, noticed the silence and looked at the side mirror to see the current emotion of Gwen. Happy, not really intending to hurt the girl, quickly said,
Happy: "But, since it's Tony, I'm sure the big man would help you out." was all he told the blonde, not wanting to say anything else. But, luckily for him, Gwen was relieved, knowing that she has a better chance of finding her "girlfriend" now. However, for the past three days, the thought of Michelle and Freyja being sisters kept on disturbing her trqin of thought.
She felt hurt, since Freyja never told her about this, or she was just misunderstanding something again. But she knew, she didn't fully open up to her even with how long they got together. And she thought that she herself didn't deserve Freja's full trust in het, as she cheated on the girl because of speculations and rumors. Gwen could have done the smart choice of confronting her, but instead, she did one of the stupidest thing a person in a relationship would do, and that was to doubt their partner, when they knew that their partner wouldn't do anything bad.
And as she thought about this, the initial guilt she had that faded away due to the excitement of the mission came back, making her play with the necklace on her neck.
¦Timeskip¦
When the two spider people finally arrived in the Avengers facility, Happy escorted the two to the building's meeting room. And on the way, they met Rhodey, the War Machine, chatting with a staff member while standing! The half-paralyzed man was luckily able to walk thanks to the leg supports that Tony made.
The two, mostly Petra, fangirled, making the man proud, which he needed because of his paralyzed lower half. It wasn't easy being a hero turning into a half-cripple.
Then, with Happy's urging, the two reluctantly left the man to his business as they needed to focus on their own business. Within a few minutes, they finally were able to meet Tony Stark, right after a conversation with a hologram of a woman. Since she had her back towards them, they only noticed her figure and her blonde hair done in a bob cut.
Tony: "Ah! Just the two I needed! Come, come!" he invited the two as he acted like his usual arrogant self, which the two didn't mind, especially Petra, who idolized the genius.
Gwen, without minding the man's attitude much, sat on the couch next to them. Petra, however, was more excited with seeing her idol once again.
Petra: "Mr. Stark! Thank you thankyou thankyouthankyouthankyou for calling us for this mission! What are we gonna do anyways! Fight aliens? Did bad guys still something ssuuppeerr important? Are we gonna go to London? Will we be working as a team?! Can we ride the Quin-" the brunette rambled, causing Gwen to chuckle at her best friend's actions, but Tony was more annoyed that amused.
Tony: "Spiderling one, please stop." he ordered, shutting up the excited girl, but she wanted to continue, however, a hand pulling her down stopped her.
Tony: "*Rubs temples* Thanks blondey. Now. Since the other spiderling is now silent, I will now proceed as to why you two are here." the man in Iron Man said while fiddling with his watch, which made a hologram to appear above it.
With Gwen here, Petra, who would usually ask questions, was silent and the two were able to listen without any distractions.
Tony: "You already know that I called you two for a mission, right?" he asked the two, and they both nodded in response.
Tony: "Good. This will be your first mission, as an Avenger, so be happy, alright." he announced, causing the brunette girl to escape Gwen's hold to cheer.
Petra: "Woohoo! Finally!" she shouted in excitement, but, once again, Gwen was their to stop the brunette from going back into her rambling tendencies.
Tony: "Thanks again. Now, without further interruptions, I will debrief of your mission. Don't worry, though. This wouldn't be something new to you two. You've fought it multiple times before, the government not paying much mind to it, thinking it wouldn't be much of a threat with you two fighting it. You two remember Carnage?" he asked after a bit of explanation, but hearing a familiar name, someone's name that they both hated and feared, caused them the both become serious.
Gwen|Petra: "Yeah.|Yes." they both said in the same time, and inside the mind of Petra, something growled, making said girl to wince a bit.
Pressing holographic buttons on the hologram, them swiping it to the left and making it turn into a screen, images and videos of Carnage and its previous host was shown.
Tony: "You two have fought against the Symbiote many times, and because of that, you two are the most experienced in dealing with it. After its initial defeat, the Symbiote left its host, before disappearing. At that time, its whereabouts were unknown, and so was its status. The security cameras were destroyed during your fight, so there was little to no surveillance to help figure what happened to the Symbiote. Videos from the civilians didn't help, as it mostly on you two. But..." he trailed off and began do swipe around the hologram before finding something and enlarging it.
Tony: "Over the course of one week, sightings of a creature resembling Carnage in a female form was heard. After some thorough investigation, we finally found something really useful." with the hologram enlarged, Tony played the video and showed it the the two spider women.
¦In the video¦
???: "_RRRAAAAARRR!!!_"
Something demonic roared loudly, startling the three people watching. The surrounding was right outside something that they could somehow guess was a facility from the edges of the video. And after the roar, came gunshots from men wearing armored gear right at the top part of the video.
There were around ten people, all armed to the teeth with heavy weaponry, and they didn't stop shooting. From the bottom of the video, two people wearing lab coats were crawling desperately, avoiding the bullets and were shouting.
?Scientist1: "Throw a fucking grenade at it!!!" the scientist? on the left commanded, and two of the soldiets? complied as they hurriedly went to take a grenade from their vest, quickly pulling the pin and throwing it to what they could tell to be the entrance.
But, as soon as the grenades entered, it was immediately shot back at the soldiers?, who were quick enough to slap them away, and after a second they exploded. Luckily for them, they sent the grenades flying forward, but it only landed on the ground not too far away from them, causing them to be blown back, however, they didn't die.
Except, this did give the opportunity for the thing they were shooting at to run out the facility. From the entrance came what they knew as Carnage, the color and blood like tendrils giving away its identity, even when it was in a female form. And, as they expected from Carnage, it formed a weapon, a large blade to be precise, which was connected to a long tendril.
