So Many Possibilities

Manager Sejin left the VIP room to send Eun-ha their way. Namjoon waved happily at them before he followed Sejin out. Yoongi awkwardly looked around, unsure what to do or say in this situation. Some time during their mini speeches of approval, Jin reached out and held Seo-yeon's hand. Now, Yoongi wished the floor would swallow him up so he could avoid being a third wheel. Yoong dramatically coughed, drawing Jin and Seo's attention away from each other.

"Jin, take Seo-yeon to the car. I'll take her friend once she gets here," Yoongi said without making eye contact with them. Both smiled warmly at their friend.

"Come on, Seo." Jin lightly pulled on her hand and lead her to the garage.

Yoongi watched as they walked away, not aware that Eun-ha had quietly entered. She witnessed the couple exit the room, and the man staring at them as they left. He had a bittersweet smile on his face.

"Why didn't you fight for her?"

He almost fell in shock at the sudden interruption. Eun-ha apologized for scaring him, and repeated her question in case he didn't hear her. He frowned at her in disapproval of her choice of topic.

"What are you talking about?"

"It's obvious from your expression that you hate seeing her go."

His frown deepened. 'If she wasn't Seo's friend I would give her a piece of my mind.'

"I don't know what you mean, Miss. Let's go join Seo and Jin before they begin to wonder why we're so late," he said as he held the door for her.

She smirked at him, but left through the door. He began to walk ahead of her, but she followed his speed. Not one to back down, she continued to question him.

"I know you know what I mean," she looked up at his face, which was determinedly facing forward. Frown still present. "Tae will be disappointed. He was rooting for you. I have to admit that I thought you and Seo had a connection. I'm pretty shocked to find out that Jin was her first love. I didn't expect you to just-"

"Don't you ever stop talking?" Yoongi suddenly shouted. They stopped in the darkened hall, facing each other. Eun-ha's mouth comically hung open. They both froze at his sudden outburst. He blinked rapidly taken back by his actions. He'd never yelled at a girl. This young woman managed to get under his skin in a few minutes.

"I'm sorry," he muttered.

Eun-ha shrugged, "I deserved it."

He looked at her surprised that she didn't cower away at his temper. Instead she shrugged again, and sheepishly laughed. He found himself grinning in embarrassment.

"I didn't mean to cross the line, Mr. Min. I just have this feeling you do have some sort of feelings for unnie. It isn't my place to interfere."

"She's your friend. I'm sure part of your curiosity stems from that," he sighed. He looked down at his feet. Finally deciding to be honest with one person, he quietly voiced his piece. "For a short while I guess I did start to think I liked her. I'm not great at expressing how I feel, and I wasn't sure if I really liked her like that," he glanced at Eun-ha's face to see her reaction.

"So?" she asked.

"So, what?" He had no idea what she meant.

"Do you like her?"

He leaned against the wall and sighed, "I think I may have a little, but I'm not crazy, or blind. They love each other, and I would never attempt to force her to feel something for me. It's not like I lost anything," he grinned, "She was never mine to begin with. Besides, I got a little sister now."

"Wow. You're so mature, Mr. Min," she said in awe.

"Ugh, call me Yoongi. I feel ancient every time you call me that."

They both laughed at his comment of his name. The tense air cleared, and peace was made. He gestured forward, and they continued their walk to the parking garage. They continued their banter the whole way.

***Jin and Seo-Yeon alone waiting***

"I can't believe you told your manager," Seo-yeon stated, "I've been trying so hard to keep my distance and stay professional."

"Are you upset that I told them?" Jin's grip on her hand slightly tightened in fear of the possibility that she regretted his actions.

"Of course I'm not mad," she lightly rubbed his hand with her other hand to relax his grip, "I'm just scared about what we're about to get ourselves into."

"I'm scared too, Seo-yeon," he gently pulled her towards him, "But I can't pretend that I'm just your client, or even your friend."

He slid closer to her, and brushed back a strand of hair behind her ear. Her breath caught at the smallest touch. Jin leaned forward, and brushed his lips on hers.

"Jin..." she said breathlessly.

No longer hesitating, Jin pulled her into an embrace and passionately kissed her. Each released all the longing that been held back the past few months. The time spent apart, missing one another. Wondering what each was doing, and if they were missed. Their embrace tightened, and Jin's hands cradled her head closer to him. She held onto his coat front in a firm grip, not wanting to sizzling kiss.

A distant car door slammed, bringing the two back to reality. Not pulling from their embrace, they pulled apart enough to stare into each other's eyes. Their breathing was heavy from the heated kiss, and their faces were flushed.

"Seo-yeon, I love you.

Seo's eyes widened having not expected him to declare his love for her. She knew she loved him, but hadn't wanted to fool herself into believing that he felt anything stronger than a liking for her. He stared at her with pleading eyes. It was as if he were begging her to love him back. She couldn't believe that her love for him wasn't one sided. Taking the initiative, she leaned into him, and gently kissed him.

"I love you too, Jin," she whispered, her lips still lingering close to his, "I don't know what's going to happen from here, but I'm more than happy to take this journey with you."

Grinning at each other, they closed the space with another kiss. This one full of promise for the future, and their declared love.
