After a month of traveling leisurely, taking time to train and sightsee, Karma and Tayuya arrived in the Hidden Mist Village. They had just entered by hiding their head protectors, since they weren't well known in the whole ninja world. Karma had originally wanted to find some food in a stall, but most shops were closed. All around the duo, ninjas of the same village were fighting each other while the civilians ran to their destinations. As it was raining, the ground was filled with slightly red water, thanks to the blood littering the streets.
"Okay, let's just jump into the biggest fight we see and pick a side then." Karma said. He planned to join whichever side needed the most help, since joining a stronger power would mean fighting weaker opponents. That wouldn't help him increase his strength in any way more beneficial than the usual training.
The duo put their head protectors back on, Karma had his on his right arm like before, and Tayuya copied him. Then, they began to search for a larger battle, everything they came across was usually one on one or two on two.
Eventually, they finally found a larger group, fighting in an open space. There were several people of note, especially Mei Terumi, the soon to be fifth Mizukage, and Yagura, the fourth Mizukage and current jinchuriki of the Sanbi. 'Things, have changed. I didn't expect it was already the end of the civil war. This should be the final fight, but I can still join. If we're met with hostility afterwards, I'll just leave. Hopefully not though.' Karma thought.
"Tayuya, we're gonna need a grand entrance, so here's the plan..." Karma whispered.
=======
Mei Terumi was worries. Her side was definitely weaker overall than Yagura's, so she rushed to set up a final fight. She could tell. Her side was rapidly losing strength, while Yagura's was still going strong. She was also rapidly losing strength, having to make up for her people's weaknesses.
Why couldn't she have kept calm? Now, everything looked bleaker than before. Her home weakened. Her people broken. Their hopes and dream shattered. Faith stepped on by the fourth Mizukage. But what could she do? She tried her best with the forces she could gather, but Yagura was too strong. People feared him, so they worked for him. They could see, Mei Terumi's forces were small in number, and they weren't brave enough to help fill out those numbers. Not if they would surely die.
She couldn't even keep her own forces in line. Many defected at the first signs of their loss, making their already minima forces even smaller. Mei didn't blame them, she understood. Even if they and their families suffered with Yagura, at least they would be alive. She, however, refused. She refused to succumb to Yagura's rule. She had her beliefs. Her faith in herself. She believed that if she won, she could lead the Hidden Rain to prosperity. Purge bloodlines? What a stupid idea for a Kage, the Hidden Leaf was on of the strongest villages thanks to bloodlines! Uchiha, Hyuga, Nekotsume, Senju, even the Uzumaki all led to the prosperity of the Leaf. And the Uzumaki took three nations to destroy while suffering heavy casualties too!

Obito was happy. Everything in the Hidden Mist was going exactly as planned. Even this rebellion was very easy to squash because he showed off a bit of Yagura's power!
He was glad the Eye of the Moon Plan was going smoothly, even if there were some rather obvious problems. For one, the Hidden Leaf Village, he wasn't able to eliminate the Uchiha Clan with the death of Danzo. A rather unfortunate death, that idiot was a useful tool, thinking he was manipulating others, while simply being a tool. That made the Kyuubi harder to acquire.
Second, that damn Aizen Sosuke. Obito could tell, behind that kind smile and subservient attitude, Aizen wanted to rule. He wanted to dominate everyone. He knew, sooner or later, Aizen would make a move, and Obito had to be ready. However, he didn't know what Aizen would do at all!! He thought he was smart, but Aizen was a monster. A monster he couldn't get a read on. Obito had to find a way to get rid of him.
The last problem he had to solve was the death of Orochimaru. The snake would have been useful, in the future. It was an unfortunate loss, but he could simply search the hidden bases for what he needed.
Now, he was preparing to finish off Mei Terumi, the rebel leader. She was a powerful Kunoichi, he thought. It was a shame he couldn't make use of her and had to kill her.
"Men!" Obito forced Yagura to yell with his Sharingan, "Let's end this!"
Yagura began to form hand seals, something his forces quickly did as well.
"Water Release: Water Dragon Jutsu!" They all yelled, combining their techniques into a singular much more powerful water dragon that rushed towards Mei. They rushed after it.
Mei felt despair. She could block it for herself and survive, but what about her comrades? They followed her into battle because they believed in her, but they would all die. Even if she escaped, what hope did she have alone against so many strong Jonin and Yagura?
"Plant Release: Thousand Thorns Binding!"
"Akufu Enlarge: Water Reversal!"
