The Fated Encounter; Seirin VS Kirisaki Daiki High

Kuroko walked into the InterHigh stadium with two other HBI players. The shadow, Kiyoshi, and the power forward Sora. The match they went to see was Seirin, Kuroko's former team, versus Kirisaki Daichi High, one of Tokyo's best eight. Seirin had beaten them before when Kuroko was still there but now, they weren't so sure who would win. Kuroko wanted to see how Kagami had grown. As he walked in, the Seirin bus was just coming to the stadium. They were late. Kuroko chuckled at how nonchalant they were. He was still secretly hostile toward Seirin. Kagami the most. He wanted to see how much Kagami had grown without him. He wanted to see whether Seirin could still be as good. As they walked into the building, Kagami and Kuroko's eyes met. Kagami walked towards Kuroko with a smile on his face.

"Kuroko-chan! How are you doing?" He asked,

"None of your business," Kuroko scowled with disdain,

"Don't be like that Kuroko-chan," He said, patting him on the back.

*woof* *woof*

Tetsu #2, Seirin's mascot rushed toward his original owner. He had clearly missed his company. Kuroko chuckled as he licked him on the face, getting dog spit all over him. Kuroko and him played for a while until Kagami interrupted.

"You know you can come back any time you want," He said seriously.

"I don't want to go back to your crappy team," He scorned.

"Yet you're watching our games," Kagami replied,

"To find out whether or not you're worthless or not without me." He scoffed.

"Right now. One on one." Kagami insisted.

"You know my strength is in numbers. Two on two." He negotiated.

"Riko, handle this." Kagami said, "Elliot, come with me."

"Kiyoshi." Kuroko said.

On a random court

Sora handled the tip-off. Kagami got possession. Not after long, Kiyoshi used his new training and stole the ball. He did a swift pass to Kuroko and they scored. "Hmph. So you've found yourself a shadow." Kagami said. Despite that, Kuroko continued to play The match was a flurry on passes, interceptions, and shots. After a minute, the score was 5-4. Kagami was winning. He still hadn't used Elliot, the new first year. He had grown tremendously. But so had Kuroko and his shadow. "40% then," Kuroko muttered. He started playing way better and dribbling past him. Kagami was surprised. Though he knew that Kuroko had grown, he didn't expect him to be that good at 40 percent. Kagami chuckled. "Elliot, step forward," he said. Elliot was one of the most promising first years while Kuroko was still at Seirin. He was intrigued to see his playing style. They started to play.

Before Kagami and Kuroko began their match, I mentioned that Seirin was playing against Kirisaki Daichi High, a team that uses dirty tactics. They started the match. Seirin went into this all out so that they could win quickly. They wanted to finish this as soon as possible. Riko was worried because they had grown. She wasn't sure whether Seirin could still beat them. But she was sure that they could. She had faith in them and now that they had many promising first years, she was relieved that she could put her trust in them. Seirin was winning by a huge margin. 30-6. Kirisaki Daichi was hoping to wear them out then use their tactics when Seirin got tired, but their bench was full of excellent players so that idea won't work. Kiyoshi Teppei, the center got a rebound when Makato Hanamiya, a Kirisaki Daichi player, got and idea. As he was coming down, he stepped on Teppei's shoelace and tripped him. But the referee saw. They hired a special referee for that team specifically because they had gotten complaints.

Elliot was nothing special, or so they thought. He was dribbling completely ordinarily and he was still getting past the two of them. Elliot had a rare playing style. He played like a normal person but he made the slightest changes so they weren't noticed but they had an effect. In the past, Elliot had been the only first-year to get past the whole Seirin team single-handed.
