"Hyung?"
"Yeah?"
Yoongi stared at Jin from the passenger seat, trying to find the right words. He respects Jin, and doesn't always question his actions. Of course, Jin has never done something to this extent. He couldn't control this situation, and Yoongi hates not being in control. He usually has no problem letting the responsiblities be dealt with through Jin, or Namjoon. They have great insight, and it is only right that the oldest, and the leader's vote is considered first. Rarely does he doubt their judgement, and create a scene.
"What are you doing?" is all Yoongi can think to ask.
"I'm driving."
"You know what I'm asking," Yoongi sighs, "Do you know her?"
"Of course not. The beach was the first time I've ever spoken to her."
"Then, why did you invite them over to our place?"
"I don't know. It's our second time running into each other and at the same place, at a different time. We must be fated to be in each other's lives. I didn't want to waste a chance at making a new friend. "
"You're crazy." Yoongi laughed in relief. Jin just spontaneously befriended someone based on a coincidental meet. 'It's not uncommon for Jin to make friends wherever we go.' he reminds himself.
"OK, so how do you plan on not revealing who we really are? We have to take our masks off to eat."
"I hadn't thought that far. I figure it's no big deal. We're here."
"Woah!" Seo-yeon and Kang Dae said in union. The beach house was had the best view of the ocean. The house was painted white with blue trim, and was elevated in the event of flooding. It was two stories, which was odd to Seo-yeon, considering only two people were staying here.
"This way." Yoongi lead them up the stairs, while Jin played caboose.
The inside was as amazing as the exterior. They entered a spacious living room, complete with two blue patterned couches, and a coffee table. Yoongi continued towards the kitchen, which was an open area near the living room, and divided by an island.
"Please take a seat. We'll get started on the food. I hope you don't mind something simple. Sorry, we haven't stocked up since we arrived, so all we have are some beef, ramen, and potatoes." Jin said.
"Oh, that's fine. Actually sounds great. Add some veggies, and it's even better." Kang Dae replied.
"Hyung, we need drinks." Yoongi yelled out from the kitchen.
"I saw a small store on the way here. Kang Dae and I can stop and buy something. It's the least we can do, since you're providing the food." Seo-yeon chipped in. She was attempting to put as much space as she could. They seemed like nice guys, but she was still very unnerved. 'Kang Dae seems to be making himself at home,' she thought as she watched him begin assisting Yoongi with the meat.
"I'll drive you. They look like they have a system going on over there." Jin was already reaching for his keys. He looked over at her, and gestured towards the door. "Yoongi, we'll be back."
Yoongi nodded to confirm he heard. Kang Dae happily waved to Seo-yeon, who was glaring at him. 'This guy has no clue.' she angrily thought.
"Ready?" Jin asked. Seo-yeon did not know if she was ready. For the first time, she gained the courage to look at his face. All she could see were his eyes, but just that alone, made her nervous. She was very curious to see what the rest of his face looked like.
