HBI Against Shutoku

Shutoko was utterly defeating HBI. The score was 54-8. Shutoku was in the lead and trying to expand the gap between their scores. HBI was devastated. They had lost all their fighting spirit and were just waiting for the match to end.

Despite their predicament, Kiyoshi still wanted to win. He looked at the HBI and shouted "Is this how you play without Kuroko? Are you admitting that Kuroko is carrying the whole team and that we're useless? Do you want Kuroko to see us losing and feel obliged to come and play every game? I don't know about you, but I'm gonna beat Shutoku. With or without you." The team was inspired. Kiyoshi ran up with a vanishing drive and scored a layup. The crowd went wild.

Even the Shutoku supporters started cheering for HBI. HBI had the masses on their side. They were prepared to make a huge comeback. Kiyoshi was sneaking past the center and shooting threes.

Kiyoshi lost his misdirection because he was drawing too much attention to himself. Kuroko forgot to tell him this. HBI started to lose momentum again. The score became 84-57 by the end of the third quarter.

In the middle of the fourth quarter, the players heard the double doors burst open. With pale blue hair, he was tall and muscular. Kuroko stumbled in holding a walking stick. He fell down. Before the guards took him down, Kuroko mouthed to Kiyoshi "I'm counting on you,".

Kiyoshi grabbed the ball and zoomed to the net. He scored. HBI scored as much as they could but it wasn't enough. Shutoku beat them 117-89. HBI was angry. They wanted to win a match without Kuroko. They couldn't face him. They went to Germany without Kuroko to train before then InterHigh started.