Carnage heartily swung its blade, and it accurately punctured one of the soldiers?, even when they wore bullet proof vests. And Carnage did so with a manic laugh. It was about to do more, but the video was paused there.

Tony: "As you two can see, Carnage is alive and well, with a new host. Obviously a female. Carnage didn't change, still psychotic and brutal, but there was something different about it." the genius said while the two girls shuddered all throughout the video, memories of their fight against the Symbiote appearing in their mind. However, they still continued to listen to Tony.
Tony: "A weird thing that I found out, which the government were too naive to notice, was that Carnage wasn't indiscriminately killing as it used to do." he stated, catching the curiosity of the two girls.
Tony: "I found out that all that Carnage has been killing were HYDRA operatives and their bases." he said, shocking the two girls once more. Because, why would Carnage do something like that?
Petra: "A-are you sure!?" she exclaimed, confused and scared as to why their enemy would be doing something like that.
Looking at his hologram, Tony swiped and pressed on a file and it showed pictures with info of different people, most had "X" over their pictures.
Tony: "Yes. This is the file that Natasha released to the world after what happened to S.H.I.E.L.D, and I was able to decode it. With facial recognition, I found out that for the past week, Carnage has been killing most of the people with X marks here." the man informed the two, making them even more confused, as they were probably the only people who knew the Symbiote, even possibly more than its own previous host.
Then, finally having the chance, Gwen joined in.
Gwen: "But why would he- she- ugh! It! do that?!" she asked, confused with its gender now. However, seeing Tony's troubled expression, it told her that even he didn't know that.
But, a voice suddenly joined in.
???: "_Let me help you._" said a demonic voice, resembling the roar from the video from earlier.
Looking at the source, they found that it came from Petra's shoulder, and they just remembered the Symbiote that Petra had. Taking the opportunity by its tail, Tony asked.
Tony: "Please do, Venom."
Then, the Symbiote in question started to morph into a replica of Petra, only with obsidian colored skin, hair, and pupils. It was unnerving, but since Venom wasn't hostile, and was rather composed, something different from its rowdy self, and more solemn now, the three didn't do anything drastic.
Venom: "_Before that, Gwen deary, we Symbiotes may be born without a sex, but we do have preferences in gender, and my daughter and I prefer to be females, she was just unlucky to have merged with a man. And, to clarify, Symbiotes can be influenced by their hosts personality. So, if a Symbiote is originally rowdy, but had a calm headed host, then it would mellow down, even for a bit. That is why Carnage is Carnage. Originally, she was manic, but having been paired with a psychopath, she has reached a higher level in insanity." she explained to the three, but this still confused them, but Tony, being the adaptable person he is, was able to think of something.
Tony: "So...because of Cletus being a psychopath, and Carnage being the same, it amplified it-, her personality and became Carnage? Is that why it was so...insane?" he asked, getting a gist from Venom's explanation.
Venom: "Yes. And I know that it doesn't help with her case, we Symbiotes usually don't care about the lives and morals of our food." she said with no remorse, causing Gwen and Petra to glare at her.
Gwen: "But that doesn't explain why Carnage is doing this!!" she exclaimed, getting rather irritated with Venom.
Venom: "It does, actually. As the personality of the host affect the Symbiote and their actions. And since they are going after HYDRA operatives, then-" she explained, hoping that the three would understand, but she didn't need to say anymore as Tony had gotten to an answer.
Tony: "If it's like that...then the host must have something against HYDRA?" he questioned the Symbin front of him, which nodded.
Tony: "Then...Jarvis. Search for any living, even if considered dead, victims of HYDRA. And search their for their friends and family. The host is obviously female, *observes the paused video* from the height...should be a teenager or older. And since they somehow know locations of HYDRA bases and facilities, must have a background in S.H.I.E.L.D, computers, or the government. Also, search for women that has disappeared around one week before this. Hopefully, that narrows it down. Also, give me locations of HYDRA operatives, bases, and facilities that have yet to have been hit by Carnage." he said out loud and a voice with a British accent replied.
JARVIS: "Yes, sir." the rather very intelligent system said.
With his A.I. on the job, Tony nodded and faced the two spider women he called.
Tony: "Now. While Jarvis' looking for our girl, we'll have you two stationed at..." he trailed of, waiting for something. But, in mere seconds, Jarvis spoke.
Jarvis: "I have found a pattern, sir. It seems the suspect is going in a circle where it slowly expands. Since the last hit was on Minnesota, Koochiching, the closest HYDRA facility that the pair would hit will be North Dakota, Devils Lake, according to the pattern." the A.I. informed Tony, who nodded with a bag of chips that mysteriously appeared in his grasp.
Tony: "Can you estimate the time of arrival?" he questioned his A.I., hoping that they would find a specific time to go and catch the Symbiote.
Jarvis: "No, sir. The speed of the pair is unknown. It seems that the host knows what she's doing, as even we can't find the Symbiote's current location through satellites." replied the A.I. in its British accent, making its creator sigh.
Tony: "Then it looks like you two should go there now. Jarvis, prepare the Quinjet. And you two, *stares at the spider pair*, be safe. Now shoo. Shoo! Hurry to the hangar." he ordered, and just like that, the two spider women left, startled and somewhat confused.
And as the two left in the hurry, Happy came in through a different door with a expression showing disbelief and wariness, which Tony immediately noticed.
Tony: "What's up?" he asked casually, throwing a chip to his mouth. And, to his question, Happy nervously looked at Tony.
Happy: "B-Boss. Someone's looking for you." he told the billionaire, only to receive a raised eyebrow.
Tony: "Who is it?" the genius asked, slightly perturbed as to how his chauffer was so shaken up.
Happy: "*Gulps* I-It's Michelle Jones. She says she's F-Fury's daughter." he informed his boss, making said boss drop his chips and his jaw too.
