Chapter 3

Several days after the Kyuubi attack, Nekotsume Clan Central Compound Conference Room

Hiashi Hyuga, along with his wife Nikko Hyuga, were meeting with the Matriarch of the Nekotsume Clan, in order to establish an alliance between their Clans. "So," Hiashi began once they were settled, "what does the Matriarch of the Nekotsume Clan want with us?"

"It's simple Hiashi, I seek to propose an alliance. Several elder are surely preparing to pressure the Hokage into forcing us to hand over Matatabi, and while we can just fight, we do not seek to lose some of our own. Especially not for some power hungry weaklings, who can't do anything themselves. I assume some of them would even try to place the blame of the Kyuubi attack on us, seeing as we're the only ones capable of controlling a tailed beast in their eyes.

Hmmph! Matatabi is a friend of our clan not some beast we control. None of the nine are just some mindless demons to control. The only reason we place her in a jinchuriki is to avoid fools trying to capture her for themselves. In order to completely prevent a civil war, we would need the support of several other powerful ninja clans. We do have something to offer, of course. Your child will get an opportunity to learn senjutsu, and even if they don't succeed, they will be allowed to form a summon contract with our clan summons."

"That does benefit my son or daughter plenty, however, I'm not so sure the Clan Elders would approve if something that only helps one person within the Clan..." he said, trying to gain more benefits before he ultimately agreed.

"Tell your elders that your child and Hizashi's Neji will also get to be childhood friends with my nephew, since he'll probably future Clan Head. As you know, our clan doesn't operate on first born being the heir. Why is that so great? Well my nephew seems to be some kind of pure red tiger. No other colors, just red. This is something that has yet to be seen, and his twin sister is a white lion." Yoruichi said.

Hiashi thought about forcing it, but his wife nodded with a smile, sealing the deal in his stead. After they left, the Uchiha Clan Head, Fugaku Uchiha arrived with his wife, Mikoto Uchiha, and his sons Sasuke and Itachi Uchiha. Before Yoruichi had the chance to talk, Fugaku spoke, "We will annex your Clan if you wish to form good ties with us."

"Just because people call you 'Wicked Eye' now doesn't mean I'm going to be scared of you, someone much weaker than me. Nor would your clan, a clan weaker than my own with too high a pride to improve, ever annex my own. Have you forgotten why I earned the title of 'Flash Goddess?' Have you forgotten that I'm as strong as Minato just because I've been lazy? Well, since you've made your stance clear, get out, Fugaku." Yoruichi replied with a smile. Fugaku angrily got up and left, leaving behind his wife and sons.

"I seriously don't know how you can deal with that bastard, Mikoto." Yoruichi said.

"I have to. Having been a talented Uchiha kunoichi, I'm basically forced to be breeding stock for him since he's the Clan Head. I don't think I can help you, unfortunately. The Clan Elders of the Uchiha are just as bad if not worse than Fugaku. You're lucky, you don't have to deal with annoying elders." Mikoto replied, not at all shy about talking bad about her husband in front of her sons.

"I would say mine are more annoying. All the do is sleep. 'Now that we've retired we don't need to hunt anymore prey, so we can have all the sleep and milk we want' they say. They could at least help to manage the clan a little!" Yoruichi joked.

"Hahaha, manage what? You're all a united clan. Nobody fights for dominance, you simply work together. We should get going, I'll come visit the children some other time. Fugaku will be even more angry the later we are home, good luck, Yoru-chan. Oh and you're stronger than Minato, you lazy cat." Mikoto said as she began to leave, carrying Sasuke while holding the young Itachis hand.

"Nyahaha, you're free to bring Sasuke to play with Ka-chan and Ai-chan! Itachi too!" Yoruichi called behind her friend.

After the Uchiha, Yoruichi ate a short lunch, and then the Nara Clan Head, Inoichi Yamanaka, the Nara Clan Head, Shikaku Nara, and the Akimichi Clan Head, Choza Akimichi arrived.

"Well, well, well, it's the Yama-Aki-Nara combo!" Yoruichi greeted.

"Your jokes are such a drag, Yoruichi. You already know we'll be your allies, so what did you call us for?" Shikaku asked.

"Remember how Inoichi brought everyone here last month to brag about his newborn daughter? Ta-da! My cute nephew and niece!" Yoruichi announced, Karma and Ailane appearing in her arms in the middle of her announcement. Of course, she used her movement technique, Shunpo, to go get them, she was just fast enough that she could move all around the Central Compound almost instantly.

Her actions woke up the sleeping Ailane, who began to cry, and Karma, who held onto Ailane hand to calm her down once again before glaring at Yoruichi. Sometimes he thought he shouldn't have started as a baby, but he thought it was an okay experience, he got to drink milk and sleep. He was excited for the future though, since he was actually limiting his body so that he wasn't all-powerful. He did have his actual abilities, but his new body couldn't use them, he would have to momentarily leave it for them. He was happy he would have challenges and thrills in his new life, as well as fun prey to hunt.

"What a drag..." Shikaku said, while Inoichi began to argue in the name of his daughters cute-ness. Choza simply laughed and enjoyed the atmosphere. The Nekotsume Clan got along great with their three clans because their lazyness was very similar to the Naras, and they had done several mission with the younger Yoruichi and her sister in the past. He only thought it was upsetting that the Nekotsume Clan members didn't really grow old unless they wanted to.

After hanging out for awhile, the Ino-Shika-Cho trio left, and soon the last Clan Head Yoruichi had invited arrived; Tsume Inuzuka, Clan Head of the Inuzuka Clan. They were the Nekotsume Clans number one allies, though most would think cats and dogs don't get along. This was only true because of the conflicting nature of the animals. Dogs naturally feel inclined to chase small creatures, while cats hate being chased. Dogs are also very 'in your face,' something cats don't like.

In a world where the two are intelligent species to begin with, they get along, understanding each others' differences and similarities. The Inuzuka and Nekotsume Clans much the same. Tsume was, like the Ino-Shika-Cho trio, invited to meet Karma and Alaine.

A/N: idk Hinata's moms real name but Hinata means Sunny day, Hanabi means Fireworks and Himawari means sunflower so I went with a name meaning Sunshine)
