The Uprising

HBI just got back from their victory against Kaijo But Goda was put off by Kuroko's selfish play. "What was your problem!?" Goda yelled.

"What do you mean? We still won, "Kuroko replied.

"Why didn't you pass!"

"There was no need to, "

"If you don't pass then you can kiss this team goodbye!" Goda said

"Well try it, "

Goda was furious"GET THE HELL OUT OF HOKUSHOU!!!!" He beamed

Kuroko walked out, his head faced downwards. He didn't think that Goda would actually kick him out. He walked home sobbing. He was abandoned again. Left to fend for himself again. Thrown out on the street again. He was powerless again. And most of all, it was his fault again. He thought becoming powerful was the key; that he could do anything with power, but after gaining it, he was lonely. He was in the same position. Like a stray dog. Just walking aimlessly. But he wasn't alone. His shadow was behind him. Kiyoshi was behind him.

"What are you doing here?" Kuroko sobbed.

"Just following my light," Kiyoshi answered.

"I want to be alone right now." Kuroko hissed.

"I didn't know that a shadow counted as a person, " Kiyoshi said with a smile on his face.

Kuroko smiled back."Do you think I can get back on the team?" Kuroko asked.

"Yeah. Knowing Goda, he's probably already forgotten." Kiyoshi answered.

They both chuckled.

"Now, let's go back to our team," Kiyoshi said.

They went back to HBI and Kuroko apologised.

Goda accepted and taught Kuroko how to properly play as a team. Kuroko befriended all the players and it was finally time for the InterHigh. Kuroko grinned, as he thought of beating Kagami and the rest of Seirin.
